PHP Services

We have used PHP for many years. We had two projects close to each other - one to replace a toilet ball cock and one to replace a hot water ball cock. Both requests were responded to quickly and faulty parts were spotted early for one of the projects and replaced at PHP's initiative. They were quite challenging in terms of the space for the works, but PHP made sure everything was working correctly and even made further adjustments after review f the final works. Care taken with both works.

Since September 2023 they've come to give us a gas safety certificate, service our back boiler, help when our boiler wouldn't light three separate times, replaced a faulty combination valve, removed one radiator and relocated others, and replaced our entire boiler system. Overall, PHP Services was professional, warm and friendly, and clearly communicated the problems they saw and how they could be fixed. They often fit us in for service promptly normally same day when the problem was an emergency and even helped one of our elderly neighbours whose heating and hot water weren't working and no other plumbers could help. You can tell it's a very well-run business by the way they communicate clearly when your engineer is booked in, send text reminders, deliver invoices promptly and with reminders if necessary, and are available if you need them. We tried another gas engineer once when we were trying to remove radiators as soon as possible (PHP said they could come in 3 days, but because of our own poor planning with painters we were wondering if we could get someone in sooner) and had such a horrible experience, and it showed us how lucky we've been with the professional and kind service from PHP Services. We'd recommend them to anyone and are planning to stick with them as long as we're living in the area. They even go the extra mile leaving a space better than they left it after work is done, moving furniture to and from when it's in the way of work they need to do but always asking if that's okay, and ensuring they're working in such a way to minimise any inconvenience on us.

I've used PHP for some years now, both in my own home and in our rental properties. I have also recommended them to friends. Their service is always excellent, they are always friendly, and are willing to go the extra mile if necessary - for example coming to fix a boiler at short notice in the middle of winter. I also consider them to be trustful and reliable

New central heating boiler Very good advice given before work undertaken and communication from the company on time lines for the work excellent. The engineer who did all the work was exceptional making sure traffic areas were covered and protected. A good follow up after work completed

I have used PHP for heating and plumbing work since 2009 when they installed our current boiler as part of a new bathroom installation. We have used them annually since then for boiler maintenance and we have been consistently happy with the work they have carried out. Making appointments is easy and we have found their staff are friendly and professional.
