About
I (Peter Whiting) began working as an electrical apprentice in 1983, this was a full 5 year apprenticeship. On finishing my apprenticeship I set up my own business as a sole trader in 1988. The limited business began trading in June 2002.
The business is family run and some of the electrical services we offer are shown in the details below.
You will see I have many reviews showing despite only being endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader from April 2018. The reviews I have from before this time are from Which? As well as installing a new wall socket for the cooker area, Peter helped install a new cooker hob - including some ad hoc carpentry work. He was punctual, efficient (finished within 2 hours) and highly professional. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

We lost all power to the house, called Peter who came to us as soon as he could. He kept us informed of when we could expect him, what his charges were and he arrived when he said he would. It was a tricky job but he fixed the problem and also replaced a faulty socket for us. We will most certainly use Peter again and don’t hesitate in recommending him. A reassuringly good experience!

I contacted Peter and he was able to visit the job on same day and book me in for the work to be completed. Despite a few changes required, Peter was very patient with communication between us to finalise everything. He turned up early morning to start the work as planned and checked all details and requirements. The quality and precision of the work Peter did is meticulous and would be happy to recommend Peter. I highly recommend Peter Whiting Electrical Contractors in Bromley. Peter quickly found the fault in our downstairs plug circuit and installed a solution that resolved the problem quickly and at a very reasonable price. Peter is very professional and honest and let's you know what the issue is, how he is going to fix it and what the cost will be with no hidden extras. Peter has completed several jobs for us after we moved into our new home. He removed and fitted a new oven for us, disconnected an old electric shower and fitted new light fixings for us. He completed all of the work very quickly and professionally to a high standard and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anybody. We have moved to a new property and booked Peter to undertake a test and inspection on the existing electrical installation in accordance with BS 7671. This he did, thoroughly and conscientiously, going well beyond the call of duty in examining and advising on a number of unexpected issues. We shall be booking him again to undertake additional necessary work, and shall do so unhesitatingly. I cannot speak too highly of his work or his helpful (but always professional) friendliness.
