There was a serious drip from my bathroom tap, and I found Tony on Which Trusted Trader. He arrived at the agreed time and was able to identify the problem and quickly solved it by replacing the tap cartridges. I am very happy to recommend Tony.

This was a routine annual service which Tony did thoroughly and efficiently and at a reasonable price. I had chosen him last year from the Which traders list because he was local and well recommended. I was not disappointed, so when he emailed me to say that this year's service was due, I was happy for him to do it. He followed up the service by emailing me a detailed summary of the work done. I am happy to recommend him to others.

I needed my newly purchased taps fitted to replace broken taps in the bathroom. Tony provided a swift estimate for the job. He agreed a mutually convenient date for the work, arrived at the specified time, and fitted the new taps within the estimated time. I am very happy with the work that he has done, and his pleasant and efficient manner. I would be happy to contact him for future plumbing needs, and am happy to recommend him to others on the same basis.

We asked Tony to undertake our annual boiler service after another company let us down. We were impressed with the high standard to which he works - professional, careful and obviously very experienced. Also, competitively priced. We will use his service again and would recommend him to friends.

I came across Tony through our neighbourhood residents' association. Our Vaillant boiler had become temperamental for six months sometimes working in one part of the house and other times not. Today, the thermostat would click “on” but no heat came through the radiators in one part of the house whereas in another part controlled by a separate thermostat was fine. This morning I phoned Tony at 8am and left a message explaining the problem and also texted him asking if he could visit today. He replied by text saying when he would come later this morning. He checked the dodgy thermostat and noticed that it clicked appropriately but went straight to the Vaillant boiler where he checked inside the insulated electrical connection which leads from the thermostat to the boiler. He showed me that the timer was elderly and defective and advised a new replacement part. He departed to a supplier, returned in an hour and fixed the new part. After testing the system our heat is successfully restored. He also fixed an unrelated plumbing problem which had been unfixed for six months. Throughout his visit, Tony explained what he was doing and why. He gave realistic and reasonable estimates for costs and times. Today he provided a clear and comprehensive invoice. I would highly recommend Tony and will certainly call him in future if plumbing or heating problems arise.

I found Plumbright on the Which website but being the eternal cynic- still thought the 5 star reviews must somehow be over embellished or made up .... Tony definitely proved me wrong! I'd booked a long overdue service for my Potterton boiler after finally having enough of exorbitant charges by a certain well known company. It's certainly never had such a thorough M.O.T by such a professional /knowledgeable person . He arrived on time & worked solidly for just over an hour cleaning /taking apart & making good a whole load of stuff that's way too technical for me to describe .Price was as quoted before his visit & was fully invoiced & detailed exactly what work had been done. I'd have no hesitation in giving him the highest recommendation .

I found Tony via the Which? Trusted Traders site and booked him to service my boiler, which was not heating up my radiators as much as in previous years. He was professional and thorough, got the boiler working efficiently again, did the whole range of safety checks, explaining what he was doing throughout, and I even got some tips on how to lower heating costs. All this in about an hour. He definitely provided a better service at a lower cost than a certain large gas company I could mention. Will definitely be booking my annual services with him from now on.

Tony has maintained our boiler and solved our plumbing problems for many years, and he has always taken the time to explain the issues involved to us and how they might be fixed. We are very grateful for his professional knowledge, skills and experience. His problem-solving expertise has come to our rescue so many times, once for instance in finding the right obscure part to repair the flushing mechanism for a lavatory tank. Most recently, he quickly diagnosed the fault when our elderly boiler broke down. Tony has always come when he said he would, and we have consistently found his charges to be very fair. We absolutely trust and rely on Tony, and would recommend him to anyone who needs a plumbing and heating engineer.

The thermostat wasn't working and I was cold. Tony came at speed and the problem was fixed in no time. He was very pleasant and will now be coming back to service the boiler too.

Our boiler was not working and we called Tony at 8am. He arrived an hour later and got it working enough to give us some heat. It needed some parts which he needed to source. Within a few hours he was back to complete the job. He also checked our water tank and adjusted the pressure and air gap. His work was clean and thorough and he explained exactly what the problems were and what needed to be done. A few days earlier he had unblocked our bathroom sink. As always he arrived swiftly. We always use Tony, his work is not only excellent but fairly priced.

Tony responded quickly when my boiler was broken, showed me what was wrong (with photos and the parts once removed), and quietly, efficiently and effectively got on with the job. At all times he was pleasant to deal with and explained any issues clearly. He's now my first choice plumber.

I called the plumber out to replace a faulty shower tap mixer, an expensive job. He came promptly as arranged and, rather than replacing the unit, he carried out some tests to confirm that the unit was okay and that the cause of the problem was elsewhere in the flat, in the HW supply tap. I was impressed by his skill and honesty. His charges were reasonable too and communication very good. I recommend him highly and will certainly employ him again if needed.

I phoned Plumbright late this morning (a Saturday) to ask if someone could come out to look at my leaking boiler. Tony appeared within the hour, carried out a thorough inspection of the boiler, explaining what he was looking at and looking for as he worked. He was very reassuring that none of the pipework was leaking and that the problem related to the condensate freezing, explaining how that would affect the boiler. I had great faith that he really knew what he was talking about. He didn't rush and I felt very reassured when he finished his inspection. The call out charge was extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Plumbright to anyone requiring a knowledgeable, efficient, reasonably priced and pleasant local plumber.

All in all, Tony demonstrated being very knowledgeable, methodical, and communicated his observations and likely cause for them at every step. Fixed problems he encountered, including going out to get needed spare parts in the same day. When a slight complication developed days later, he gave clear instructions over the phone on how to mitigate the problem immediately and came by later the same day to fix it completely. I'm extremely satisfied by the service, 100% will go to Tony again with any kind of gas/boiler/plumbing needs.

Tony came to do a service on my Worcester Bosch boiler. Tony responded quickly, turned up when agreed and conducted a thorough service. We’ve subsequently used his plumbing services and had the same experience. Highly recommended.

Tony recently came to replace the thermostat on my boiler. He responded quickly to my inquiry, emailed information which helped me to choose a suitable model, and was prompt and efficient about making arrangements. I was very pleased with the work, and grateful his clear explanation of how the new thermostat operates. I will definitely contact him again when it's time for the boiler to be serviced, or if other work to the central heating or plumbing is required.

We have been using Tony as our plumber since 2014. He has done our annual boiler service for the last 5 years. He has also changed values on radiators, replaced outside taps, fixed toilet cisterns ands unblocked sinks. Overall he has taken on all our plumbing tasks and done them thoroughly and really well. I highly recommend Tony. He is polite, efficient and always reliable.

Tony came round to check our boiler as well as to give our place a general gas safety check. As part of this he fixed an issue we had with the cooker. Emailed a summary of gas safety certificate info to us afterwards. Tony talked through everything so I understood. Efficient and on time. Great service which means we keep coming back to Tony. The first time Tony helped out was after a valve lever broke off and water was leaking from it. Tony was able to come round within a couple of hours and fitted a new valve, much to my relief. Even though this was an 'emergency call out', the invoice was based on his standard hourly rate. A few weeks later I asked him to come back to mend three leaking taps and to move a garden tap. Again, his invoice was reasonable and the quality of work was excellent. Having been charged exorbitant amounts for poor quality work by plumbers in the past, it was a relief to find someone who turned up when promised, did a good job and charged a reasonable fee. It was a bonus that he is pleasant and tidies up afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Tony serviced my boiler last year, and asked him to do the same this year, along with helping to identify and fix a very small leak for the boiler as I just couldn't figure out what was causing it. He was punctual, clean & tidy, wore a mask. Figured out the issue (caused by a less-than-perfect design from the original installers), fixed it and suggested a potential improvement (no hard sell at all). I found a small issue (unpredictable knock-on impact) to resolve after he'd left. He came back the day after I contacted him and fixed it, at no additional charge. All working well now. From my experience Tony is a competent, honest tradesman I can rely on. His costs are clear to see and while he might not be the cheapest, given his reliability and quality of work, I have no hesitation recommending him.

After a whole lot of back and forward, I asked if he would be ok to park in a car park around the corner to save me paying £45 for a Camden parking permit and he said "you will have to find another plumber".

We used a plumber to fit a new boiler but he was useless. So, we contacted Tony because of a friend's highly recommendation few years ago. Tony solved all problems which the previous plumber made. Tony is so professional. His response of our contact is very quick and his work is fantastic. We needed his help urgently because our kitchen sink has been blocked and we found water is leaking as well. So, we couldn't use water in the kitchen at all. So, we sent an email on Sunday even though we knew he is off work on Sunday. However, he replied the email to help us the following Morning. What we were so pleased was his reply. As you imagine, we had a relaxing Sunday evening. We rely on him so much.

Tony has worked for us on a number of occasions and has always solved our plumbing problems quickly and efficiently. Recently, he serviced two boilers with careful attention to detail and ensuring thorough safety checks. I would highly recommend Tony. He is very reliable and professional.

Our 15 year old boiler has been rescued - Tony found the problem on the call out visit, and then proceeded to give us the alternatives with quotes including finding the parts needed. It was fixed on the second visit. He came on time and worked efficiently. No hesitation to use him again - he will be the first person we will call.
