Rob's team changed our troublesome halogen ceiling lights in the kitchen and bathroom to LED units. Rob was very good to deal with: prompt, straightforward and clear quote, fair price, and the job done on the date he promised. Standard of work was very good - clean and tidy throughout and nice people doing the work. Would definitely use RCP Installations again.

We had a problem with no lighting on the first floor and no power downstairs. We agreed a time for Rob to visit and he arrived on time and explained clearly what he would do and what the charges might be. Rob then began to check all the circuits and, after about an hour, tracked the problem to a junction box in the loft. A few repairs later and all electrics were restored. We have used RCP before and have always had good and reliable service. Rob and his team are very experienced and professional, whilst being personable and hardworking, and we will continue to call them for any electrical work needed in the future. Asked RCP to come round to do an EICR survey of our new property. The two guys came round and did a fantastically quick yet thorough job. The report was sent to me super quick and a follow up was booked equally quickly to do the remedial work. And, when I forgot to buy one of the items I was told to - Rob popped round to install it for free after I told them I had it. RCP are the only electricians we've ever hired as first time homeowners and hopefully the only ones we'll ever use!

The work carried out by RCP installations was fantastic, the job was to install a cooker circuit from fuse board, cable routed from garage to kitchen, and install a new electric oven. All work was carried out very professionally and very tidy and clean by two very pleasant chaps. Will definitely use this company again for any electrical work in the future.

I would love to commend this Team on the excellent works carried out at my Barber Shop with the installation of 2 Ring Security Cameras. The guys not only did a spot on job but they were so open to assisting me with other little things. I contacted RCP Installations to get some work done on my bedroom lights. I needed old light fittings and pull cord switch removed and to create a new central light fixture as well as adding a double plug socket. Rob responded promptly and called back when he said he would to arrange initial visit to give quote for works. The quote was professional and I thought very reasonable. The works were scheduled quickly and Steve who came to do the work on the day made everything seem very simple even though it involved going into the loft. I was very impressed with Steve's work and he insisted on cleaning up after the works. Throughout communication was as promised and I had complete confidence from meeting Rob that the works would be done to a high standard, which they were. I would thoroughly recommend RCP Installations from my experience.

Replaced 2 sets of ceiling lights that had been there for many years. Electrician arrived early, very pleasant and knowledgeable, completed job in full and assisted with settings. Definitely recommended

I contacted RCP Electrics on 12th January as we wanted some light fittings installed in our dining and living rooms. We also had a problem where some lights were not working in some rooms downstairs. They sent an Electrician called Steve on 13th January and he was able to install the fittings and sort out the lights that were not working, all within an hour, as agreed. Steve did a great job and we have not had any problems since. They came to our house quickly and were very efficient. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

RCP Installations undertook a condition survey of my home's electrics and undertook the required remedial works, which included a fuse board upgrade. The works were undertaken on the agreed dates and were charged in line with the estimates provided, which were very reasonable. RCP were very quick to respond to my initial contact and walked me through all the necessary works that were needed to be undertaken. Both Rob and Steve were friendly, informative and incredibly professional. I would highly recommend RCP Installations to anyone wishing to undertake electrical works or looking for some sound and honest advice.

RCP Electrics were professional and great to deal with from the outset. My Victorian flat needed a lot of work and Rob and Steve took real care to simply and clearly explain what would be required to meet present day standards (partial rewiring, replacing fuse board, replacing old cables, installing new plug points amongst other things) and check if I had any questions. I found their pricing fair and transparent. Steve was friendly, punctual, efficient and tidy. We're really happy with the work he has done (which included making some lovely pendant lights) and the works were designed to avoid damaging any of the original features. Steve was also very understanding when it came to working around our assorted clutter. I will definitely use again and recommend to others.

I have used Rob and his team a few times now, for a full electrical survey on a new house and then for follow-up appointments for the remedial works. Rob is always really responsive to my emails and quick to set up appointments. The work his team do is always top-notch and efficiently done, to schedule and on budget. They are brilliant at cleaning up after themselves so no mess is left behind even after difficult installations involving drilling through walls etc. Will use again.

I had some electrical issues in March 2024 and got in touch with RCP following the recommendation from my cousin who had some electrical work done in his house. On the day Stevie did all the necessary checks and was very professional, reliable and trustworthy. I was really grateful to find Rob. He explains what needs to be done, gives you an idea of cost and arrives on time. He leaves your home clean and tidy and it is lovely to find an electrician who you can trust and who knows what he is doing. I would always use him for any electrical work.

I had known Rob through work in the past and so called him when a so called friend overcharged me to replace a fuse box and left the job half done. Rob came to the rescue and got his guys Steve and Daniel to do the job properly. They went through all the sockets and fittings and we now have a old house with electrics we know are safe and certified. They could not be more helpful, putting extra sockets in where we wanted. They did their work to a good standard and left the place clean and tidy. They were a pleasure to have working around the house. I would recommend Rob and his team in an instance for any electrical work. You know the job is being done to the highest standard for the best price. use a cowboy and it will just cost you more in the long term.

Rob's men, Steve and Dan, are a great team; professional and friendly. During the first phase of the project they rewired the main house quickly and efficiently and came back when the extension was built to install the electrics in the new build area. We are very happy with the work they have completed and always felt confident that they had our best interests at heart; all our questions received an intelligent reply and their advice was always sound, based on professional knowledge and experience. The work was Part P certified and registered with the Council in accordance with the procedure; all the documentation provided was carefully and neatly completed and based on thorough and careful testing of the whole new system. We have no hesitation in recommending RCP installations to whom we are most grateful and will always use them in future.

There are so many electricians out there that do EICRs but finding one that is honest, meticulous, hardworking, efficient, polite, no-nonsense, reasonably priced and a very good communicator is rare. RCP Installations is the one. So if you are reading this, having read a number of other reviews for other electricians on Trusted Trader and are unsure whether to choose them - stop, save yourself some time and call them. You won't be disappointed. I contacted Rob back in July as I need to have an EICR for my flat - I was pretty sure there would be remedial works and I only had a small window of opportunity to have the works completed while the tenants were away. The whole process from initial inspection, diagnosis (of works), remedial works taking place to completion was straight forward. This is due to the excellent communication, flexibility and genuine honesty and interest to help/guide and get the job done. Both Rob and Steve just got on with it as you would expect professionals to, explaining everything as they went along (costs, recommendations, advice - for you to choose with no pressure). So if you are looking for an electrician just use them to save yourself some time, money and stress.

Rob and Steve did a fantastic job. We knew there were going to be quite a few electrical issues to resolve in our house. We started with Rob carrying out an electrical installation condition report - this was carried out with great attention to detail. Steve then rectified all of the issues found and the recommendations, including a fuse board upgrade. Despite the significant amount of work required and a few challenges on the day, everything was done to a high standard and for the price quoted. Rob and Steve explained everything very well and kept us informed throughout. I'm very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!
