I (Peter Whiting) began working as an electrical apprentice in 1983, this was a full 5 year apprenticeship. On finishing my apprenticeship I set up my own business as a sole trader in 1988. The limited business began trading in June 2002.
The business is family run and some of the electrical services we offer are shown in the details below.
You will see I have many reviews showing despite only being endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader from April 2018. The reviews I have from before this time are from Which? Members who have used my services and recommended me to other Which? Members. (These reviews are from Which? Peter responded quickly to a phone message I left. He clearly explained the call out charge and helped me determine that I was willing to pay that. He contacted the manufacturer of the pump that was not functioning in order to get more information. He was able to repair it quickly. He is also a pleasant conversationalist.

I had contacted Peter on a previous occasion. He came out very quickly, solved one of the problems immediately, rectified a fault that was found, but needed to come back to fully fix the problem. This was done, plus another small job and I am very pleased with the result. As with other reviewers Peter did a great job, even the small ones, and I would certainly use him again in future should the need arise.

We have used Peter Whiting to do a number of small electrical jobs in our house (e.g. fixing switches/plugs, replacing ceiling-mounted lights, etc.) and he has done all these to the highest quality standards and in a relatively short time period. He was able to respond to our request within a short timeframe and he has always interacted in a very professional and responsive manner with us. I will definitely use Peter again in the future and would strongly recommend him for any similar jobs.
