I am really impressed by this company. From my initial contact with Jo-Ann in the office who arranged for the work to be done at a convenient day and time for me and Tom and Freddie who arrived on time and completed a very professional job methodically and quickly. The job entailed pairing the light fixture with a phone app to operate it and Tom patiently helped me to complete the process. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and give it top marks.

Another good experience from Point Electrical fitting led lights in the kitchen breakfast room. The work was done at the time agreed efficiently and tidily. I definitely recommend this company and will use them again myself

Josh from Point Electrical came and installed a new oven and connected it to the consumer unit. He was friendly and his work was very thorough. And he cleaned up any mess as he went along. Result - one very happy customer and would definitely use Point Electrical again.

Point Electrical were very helpful and accommodating when we were seeking guidance regarding suitability of light fittings for our kitchen and bathroom. The team worked very hard installing both the light fittings, consumer unit and fixing a few other household items. We were very pleased that all work was carried out to schedule.

I don't normally leave reviews but I am happy to do so on this occasion. The work undertaken by Point Electrical included the installation of new light fittings in my living room, kitchen, and bedroom, the installation of an extractor fan in my bathroom including replacement of a pull cord switch for operating the light and fan with a three way switch plate in the hallway; installation of outdoor lights and sensor flood lights; and installation of an electric hob. The ceiling light fittings in the living room were difficult as I have high pitched ceilings and each light needed a wooden base to be fixed to the ceiling. Joshua did a great job creating the bases and I am delighted with the whole effect. Joshua, Tom and Freddie worked really diligently over two days installing the lights and bathroom extractor fan. They were very clean and tidy, vacuuming as they went along to remove the dust and plaster from chasing into the walls. The installation of the hob turned out to be a big job as I was replacing a gas hob with electric and this needed to be wired into the mains supply. Joshua came back on day 3 to complete this job. He also had to widen the cavity in the granite work top to fit the new hob but he managed to get it all sorted out and working perfectly. I will certainly be using Point Electrical again and have no problem in recommending them. Very pleasant to deal with, punctual, tidy, and work completed to a very high standard.

I would thoroughly recommend the folks at Point Electrical. Joshua, Tom and Freddie upgraded the fuse box within the day. Given the age of the previous fuse box and subsequent house wiring, there were a few challenges to resolve. In each case the root cause was identified and subsequently cleared so to certify the installation. A very professional installation and they were extremely tidy as they worked, clearing up after. With any future electrical work, I certainly know who I'll be contacting.

Joshua and his colleague came at the agreed time to review our requirements. We wanted our bathroom extractor fan replaced which they did, and they installed an insulated extractor fan hose and attached it to the rafters to address any noise issues. They addressed the setup of our 2-way switch on our stairs and they fixed the set up of our floodlight. We are currently gathering out next list of electrical requirements for them to address over the next couple of months. We recommend them and will have them back to ours. No higher recommendation, we think.

Josh turned up on time every day and completed the work in record time. I recommend him and his company very highly.

Another prompt, efficient and friendly service from Josh and the Point team. This is the third time I have used them for a relatively small job for my elderly mother (providing a connection for an electric cooker) and am again impressed with the speed of response to my online query, the clear communications including the quote, the quality of their work and how clean and tidy they leave the place afterwards.

The power supply to our tumble dryer had failed so I contacted Point Electrical. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that Joshua was working nearby he'd be able to attend the same day. He quickly identified and rectified the problem and left everything neat and tidy. I also asked if he could check the wall lights in my sitting room as the bulbs were burning-out very quickly. Again, thre problem was quickly identified - the solution required no electrical work and no charge was made. The service was friendly, attentive and efficient. I have kept Point's contact details and will definitely contact them when I need further electrical work done.

Having my son’s office redecorated and decided that we needed an additional twin 13amp socket. Contacted Point Electrical and they were able to fit the job in very quickly, which was very helpful. We are very pleased with work that was carried out and how neatly the socket has been installed. We have used Point Electrical before and will use them again.

My mum in Hitchin had a very small electrical job (putting switches on a couple of power points). We were very pleased with the prompt, friendly and efficient service from Point Electrical and would certainly use them again whether for another small job or something bigger.

We needed some advice and work to improve cabling and electric sockets around our office. Point came to quote and offered good advice and options, offering cost saving opportunities. The quote was competitive, they agreed a time promptly and on site were flexible and helpful (for example, after looking at particular issues they agreed to do small extra pieces of work). The team tidied up as they went and follow up was all very professional. Will use again and highly recommend.

I had the unfortunate experience of being badly let down by a kitchen fitter who brought unqualified trades to site. The electrical and plumbing work was an utter shambles! and dangerous! Joshua, the director quickly dispatched Tom and another electrician called Joshua to sort the mess out. Over two days they worked tirelessly to made good the wiring and upgraded my consumer box. The chaps were knowledgeable, knew their trade well and it was a joy to watch qualified trades do a very good job. They we’re neat, efficient, punctual, professional, everything you could wish for. The work was completed on time, to schedule and certified by a third sparky and the work signed off. It was a first class service and I would highly recommend them. I also used Point Plumbing and Ryan the plumber did a similar outstanding job.

I have used Point Electrical many times and they are always excellent: helpful, polite and efficient. Yesterday was no exception. I telephoned in the morning and my problem was resolved by mid afternoon. The invoice was in my inbox by the evening. What more could you ask for? Thank you

Point Electrical provided a quotation for the replacement of the main fuse box with a new compliant Main Consumer Unit. The work commenced on the agreed day and was completed by mid afternoon. This is the second time we have used Point Electrical and they always send extremely polite engineers who do an excellent job and always leave the the work area in a tidy fashion before leaving. Following this work they did some additional work for us the following week, replacing old power points and putting a new fan in the bathroom, which we again are very pleased with. Will definitely use them again.

I called POINT as they were the closest Electricians to me that I could find in Trusted Traders and had good reviews. I needed a couple of fluorescent lights, which were sited as kitchen work surface lights, looked at. They asked me to send a few photos which I did. Within a couple of days I had an appointment and a couple of their lads arrived within 5 mins of the agreed time. I was immediately impressed that they thought of putting overshoe coverings on their feet. Why can't all workmen manage to do this? Anyway they managed to resolve the problem of the two light fittings within a half hour or so of arriving by replacing two starters for which I wasn't charged. The invoice was for £70 which I assumed to be their minimum call out charge and as I hadn't requested a quote, I was perfectly happy with the charge. POINT would be my first port of call if I ever had any more electrical problems.

Point Electrical fitted a couple of bathroom fans and a loft light for us. The electricians were professional, knowledgeable and friendly, and the price quoted was reasonable. Just what a good electrician should be and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I had contacted Josh on the recommendation of our decorator. Tom arrived on time and carried out the replacement of switches and ceiling roses quickly and professionally. Taking great care not to damage the newly decorated walls, especially when replacing the very difficult to access ceiling rose hallway up the stairs. Overall our experience could not have been better, in fact I have already asked Josh to quote for further works, I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
