Removals Expert Ltd

We went with Removals Expert because of the quote price and flexibility, however we now wish we'd gone elsewhere. From reading the other reviews we were expecting courtesy, care and professionalism, but what we got fell far short of these expectations. Here are just some of our experiences: - Despite repeated requests to part-disassemble a table, they insisted on wrapping it up and jamming it through a door. I took a video of this - I couldn't believe it. - They damaged the lino because one guy (!) was dragging the washing machine across it by himself. I have photos. - Generally poor on-the-day customer service; one guy got quite aggressive on a number of occasions - They weren't briefed properly by their office as they weren't prepared for certain things (e.g. taking TVs). When I said they would need to take things from the loft the guy got aggressive again and said I would have to take it down myself because they weren't allowed in the loft. I phoned the head office and they confirmed this was not true. - Their furniture disassembly service was slapdash. Several times they sheared the heads off screws by using a power drill, so I had to twist them out with pliers. When I complained the guy said 'just buy new screws - they're cheap'. They also damaged the ceilings when taking the wardrobes down and left various fittings lying around so I don't know what they belong to. Overall, really not impressed. I have other examples but no space left. I advise caution.
