Our experience of the installation of our solar panels and accompanying battery was nothing but positive. From initial discussions with Juliet and her team, we soon arrived at the ideal configuration for the system to offer us the best possible return on our significant investment. Installation took place about a month later and was truly seamless - scaffolding went up rapidly, roof panels were installed within a couple of days and the battery installed immediately after. All work was carried out to a very high standard, and we were consulted about positioning of cabling, battery and control box at every stage. Even when there was an issue with regards earthing, a problem inherent to the sandy soil of our location rather than the equipment PV Solar Installers supplied, this was fastidiously followed through until a satisfactory reading was achieved. At every stage of the process PV Solar Installers staff were polite, helpful and a delight to have around. Already our system has started to pay it's way, having become over 80% grid independent in the delightful early spring weather we are currently experiencing. Although far from the cheapest quote we received, we are certain that the additional costs over other larger suppliers have been more than worthwhile, offering peace of mind whilst working with a long standing and trustworthy local business. An unconditional recommendation from us.

A battery was installed at my house and works perfectly, just as planned! I value the patience with which Juliet listened to my needs, the good advice she gave me on the different makes and their products, and not least, the good price she offered. Robin, who made the initial site inspection and the final commissioning, gave me good advice throughout, explaining clearly how the hardware and the battery management system work, giving me peace of mind and leading to the choice of a good location for the battery. The electricians worked efficiently and tidily. They upgraded the tails of my old fusebox that was not part of the work schedule for free. Highly recommended for listening, excellent advice and a job well done and on schedule.

6 solar panels were installed in the garden on a metal structure as well as 1 inverter and batteries with another inverter were installed in the cellar. Work started on the fixed day and PSI did not leave the site until everything was completed and tested. PSI employed a gardener who made sure that the impact on the garden was minimal, the borders left in good order and who even fixed some of the fences. The team was efficient and very friendly. The billing exactly corresponded to the initial quote. PSI provided me with an excellent service.

Initial consultations a little brief, but sufficient. Very clean quick considerate install on the day - very impressive. There were major teething problems with the GivEnergy product, which were not the fault of the installers, for whom they were a new phenomenon. But their communication could have been courteous and their response more rapid. (In other words, if the customer says there's a problem, believe them!) After three weeks of issues, they were all fixed, since when everything has been working perfectly, and exactly as promised in the initial consultation. If issues arise you should let them know immediately and firmly. And I repeat that the issues we had were with the product, not the installers: not their fault. With that single caveat, I am happy to recommend these very nice people.

I needed to have an EV charger installed a distance away from the Electricity meter which required some work running a wire around the house including some trench work. I was very particular about the appearance of the work as I did not want to damage the aesthetics of the house. PV Solar were really professional and reassuring. They were very knowledgable and visited the property twice before doing the job, the second time with the engineer who would be installing the EV Charger. They answered my questions about the various Chargers and configurations I could go for, I wanted to ensure that whatever we did was as future proof as possible. They quickly understood the brief and came up with some excellent ideas to ensure we achieved the best outcome possible. On the day of the work they were punctual, professional and very patient with me as they went about running the necessary wires. The work was done to a very high standard and I was very pleased. I also had quotes from other installers and found that PV Solar's quote was very reasonable.

We had a land-based solar array installed. It is 6 kw. PV Solar Installers did the necessary site surveys, applied for planning permission and did all relevant work. Their subcontractors who installed the system were delightful as well as efficient. The weather was not good but they worked throughout the rain to get the work done.
