I had been unable to contact several other businesses that I had contact details for. I was pleased that they were available within a timeframe that suited me to do the work that I needed done. The electrician turned up on time on the appointed day and set to work. I needed to have an electrical socket moved prior to having fitted furniture installed. The job was slightly more complicated than I had at first imagined, but that wasn't a problem. The electrician came across to me as being competent and professional, so I felt confident that his work would be of good quality. I'm happy with the work that he did, and I am also pleased to provide this positive review.

A throughly deserved 5 stars! Rob provided a great service from my initial contact through to the carrying out of remedial works and rewire at my property. A full electrical inspection was undertaken to determine the scope of the works followed by the timely provision of an estimate. Rob is very approachable and was happy to talk me through the proposed works and address any queries. Steve was fantastic on site and worked extremely hard. He was very accommodating and worked with minimal disruption to the electrical supply and contents within my home. I needed to get work done quickly to be able to rent my flat out, and after a bad experience with another electrician, RCP were great. Rob was really clear and reassuring on the phone and came round quickly to look at what needed doing. They ended up saving me hundreds of pounds as some of the work recommended by the previous electrician was actually unnecessary. After having an initial electrical inspection undertaken by RCP Electrics, I asked them to come back in to rectify some minor faults found on the original inspection and to bring our electrics up to the current electrical standard. I was very impressed by the initial testing that was carried out which was very thorough and was equally impressed when the company came back shortly afterwards, to carry out the remedial works. This company always strives to provide excellent customer service and I will definitely be using them in future. Rob was commissioned to swap out about 30 halogen to led ceiling lights, replace wall up-lighters, hang pendants replace dimmers and resolve some circuitry that was behaving weirdly and not working. Steve came around early and completed everything in a day. He was polite, easy to talk to about the job (and was really pleasant but focused). I was impressed with how much he achieved in the time. And he was tidy. He was also diligent with fire regulations, pointing out how one existing light was in too small a space and had previously scorched a ceiling beam. This we agreed should be isolated and not installed. It was not cheap but for me, it was good value as I had imagined maybe two people given the number of small tasks.
