Simon attended promptly to our problem of a blocked drain, quickly identified the area and cause for the blockage, cleared it quickly, applied a power water jet to flush the whole system to the manhole, inspected the inside of the pipes using a remote camera, all within one hour. I emailed Rapid Repair Draincare about an intermittent problem with my downstairs toilet. They responded very quickly and arranged an appointment for the following morning. Rapid Repair Draincare quickly responded to my call for help with a slow running toilet. Simon and colleague quickly found a blockage caused by the ingress of tree roots. A future date was arranged and work to remove the roots and reline the pipe was subsequently carried out. The team were able to share the camera pictures of the drain problems and the repairs once carried out. Work was done competently and area tidied and reinstated satisfactorily.

Our toilet was repeatedly blocked and would not flush away. Using his drain camera Simon quickly diagnosed the problem to be a build up of limescale in the pipe. He took the toilet out, removed the limescale and put the toilet back, all in an hour and half. He explained what he was doing, made very little mess and the cost was very reasonable. I contacted Rapid Repair Drain Care at 8.15 in the morning, and by 3.15, thanks to a fortunate cancellation, the foul-smelling problem was totally solved. It was easy getting through to book a repair to our outside blocked drain for a large Victorian house. The drain, which is down the steps leading to the cellar had clearly been blocked for some time, but we had not noticed until we gone into the cellar. My efforts to clear it with a plunger had only made the smell and mess even worse. Simon and his assistant, Az, arrived when we said we would and quickly got to work. Some sort of plant life had got going in the drain, which had helped trap the usual kitchen that deposits. This foul stuff was quickly cleared number high-pressure hose was used to totally clear the main drain. The gallant crew also cleared the adjoining drain and willingly cleared up the mess that had been made by the overflow and my efforts at unblocking. All was completed within 44 minutes and we agreed first-hour charge. The whole operation was done with politeness, consideration and good-humour. I would recommend this firm for any drainage work.

I was able to watch the drain survey and have what was being seen explained, identifying the necessary repairs. I watched most of the repairs being completed. We had a street drain that needing clearing & unblocking before new tarmac was laid. We discovered a blocked drain on friday morning and searched the web for solutions. Well known names were not able to help before monday at the earliest. I remembered my local advertiser magazine and found Rapid Repaid Drain Care listed. I was impressed to see the Which logo and duly gave them a call. I immediately spoke to Simon who said he would call after lunch. I simply needed to send him my contact details, which I did. He said he would send me a message when he was setting off. I got the message just after lunch with an estimated time of 26 minutes to arrival, complete with a tracking link. I hate waiting for contractors so this was fabulous. To be entirely fair he was 28 minutes!! But my house is tricky to find! He immediately pointed out that because it was a shared drain Yorkshire Water would clear it for free and that he'd leave if that was what I wanted. Such honesty - Simon cleared the drain quickly, which is what I'd asked for and was happy to pay for, but he then proceeded to examine my drain and explain what I should do next, including providing contact details for Yorkshire Water. Simon carried out the cleaning of the blocked kitchen drain. Maximum time 30 minutes. He said he would be with us in 20 minutes and he was. Most unusual but very welcomed. After he had cleared the drain he used CCTV to check his work and found a cracked drain and provided the phone number to the water company. Simon said because the drain was shared, with a neighbour, there should be no cost to us. In this day & age a brilliant service.
