Annual boiler service completed by young heating engineer who installed it five years ago. He is prompt, friendly, efficient, helpful. A pleasant tradesman to come to the house. I trust his work. No hesitation in recommending him and the firm.

I started using Putney Plumbers two years ago after a different company left me with half my heating out of order. Since then I have used them for boiler servicing and any other plumbing problems. This year I could hear my boiler pump on when it was not programmed to be on, and nothing was hot. I called our regular Putney Plumbers plumber, and he identified an obscure valve problem and since he changed that valve successfully, without having to drain the system. After a string of unreliable companies, it is good to know that I can rely on Putney Plumbers.

Arrived on time and completed work in a professional manner. We have used them for a number of years and have always been pleased with there work.

Mark came and lifted the tiles on the bathroom floor, and moved the toilet to find the source of the leak, which was the outflow from the toilet (as a result of a poor fitting carried out some years ago). He worked out the best way to sort out the problem, which involved fitting a longer outflow pipe into the lead piping outside. Mark was very helpful and clear in explaining the cause of the leak and the solution. Could have been a very messy job, but he managed to lift the floor tiles with minimum damage. It needed a total of three visits to do the job, to allow time for tile fixings to set properly etc. All visits carried out as scheduled, all the work was very tidy and we are very happy with the result!

Had a leaky kitchen sink. Was easy and quick to book. Great service and better value! Richard is the man!

We called Putney Plumbers because we needed work done to our boiler flue. Sebastian the Gas Safe Engineer came and gave a quote and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done. He came the following week to complete the work, all to budget. He was efficient and clearly knew what he was doing, unlike some plumbers we've had before, we recommend Putney Plumbers and will use them again should we require a plumber.

The service received by Seb was excellent. There were a number is issues with my boiler and plumbing and over a couple of visits Seb was able to rewire the boiler and replace leaking parts. He also re-built a shower unit that had become faulty. The quality of service was excellent and Seb took time to explain exactly what he was doing. He also offered advice and answered questions in between his visits when the central heating was playing up. I would highly recommend Putney Plumbers based on my experience.

We found Putney Plumbers via Which Trusted Traders. That was many years ago and we have had no reason to go elsewhere. This time it was our annual boiler service - for which they send out reminders so you don't forget! Ernie - our usual plumber - knows his job, is friendly, gets on with it quickly and, as always, carries out the service without any disruption. The company always lets you know the cost, where possible, and gives you an hour slot for when the plumber will arrive.

Richard came at the appointed time to install basin taps. He explained what he was going to do and how long it was likely to take. He was tidy and did not leave any mess. We have used Putney Plumbers many times and have always received good service and he was very courteous.

We had drainage blockage causing water to gather on the balcony above our front door and then in recent heavy rain leak into house. We always use Putney Plumbers but although booked to come a few days in the meantime hired another local firm as the matter was urgent…..they were unable to solve it and we were getting very anxious. Then Putney Plumbers drainage expert Barry turned up days early and solved the problem swiftly and effectively….naturally we were greatly relieved. It confirmed our opinion that Putney Plumbers are the firm we would always use and recommend…..polite,friendly,professional and always do an excellent job.

The work involved the replacement of the main soil pipe and the re-routing of the plumbing for a replacement WC, which also formed part of the work. The job was completed on time and on budget. Full praise for the man who did the work. There was an admin issue concerning the correct new WC but this was solved to my satisfaction. This is why I have rated customer service as 4 star.

On the very day my husband left for Italy he noticed the cloakroom lavatory pan was leaking and that something was amiss in the cistern. What to do? No problem, call Putney Plumbers…….who came, saw and fixed - cleanly, efficiently and with courtesy and skill. As usual. Thank you.

Putney Plumbers came to fix an issue which, although it turned out to be simple, had already had one (different) plumber look at it. I had an airlock in my system which caused my bathroom tap and toilet to stop working. The engineer cleared the pipe, taught me how to do it myself in the future and also fitted a new tap as the old one was completely blocked with residue from the flat's water tank. He also helpfully wrote up the fact that the significant residue may have caused the airlock which I passed on to my flat management who have now inspected and scheduled a clean of the tank. The airlock has happened since but I've now been able to clear it myself. Thank you!

I was looking for an established, reliable, and reliably priced local plumber for a small job (changing a kitchen tap), and found Putney Plumbers online. The office-based staff were efficient and helpful (Tracy and Stacey), and Richard (the engineer) arrived on time and completed the work within the hour, and without fuss. I'm delighted to have found a great local firm, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I've already recommended Putney Plumbers to a neighbour.

This Autumn we had our boiler serviced by Rhys from Putney Plumbers Ltd. He came back the following week to change a part and then a few weeks later to flush out the radiators. Rhys was probably in our house for approximately 10 hours in all. His work was thorough and he was very helpful in doing a few additional jobs in the house, eg. tightening up the loo seats. The door of the cupboard where the boiler is kept was too tight for him to take the cover off the boiler - he was very helpful in making alternative arrangements. I would definitely use Putney Plumbers Ltd again, and hope that Rhys will service our boiler next year.

I have used Putney plumbers over the last few months in the refurbishment of my flat (installation of new radiators, new kitchen sink, fixes and full refurbishment of my bathroom). Our Putney Plumber arrived on time. We had a new washing machine fitted by big retailers. They had forgotten to put the washer in the hose between machine and drainage, so was leaking heavily. Rhys immediately identified the issue and stopped the leak. He also checked for other leaks while there. All was completed within an hour. Very happy with the outcome, price was reasonable, and of course happy to give work to honest local tradespeople. Highly recommended.

I had a leak in the bathroom and thought it was from the wash basin area. Mark, the plumber though quickly identified that the problem was a leak in the cistern. He immediately suspected that it was a part that needed to be replaced but the biggest problem was getting the cistern away from the tiled area. Through his skill he was able to do so. Mark left the bathroom clean and tidy and kept me informed at all times regarding progress. I recommend this company

My boiler shut down over the Bank Holiday Weekend. I could not get it to re-light. Ernie More attended within 2 hours of my phone call. Problem identified and sorted efficiently. He then offered to check my immersion heater when I made a passing comment about it and sorted that too. Thank you

I had issues with 2 older leaking toilets, so contacted Putney Plumbers who responded promptly. Advised best long-term solution was to replace with new ones which were recommended by Putney Plumbers. They turned out to have manufacturers faults - and were replaced with no quibbles by the manufacturer. Tony from Putney Plumbers then re-fitted at no extra charge to me in order to see the job completed satisfactorily, which I very much appreciated. Also, the reception team also responded quickly and efficiently. I recommend them as it's important to me to support local industry!

We needed a new expansion vessel & pressure relief valve, plus two new radiators. All done in the time they stated. Very efficient and tidy. We now have heating throughout the house and it's quiet (no more gurgling radiators). We have used them for several years and will continue to use Putney Plumbers.

All work carried out satisfactorily. Workmen arrived on time and work carried out promptly and successfully. Certification signed off. No mess left behind.

I have depended on Putney Plumbers on a number of occasions over the past 5 years, and have found them to be professional and reliable. Work done has included replacement of combi boiler; annual boiler checks and gas safety certification; replacement of bathroom basin and kitchen tap; and most recently identifying cause of a leaking shower which required replacement of the ceramic disc cartridge. Their quotation for the new Worcester boiler was honest and competitive. Plumbing services don't come cheap in London but Putney Plumbers are transparent about their hourly charge. The competent plumbers are backed up by an excellent, helpful and efficient office team. So far nothing has gone wrong, and I can thoroughly recommend them.

My mother had her boiler replaced and the hot water cylinder. She was very pleased with the standard of the work and the speed and the fact that everything was cleaned up afterwards. It was completed within schedule.

Putney Plumbers have looked after us for the last ten years or so. They have looked after our house (which probably has the record for the number of floods) and six rental properties. They are unfailingly courteous and helpful and I know I can rely on them even when I am away and my tenants need help. We know most of their engineers and quite a few of the people in their office and I cannot fault any of them.

I have dealt with Putney Plumbers for over 20 years. They have done small jobs and full installation jobs for me. I have recently moved and we are in the process of doing a complete house refit of the plumbing and heating services. I have always found them to be trustworthy and very willing to explain what a particular job entails. The office support staff are always very quick to respond and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I had some taps that were not working, which Putney Plumbers repaired. They fixed the problem, but said I would need new taps and for that I would need a new worktop, draining board and cupboard as well, due to the position of the taps and pipework. In order to get this work done, I contacted Putney Plumbers who said they would need to send somebody to quote for the work first. A man came, measured up, took photos and said he would get the quote to me. But nothing happened. I sent two chasing emails but all to no avail. Six weeks later - and still not a word. Based on my experience I do not believe the company is a trader that I could trust or recommend. They could have just told me that they were too busy to do the work or just didn't want to do the job - but they didn't. I ended up wasting time, waiting for them, before getting another company - who were able to quote for and complete the work all within a matter of days

They are firmly in my telephone book for plumbers. A very reliable and helpful company. The ladies who answer the phone are very considerate and accommodating. If my mother needs a plumber, I always contact them. Would highly recommend them. Thank you and keep up the professionalism.

I found Putney Plumbers through the Bosch Worcester website and sent an email requesting a quote. They phoned me the next day with a quote and followed this up with an email that set out the charges clearly. They were able to get an Engineer out to me within a day and the engineer (Ernie) had completed a service and fixed the fault within an hour. I would recommend!

Extremely satisfied with this company. Very professional from start to finish. Resolved plumbing issues with leaking bath waste that required replacing the original copper one which had a small hole. This was in very compact, awkward conditions. Barry, the engineer who attended, was punctual,knowledgeable and friendly explaining the situation throughout. I used Putney Plumbers to fix a problem with my central heating - some of the radiators were not getting hot. A different company had quoted £1200 involving some fairly radical work to solve the problem. Putney Plumbers suggested a more simple solution, and fixed the problem at a third of the cost. Central heating now working fine. I would be happy to use them again.
