I have used Paul at Prestige Heating & Plumbing to service our boiler for a number of years. Paul fixes issues if they arise and is always punctual, polite and tidy.

Paul carried out the work in his usual professional manner He replaced a broken tap and repaired the plug in the bathroom basin , serviced the gas boiler and checked that two downstairs heaters were in working order The work was completed in line with the agreed budget

Paul serviced our gas fire and gas boiler. He solved a problem with our gas fire a few years ago, which another company had not resolved. We have used his services ever since. He is always helpful, polite and friendly .

Paul was excellent. He came round very quickly for what was an emergency especially when compared to all other plumbers in the area who couldn’t make it for 24 hours. He made the exception because it was an emergency and came round at 6pm when he’d finished for the day. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently and returned the next day with the correct parts to fix the problem.

A new boiler was installed during one day, as per schedule and to budget. The central heating system was flushed and cleaned, leaving a fully functioning system. The work staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful. I can thoroughly recommend this company, based on this, and previous, experience.

We found Paul to be very helpful and amenable. He diagnosed the problem quickly, gave us a idea of the cost and then went to buy replacement parts. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and will use his services in future.

Fixed leaking pipe junction which was getting worse day by day, removed old water softener and cured air lock problem brought on by this reviewer turning of mains stop cock. Spoke at end of one day and all problems fixed first thing next morning (to schedule and price previously agreed). Very pleasant and competent!

Paul and his colleague fitted a new boiler and tested our whole hot water/central heating system. The job was quickly quoted and was billed with no extras. The job was done efficiently and with no mess. We have used Prestige for over 16 years for all our heating/boiler work always a great job.

Paul and his team did a wonderful job designing and fitting our new bathroom. The job was to remove the old bath, toilet, basin and tiles, then install walk-in shower, with new toilet and basin plus complete re-tiling of floor and all walls. Extra spotlights were added to the ceiling and any untiled areas were re-painted. We were offered complete choice on tiles and fittings, supported by helpful and expert advice from Paul. The installation was completely done, start to finish, whilst we were away on holiday - we returned to a completely new bathroom! Would recommend Paul and his team.

It may only have been a small job - two old broken leaky taps - but Paul and his team assessed the job quickly, explored different options and came up with a quick solution to replace and sort them. Paul and Mark were professional, tidy, polite and very happy to explain what they were doing. Very happy with their work.

We had difficulty finding someone to help us remove an old fire and make it safe. Paul was fantastic, he communicated in advance, agreed the price and was very reliable and pleasant to deal with taking a lot of care with the job. I would highly recommend.

Paul is reliable and professional. My toilet flush is broken. He ordered one and had it replaced very quickly. During his visit, he also did an inspection of a leaking washing machine hose and provided a detailed report with quote. Paul supplied and installed a new washing machine cold water inlet hose within 2 days. Highly recommended and will definitely use him again in the future.

Paul serviced the boiler then went out and purchased a new tap to replace the faulty one in the kitchen sink, and then fitted it. Minimum fuss, maximum efficiency.

Our old U/F heating system was stuck on - Paul came round a couple of times to check on everything and then managed to source new control units to work with the existing underfloor pipework manifold so the whole thing did not need to be removed ! very efficient.

Paul serviced our central heating boiler. He arrived on time and left the area clean and tidy. The bill was actually less than quoted as on checking, the heat exchanger did not need to be cleaned.

Paul quickly identified the fault with our heating, sourced the part and replaced it with the minimum of fuss. Very conscientious of our young baby too.

Paul and his colleague James installed a new Ideal boiler for me yesterday. They arrived as scheduled at 8.15am and worked hard for a very long day to get the whole job completed. They took the time to explain how the heating system works and were careful to keep everything clean and tidy. They were thoroughly nice people to spend the day with. I was impressed by the way they worked and am very grateful for all they’ve done.

Called Paul, he arranged to visit on Monday morning arrived on time diagnosed the problem straight away. Went to get the necessary parts, fitted them got the boiler working again & cleaned up after all his work.

We lost our hot water due to a faulty thermostat. Paul (I suspect having reshuffled his work) responded quickly and the work was completed effectively and efficiently. We asked Paul and Mark to do a power flush to sort out long-term heating issues that no plumber had ever really got to grips with. While doing that it became apparent that our old system had several problems including a furred up/broken old cylinder. All on the coldest week of the year they efficiently and swiftly got quotes and repaired the system. Their work was professional and they are totally trustworthy. We called Mr Harris because there was a leak on the combination valve of the Magaflo Mr Harris visited the property and tightened up the black plastic nut on the cover of the combination valve, it had become loose. The visited us on the next day after we contacted him and accepted bank payment. Very highly recommended

We needed a new sink tap installed and Paul was terrific in communicating with us and setting up a time for his colleague to come fit the tab. Job done as expected and with really good service.

After our boiler was condemned as having a fumes leak we found Paul who gave lots of useful advice. I appreciated that he came the day earlier than we had arranged as we had no heating or hot water. Together with his colleague they replaced our boiler and gave the radiators a flush out. We were consulted at all stages and the work was finished the next day. We noticed a tiny leak from a pipe later that night but Paul came back straight away and fixed it. I would recommend and use them again.

This was a standard domestic gas boiler service. Paul was very pleasant, efficient and helpful on answering questions about options for possible further work.

Paul & his colleague supplied and installed a new thermostat in the shower valve in the bathroom and also supplied and installed a new wireless room thermostat. The work was done very efficiently and cleanly. Paul has done other jobs for me before and I have been happy with those too. With regard to the room thermostat I explained what I wanted and got exactly what I asked for.

Rang Paul on Sat re unexpected failure of central heating. He rang back Sunday and promised to be with us late Monday. In the event he came around lunchtime and was pleasant and very efficient. Also he likes large dogs.

I am more than satisfied with Paul’s work. His first job for me was to fix a broken Aqualisa shower control that was allowing water to flood through the floors. He found out the source of the terrible mouldy smell coming from my new bathroom (builder had missed a part from the novel shower trap), contacted the manufacturer and ordered the missing part, returned and dealt with it, keeping me updated throughout. He also gave advice on the wall hung toilet that needed tightening and fixed the dodgy downstairs loo syphon in passing (we were putting up with it - sorted in seconds!) He then fixed my 20 year old boiler on 2 further occasions. Last Thursday, he saved us from the consequences of a DIY tap installation - he made time for us despite being fully booked and with a family obligation. On each occasion, Paul has arrived when he promised, kept me updated when running a few minutes late, done exactly what he said he would and worked expertly and efficiently - no nasty surprises. He has a wealth of experience and it shows in his work and advice. Apart from that, he is thoroughly likeable and conscientious. Highly recommended.

The existing gas supply within the house failed its pressure test so a new one was required. Paul Harris fitted this in a very professional manner and with minimum disruption to the house. Details were good: pipe was correctly sleeved where it went through the brickwork. Old pipework was sealed off. A Good job. Price on the high side.

Paul installed a new boiler, filter and flue (removed the old system), added thermostatic valves to radiators, fixed a difficult to reach leak, which required kitchen units to be removed, sealed a leaking shower unit and added a spigot to a washing machine connection. The work was completed slightly ahead of time and to very professional standard. I had lots of questions throughout and Paul was always very patient when I'm sure I others would've perceived them annoying. The work did cost more than was originally quoted but Paul informed me immediately. All in all, I'm very satisfied and would happily use his services again.

I have used Paul a number of times for boiler services and other plumbing repairs. His work is very professional and he is prompt, courteous and pleasant to deal with.

Diagnosed problem quickly. Issue with Central heating 3 way valve which had been installed behind cupboard. Agreed to dismantle cupboard and put it back afterwards. Change valve, and then rebalanced system. Did quick and properly, and made sure all radiators were hot and and working properly. Did another quick job boxing in my pipes while he was there. Very helpful friendly and efficient.

I called Prestige Heating & Plumbing at approximately 8:00am on 5/11/18 to report that, since 4/11/18, my boiler had been making "unusual noises" and had now stopped working. Paul asked a few questions and confirmed that he would probably be able to fix it and that he could make a site visit later that morning. He arrived a bit later than originally advised because a previous job had overrun. However, he kept me informed of his new arrival time. He investigated and took on board the comments I made about the problem. Diagnosis was fairly quick and he was able to get the boiler back into use in a short time. He is friendly, professional and courteous. I'd definitely call him again if I have another boiler problem or plumbing / heating issue.

Paul removed blockage in the hot water supply to the shower and bath tap caused by lime scale while a plumber from John Mac Heating failed to remediate after two visits and costed us dearly. Paul gave me the impression he had both the knowledge & experience to carry out the works. I went for the more expensive Megaflo system after doing my research. Paul did an excellent job, taking away the old boiler, installing the new boiler plus a new 7 days timer. Paul's workmanship & attention to detail is outstanding. There were no extra's so the bill was exactly the same as the quote. I will use Paul's services in the future & highly recommend him.
