I have used RCP several times and have always been impressed by their efficient and professional work. On this occasion the problem was a faulty two-way switch, but it wasn't clear to start with where the actual fault was. Just over a year ago they were here to check all the electrics, upgrade certain things, put in a new fuse box and so on and provide a new certificate. As always the work was done tidily and considerately and could not have been done better. I'll happily recommend them any time.

I used RCP installations to add power for an integrated dishwasher. Rob was extremely professional and provided a quote in advance for the works. The work was completed as discussed and exactly as required, as well as cleaning up after! Excellent price, communication and service. Have already asked for another job to be done!

These guys are great, Rob runs the show, and has clearly cloned Steve and Dan, who carried out most of the work at our property . I needed a re wire after 60 years and had all sorts of hogwash from estimators and finally found the A team a team who I felt i could put my trust in. They came to the property and carried out a condition survey which meant i only had to have the work done which was really required, and to the standards actually required by the regulations..they tested the loadings on the circuits and looked after all the technical details while consulting on where the extra sockets etc needed to go. They were fast and efficient in providing the estimate. I can honestly say that nothing you will present them with is a problem and they take all the struggle out of getting things done, into the bargain they are a courteous crew....value for money ...highly recommended. We needed someone to install new LED light fittings and dimmer switches as well as fix lighting that was no longer working. We were very pleased to have Robert Prior doing the job. Having recently moved in to my property I am experiencing a lot of contractors, it is a joy to find one I would happily have back. Having undertaken a complete electrical review of the flat, and uncovered a litany of issues, all were rectified without fuss or damage, quickly and also in a way which cut down on the cost to me. Highly recommended.

I phoned Rob at RCB as the oven in my newly refurbished flat was not switching on and I felt the quote I had received from another electrician was too much. Rob was completely up front about the cost of a call out and that he couldn't quote without seeing the oven. He then talked me through checking the wiring on the phone free of charge and I managed to fix the problem with his help in under 10 minutes! Amazing service and I am really grateful for your time, personal service and serious money saved.

Arrived on time and got on with the work straight away of installing a couple of outside lights and fixing a problem with the power supply to the garage. Gave good advice on another job I was considering having done. I would definitely use this company again.

I called out RCP Installations when one of my lighting circuits kept tripping and an electrician friend of mine was unable to find the fault. RCP came promptly and found and rectified the fault quickly. Impressed with their service I asked them for a quote to install some LED spots in my lounge and bedroom ceilings. I was happy with the quote and when the lads came back on the agreed date they carried out the installation with a high degree of skill and attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the way they left the bedroom, after lifting the carpet and taking up the flooring to install the spots in the lounge ceiling below, when they relaid the carpet they left the room immaculately as though nothing had ever been touched. Although the job took them a bit longer than they had expected, due to my flooring being nailed down rather than screwed and the complexities of my switchboard, they still cheerfully completed the job carefully and conscientiously leaving everything working perfectly and to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them as extremely competent workmen who don't cut corners but ensure everything is carried out to the highest possible standards.

This is the second time I have used RCP Installations Ltd, and Rob and his team have been very helpful and co-operative on both occasions. This time they carried out remedial work on my late Mother's flat to obtain the EICR Safety Certificate. This work was completed punctually and efficiently and the flat was left in a very tidy state. Thoroughly recommend Rob and his team.

Service was very efficient from quote to completion. Rob came round to view everything before sending the quotation the next day. The quote was very similar to others I had received, but Rob had something about it that made me feel assured that the work would be completed to a high standard. I wasn't disappointed. As a landlord I only recently became aware of the new mandatory electrical safety inspection needed for rental properties which came into effect on the 1st July 2020. I had tenants ready to move in, in a few weeks and was really up against it to obtain a landlord domestic EICR (Electrical Inspection Condition Report) and certification. I called Rob Prior at RCP Installations Ltd (found via https://trustedtraders.which.co.uk/businesses/rcp-installations/ with amazing reviews) who thoroughly explained to me what the new regulations meant for me as a landlord and also what was involved in an EICR as I was completely new to this. Rob also understood that I was up against it as I had new tenants about to move in and he managed to fit me in at short notice which I really appreciated. After the thorough inspection was carried out Rob provided me with an NICEIC valid EICR which listed the remedial works that need to be done for compliance, Rob also explained to me that I was not obligated to carry out the works with him and I could chose another contractor if I wished it which I thought was really honest of him to do. I decided to carry out all remedial works with RCP because the pricing was really fair and also I had complete confidence in them from the really professional service I had so far. Amazing work at an incredibly decent price. RCP Installations came in and replaced almost every socket our home. We were running extensions and extra plugs all over as most rooms only had two single sockets. Now we have as many as we need in each room, several with USB charging points in each room. In addition we now have an outside socket, two new light fittings. As our house is old and large getting broadband in the only place that works as a home office was difficult. With a minimum of fuss and incredible speed the electrician put in a cable - this included lifting floorboards and drilling through ceilings. In less than two days an amazing amount of work done. Electrician left things incredible tidy and was a pleasure to have in the house. I totally and whole heartedly recommend RCP Installations. Trustworthy, great value for money and knowledgeable.

I commissioned RCP Electrics to fit a ceramic hob in an awkward space on my worktop. They were excellent - arrived bang on time really knew their stuff, checked everything was working and tidied up after themselves. I've already recommended them to friends - so good to find a reliable electrician.

I've used RCP a couple of times now, once in a business context and once for work at my home. Both of the people we met were courteous and meticulous, helping us get around some electrical problems that less professional people had created over the years, offering up ideas and always being transparent about costs. I would highly recommend RCP installations, having used them for a second time now. My electrics recently tripped out twice and I rang Rob in a panic. He kindly took the time to explain (correctly) what he though the problem may be and said he would send Steve to have a look. Steve arrived at the arranged time and quickly diagnosed and repaired the fault. This involved lifting floor boards to access a cable but he took care not to cause any damage or untidiness. He is also very pleasant and helpful. RCP installations are fairly priced, will quote for work beforehand and there are no hidden extra charges. Can't praise them enough.

A throughly deserved 5 stars! Rob provided a great service from my initial contact through to the carrying out of remedial works and rewire at my property. A full electrical inspection was undertaken to determine the scope of the works followed by the timely provision of an estimate. Rob is very approachable and was happy to talk me through the proposed works and address any queries. Steve was fantastic on site and worked extremely hard. He was very accommodating and worked with minimal disruption to the electrical supply and contents within my home. Several small jobs done for us with great can do attitude, and amazingly useful advice and problem solving. Super aftercare and always turned up on time. Nothing was too much to ask and always done with professional thoroughness.

Since moving to the area in February 22, we have used RCP on 3 or 4 occasions. In each case the work has been carried out to our full satisfaction, has been punctual and friendly. This was fairly minor in finding and fixing a fault as well as replacing a couple of light connections. Equally important, we consider it to be good value for money. RCP will be our go to electrical services company for any future requirements that may occur, and we have no hesitation in recommending them most highly.
