Hired for a full rewire a few months back. After them, our plasterer messed up a few things and some of our lights stopped working. PSC came out really quickly, fixed everything and only charged for the call-out fee. Highly recommend

Dean done a great job replacing some blown kitchen spotlights, a wall light switch and removal of an old disused wall thermostat in my house. I was the first call of the day and he turned up on time, was polite and very courteous and tidied up neatly after the works were completed. Professional job. Would definitely use PSC Electrical again.

We needed an emergency call out after returning from holiday and finding an issue with our sockets and fuse box. We called PSC Electrical and they were really helpful when booking over the phone, and someone arrived within an hour or so. The electrician, Marshall, was really helpful, he fixed the issue efficiently and was clear and reassuring in explaining the problems. We would definitely recommend PSC Electrical and will be returning for future needs.

Marshall installed an EV charger & consumer unit for me, he was tidy, on time & his work was excellent! He's a lovely fella too 😀..... the price was competitive. So all in all a great experience with these guys & I would recommend them without hesitation.

Replace old EV charger and all associated cables & boxes. First class service, team were on time, explained everything including how the mobile app works. Cleaned up after themselves and were a credit to the company.

The installer completed the installation of a solar panel system, which included panels, an inverter, a bird blocker system, and a power wall. Unfortunately, the work was riddled with issues. Initially, they quoted for 16 panels but managed to fit only 14, citing the impracticality of the original layout. While they reduced the cost of two panels in the revised quote, they overlooked deducting the associated labour costs, cables, and fixtures. The installation did not proceed smoothly. Panels were poorly aligned and lacked expansion gaps. The installer also mishandled the panels during installation, though luckily, they weren’t damaged. Additionally, the bird blocker system was ineffectively installed, leading to ongoing pigeon nesting issues. The inverter was faulty upon installation, causing over two weeks of harvested energy to be wasted by being sent to the grid rather than to the house. Only after persistent urging on my part did they address the issue, though the replacement inverter was inferior. Finally, the power wall was incompatible with the inverter, rendering the system inoperable during outages and wholly dependent on grid energy. While the team was friendly and quick to respond, including replacing the faulty inverter the post-installation monitoring was poor or non-existent, and several technical issues required my insistence to resolve.

Called PSC on a Thursday for a quote and decided to go ahead, to my surprise the work was carried out on the following day so I was really impressed by that The electrician came to my house and he was extremely professional and he certainly did a good job as he practically read my mine and installed an isolation switch that was needed but I did not know if it could be done or not as he just came to connect an extractor fan in the bathroom so expect a 100% good service if you use PSC Electrical

I had a battery installed for my solar panels, and the team were excellent. The pre-install visit was very thorough and we discussed all options and agreed on a solution; very accommodating and very good at listening to my ideas and concerns. The actual install was completed in a day, it all works perfectly, looks the business and the site was left tidy and clean like they'd never been there :-) Highly recommended.

I have used this firm several times in the last few months to carry out a variety of electrical work in my daughter's flat and their electricians have been professional, courteous and friendly and they are highly recommended.

After some research on decided to call PSC Electrical as they appeared to be a reputable trader. The wall cooker switch was flashing and needed to be investigated. 2 young guys from PSC attended and did not appear experienced as they spent time on phone to go through to a simple task of replacing the switch. One even suggested that the four year old circuit board needs changing. They said they have to go out to get the part and I suggested that I can get this from an electrical shop around the corner but they said they are not allowed. They got a basic cheap switch to replace and i was invoiced for two hours plus £24 for switch. I disputed the time and overpriced switch (would costs around £7).

Very friendly and professional team. We planned to place Powerwall inside of one of our laundry cabinets and were apprehensive about that. However, team really did what's needed to make us happy. Highly recommended.

Used PSC to have a solar system fitted. 12 panels plus battery. It's hard to find companies that have verifiable experience in solar and are honest about lead times for equipment etc. PSC were by far the most credible firm I got a quote from. And they more than lived up to expectations. The scaffolding went up on the planned date, they started the work on time, were clean and tidy, and provided good aftercare when something needed tweaking. The team - both the electricians and the people in the office - were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The system is delivering power beyond my expectations and I couldn't be happier.

During the initial consultation the benefits were clearly explained to me. The installation was carried out when expected and within the agreed timeframe. The fitters were, at all times, professional and pleasant to deal with and they left the work area spotless every evening.

PSC in July replaced our c12 years old fuse board with a 14 way RCBO Fuseboard and also carried out a safety assessment of our electricity, followed by some remedial work in September. We were so pleased with the quality of their work that we asked them to come back in October to fit a new floodlight in our garden replacing one that had become temperamental. Everything was done professionally and well. We’ll definitely use them again.

PSC installed a battery backed up solar system in my house. The initial installation went very smoothly and all installers were very friendly and polite at all times. However, PSC came into their own when we had some technical issues. They returned very quickly to try to fix the issues and were always very responsive to any communication. Problems all now fixed and I think the service was fantastic.

The inverter in my solar panel system packed up after 11 years. I contacted PCS Electrical on a Friday, they arranged a zoom meeting to confirm the work required on Monday and booked an appointment for the end of the week. They turned up on time Friday morning, and carried out the work very efficiently and professionally. I would use this firm again.

PSC electrical responded to our call to diagnose the problem with non-working solar pv panel installation and then fix it. They did a professional replacement of the inverter and switch and then went and above and beyond to repair the solar panel connection. Contact with the office by phone and email was always professional and polite and prompt.

I contacted PCS in the hope that they could complete an EICR at rather short notice as I had just moved to a new flat and wanted to have the assessment and any necessary works completed before making any other changes in the flat (fitted furniture etc.). They were able to oblige and found a time within a couple of days from my enquiry. I was thereafter very happy with the service I received. Not only did they arrive at the agreed time and complete the assessment efficiently, but the advice I received was very useful and they have been very quick to respond to my correspondence via email. I'm glad to have found such a professional service and I wouldn't think twice about contacting them should I require their services in the future.

Full rewire of 1st floor flat. Philip was professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable. He consulted me at every appropriate stage, often made excellent suggestions but also listened to what I wanted. The work was neat, to a high standard, and very fairly priced for the extensive work involved. His colleagues were of the same quality. I waited to leave a review, wanting to test out everything in the place over a period of time, and I am very satisfied with the results. I would recommend PSC Electrical to anyone considering any electrical work.

I contacted PSC on New Years day after the sockets in my kitchen stopped working, and they were able to come round the next day. They also contacted me via email, which I said was preferred! I was really impressed with the engineer who came round with his apprentice. He worked out what was wrong with my old fuse box very quickly, used existing parts he had in the van to fix the issue and also identified and fixed some other issues (where we'd used the fuses that were too high or low for the circuits) while he was there. He gave me a long-term recommendation for what I should do next, but was clear I did not have to take this recommendation if I didn't want to. I thought he explained the consequences of the recommendation/not following it very clearly, and I never felt pressured. Because the apprentice was there and learning, I also felt like I had even more trust in what he was saying because he wanted to teach the person with him the right thing to do. Communication was good throughout with both the engineer and the head office. I was also pleased I could pay by card rather than cash. Overall, I would recommend this trader highly and would be pleased to use them again.

This is the second time I've used PSC Electrical. They're a knowledgeable, friendly, punctual team and I'd recommend them to everyone. Philip is brilliant to deal with - quick to reply, polite and super helpful. If I ever need an electrical job doing, they're my go-to service.

On Sunday, I found that suddenly half of the lights and sockets at the house are not working. I tried to fiddle with the fuse box but didn't have luck. I called PSC electrical. Soon after one of the electrician (Phil) contacted me, listened to the problem and took me through to find the reason for fault. With his help, I could find the faulty device and socket and the power was restored at all other places. I had to call him three times. He was very patient, calm and professional and did not charge anything for phone advice. I would highly recommend PSC electricals.

I have used PSC before, though not for as large a job. I was very pleased again with what they did; it was all to a high standard, and they went to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything was right. When my elderly parents suffered an electrical problem we needed someone fast. We were quoted response times of between 11pm and 6am from their supplier who they have a maintenance contract with. Not a good response for a couple in their 80’s I believe. After some frantic call. PCS promised and responded within an hour and went out of their way to ensure my parents problem was rectified. They helped ensure their food and medication was not spoiled. Especially important for a parent with diabetes and Alzheimer’s. The electrician was very understanding and professional. He set my parent’s minds at rest and explained what he was doing and why, as he worked. His post work advice was fair and informative. I could not have asked for a better service at the price, which remained true to their initial quote. PCS will be my first call for any electrical work. The cliché first impressions are lasting impressions is true.
