All engineers wear uniform, carry ID Badges, are CRB checked and trained in Health & Safety, Drain & Sewer Cleaning, CCTV Surveys, Drain Lining and hold valid CSCS cards.

Unsatisfactory Service – Call-Out Fee with No Resolution
I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent service provided at my property. While the engineers arrived on time and were polite, the overall experience fell far short of expectations—especially considering the cost. Upon arrival, they spent approximately 15 minutes attempting to clear a pipe before informing us that no further work could be done during that visit. They advised that a separate quote and another appointment would be required for any further work. This came as a surprise, as I had already agreed to the terms that any work beyond the initial hour or requiring extra parts would be charged accordingly. When my wife asked if anything else could be done, the engineers responded that it would need to be treated as a new job—effectively making any further action impossible during that visit. As a result, I paid £216 inc VAT ,15 minutes of unsuccessful work with no resolution to the problem. I did not expect a company listed as a trusted expert to offer only a brief attempt, justify a substantial call-out fee, and then leave the issue unresolved.

I am confused to read this as when we quoted you for the works we did explain that £180 +VAT was for call out and attempt to clear. Our engineers attended disconnected the NRV to then use handheld in an attempt to clear. They then showed you that the pipe and NRV was 100% full of hardened limescale. This is not a normal blockage but is due to lack of servicing so were unable to clear with machinery and needs further quote which was explained on site and then a further quote sent within 2 days (with a £100 discount due to the initial call out) along with pictures and explaining that the machine is a Saniflo Broy and the installation of the discharge pipe is wrong. This is taped up, using tight knuckle bends and various different pipe sizes. This should discharge into a 22mm discharge pipework. The oversized pipework, which is not specified in Saniflo’s specification of installation, must be removed as this is making the machine work harder and is causing the mechanical issues. It also voids the warranty on the machinery . We have pictures showing all this too and trackers on our vehicles shows that they were at the property for 54mins not 15 as you state. Should you wish to discuss this matter with our Director, please get in touch and we can arrange this for you and get the situation resolved but think unsatisfactory service and no resolution is unjustified when we have the proof to show otherwise.

Moved into a property and after a couple weeks of heavy rain noticed one of my drains was fully blocked and with mud. Contact the team and Quality Drainage and their service was friendly, efficient from first call to completing the job. On the day, the team called ahead with their updated eta. Once onsite they explained what they needed to do and got on with the task. I would have no hesitation in recommending Quality Drainage After moving into our new home, I discovered that one of the drains was completely blocked with mud after a few weeks of heavy rain. Not exactly the kind of surprise you want! I reached out to Quality Drainage, and their service was friendly, efficient from first call to completing the job. The team was not only professional but genuinely friendly, which made the whole process a lot less stressful. On the day of the appointment, they called ahead with an updated ETA, which I really appreciated. When they arrived, they took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and got to work quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Quality Drainage to anyone—excellent service from start to finish!

Woke up to our main drain being blocked and overflowing onto our patio. Called Quality Drainage and there was no engineers available but Ben rang around and arranged for Ollie and his partner to come at short notice. They cleared the blockage and cleaned up the patio in no time at all and the cost was as quoted. Both men were friendly, helpful and polite. So glad that I called Quality Drainage Company.

A professional service from beginning to end. A cancellation meant they could come on the same day. The blocked drain was cleared at the back of my property and the drain flushed through from the front as well to effectively clear the drainpipe along it's full length under the building. A very professional and polite crew who cleaned up after themselves too. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Ollie and his assistant were efficient and thorough. They took great care to lift up the existing gully and patio stones, they made sure there was a good fitting to the pipe before cementing the area back and doing a very clean tidy up. They were also keen to ensure we were happy with everything before we left. Have asked them to quote for fitting a new soil pipe for a downstairs loo.

We experienced problems with our drains in May and October which were initially resolved by a plumber. On the second occasion, the plumber suggested that I contact a drainage company if the problem occurred again as there could be something more serious that might need investigating. In less than two weeks it happened again - as before, the first ‘symptom’ was water bubbling in the toilet when water was being emptied out from the bath. Things got gradually worse. I checked out Which Trusted Traders and gave Quality Drainage a call. They came later that day and did a thorough job clearing the drains. As the drains were shared with neighbours they advised me that Thames Water might be responsible for the drains. I had assumed that it was our responsibility! I was keen, however, to find out what was causing the problem. At my request, they did a CCTV survey and the cause of the problem was identified. They provided a quote to do the work should we need to use them to resolve the problem. However it looks like we might not need to do so having contacted Thames Water.

I called quality drainage on Tuesday and they came in the afternoon, found the problem and sorted it, also advised that there were some caps missing in the manhole. Returned today (Thursday) and completed the job and also did a CCTV check. I found all the engineers very polite and explained what they were doing. I was very pleased with the service.
