We had drainage blockage causing water to gather on the balcony above our front door and then in recent heavy rain leak into house. We always use Putney Plumbers but although booked to come a few days in the meantime hired another local firm as the matter was urgent…..they were unable to solve it and we were getting very anxious. Then Putney Plumbers drainage expert Barry turned up days early and solved the problem swiftly and effectively….naturally we were greatly relieved. It confirmed our opinion that Putney Plumbers are the firm we would always use and recommend…..polite,friendly,professional and always do an excellent job.

The work involved the replacement of the main soil pipe and the re-routing of the plumbing for a replacement WC, which also formed part of the work. The job was completed on time and on budget. Full praise for the man who did the work. There was an admin issue concerning the correct new WC but this was solved to my satisfaction. This is why I have rated customer service as 4 star.

Putney Plumbers came to fix an issue which, although it turned out to be simple, had already had one (different) plumber look at it. I had an airlock in my system which caused my bathroom tap and toilet to stop working. The engineer cleared the pipe, taught me how to do it myself in the future and also fitted a new tap as the old one was completely blocked with residue from the flat's water tank. He also helpfully wrote up the fact that the significant residue may have caused the airlock which I passed on to my flat management who have now inspected and scheduled a clean of the tank. The airlock has happened since but I've now been able to clear it myself. Thank you!

I was looking for an established, reliable, and reliably priced local plumber for a small job (changing a kitchen tap), and found Putney Plumbers online. The office-based staff were efficient and helpful (Tracy and Stacey), and Richard (the engineer) arrived on time and completed the work within the hour, and without fuss. I'm delighted to have found a great local firm, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I've already recommended Putney Plumbers to a neighbour.

This Autumn we had our boiler serviced by Rhys from Putney Plumbers Ltd. He came back the following week to change a part and then a few weeks later to flush out the radiators. Rhys was probably in our house for approximately 10 hours in all. His work was thorough and he was very helpful in doing a few additional jobs in the house, eg. tightening up the loo seats. The door of the cupboard where the boiler is kept was too tight for him to take the cover off the boiler - he was very helpful in making alternative arrangements. I would definitely use Putney Plumbers Ltd again, and hope that Rhys will service our boiler next year.

Our Putney Plumber arrived on time. We had a new washing machine fitted by big retailers. They had forgotten to put the washer in the hose between machine and drainage, so was leaking heavily. Rhys immediately identified the issue and stopped the leak. He also checked for other leaks while there. All was completed within an hour. Very happy with the outcome, price was reasonable, and of course happy to give work to honest local tradespeople. Highly recommended.

I had a leak in the bathroom and thought it was from the wash basin area. Mark, the plumber though quickly identified that the problem was a leak in the cistern. He immediately suspected that it was a part that needed to be replaced but the biggest problem was getting the cistern away from the tiled area. Through his skill he was able to do so. Mark left the bathroom clean and tidy and kept me informed at all times regarding progress. I recommend this company
