I have had work done by Richard & Richard's previously and they have always been excellent when it came to customer service. I recently had a problem with a ballcock on an expansion tank on my heating system. I phoned them on the off chance they could help, and they didn't let me down. As it was entering the weekend I was worried about who to phone, thankfully they came to the rescue. They have never let me down, and always gone the extra mile.

We spoke to numerous kitchen companies (big and small) and were recommended R&R. We felt they best understood what we wanted and our constraints around budget. It's safe to say they delivered (at every stage!) and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Huge thank you to Daniel (and apologies for needing to speak to me outside hours), and Lawrence and Simon on the fitting elements. One very happy customer :)

Had a downstairs toilet made into a shower room. We had trouble looking for trades people to remove existing walls and building new ones and wanted the job doing by one company to make it easier for us. Richard and Richards were spot on in everything they did from turning up for the initial consult on time yes on time! to delivering the finished product. We were very happy with the professionalism, attention to detail and craftsmanship of all the guys working there. Also the clean up operation on a day to day basis ensuring everywhere was kept as clean and tidy as possible. I can highly recommend this company and will be using them again in the future.

R&R completed the task of reconfiguring the ground floor of our house to our utmost satisfaction. This included the repositioning of the boiler & electrics to create a new storage space under the stairs, the partial removal of a stud wall to join the kitchen/dining area, extensive re-plastering, new flooring throughout & installing bespoke cabinets, shelving & appliances to provide us with a kitchen/dining room of the highest quality. The entire process from the initial showroom consultation to the conclusion of the project was both “Remarkable & Reassuring!” Communication from start to finish was outstanding. Throughout, two way discussions were actively encouraged facilitating the smooth and seamless completion of the project. R&R gave us a detailed quotation that was within our established budget & there were no hidden costs. Any changes to the final total were at our request for additional work. From Daniel, coordinating calmly & assuredly in the office, to every single skilled workman who delivered the highest possible standard of work in the most respectful & mannerly way, it was a pleasure to welcome them each day. To mention anyone individual from the team would be unfair as each played a significant part in bringing the job to fruition. R&R were reliable & punctual for work every day, relentless & resourceful in their pursuit of excellence & respectful to us, our home & our neighbours in going about their business. We would recommend R&R without hesitation.

We had a beautiful kitchen fitted, from start to finish was perfection. All the lads are very friendly, Polite, hard working and Professional They kept to the three week time schedule right to the Day. The quality of the kitchen, floor etc. everything is absolutely fabulous I want to say a big thank you to Daniel, the project manager, he did the 3D model layout design, it was amazing, Laurence, Simon, Rick, Joel for kitchen fitting, John and Dave for new flooring, plus Luke and Callum at Simplicity Granite for worktops and Danny the electrician. We are definitely thinking of having our bathroom fitted by these guys. Thank you very much we are over the moon and the best kitchen we have ever had.

I had a new kitchen and utility room fitted. R&R also updated my wardrobes. I was most impressed by the way all the work was done. I was given a detailed schedule in advance and the work would have finished on time had covid not intervened. The team worked together well and were very professional. They cleaned up after all the work every day. I am really pleased with all the work they did and would highly recommend this company.

We wanted to update the kitchen rather than entirely replace it. This in itself can raise issues as some we approached only wanted to undertake complete replacement which in our case seemed excessive. Richard and Richard's were entirely open about any feasible request. We had reasonably definite ideas as to what we wanted but needed guidance over some issues and this was expertly given. The work location is an apartment in the city centre - again this can cause problems but there were none with this firm. The work was carried out promptly, with a great deal of attention to detail when this was needed, and in a tidy manner. Every individual involved in the undertaking was very congenial and skilled. From first contact up to completion of our new kitchen everything was very slick and professional. Planning was initiated during lockdown via a rough sketch and photos from us. The virtual presentation provided was spot on. After lockdown we visited the showroom to view the various options open to us. Ben assisted admirably in this process and we eventually ended up with his recommendations regarding cupboards, work surfaces, flooring and tiling. R and R managed the whole project including the sub-contracting of plasterer, gas technician, electrician, flooring installer, tiler and skip. They also sourced all materials. All personnel (both R and R and sub-contractors) involved from removal of the old kitchen to completion of the new project were courteous, knowledgeable and the quality of their work was superb. We were given a start date and a time frame 3 months from placing the order. The promises made were fulfilled in full and on time. The whole process was incredibly smooth and well managed with no real hiccups. I purchased an apartment that needed a complete makeover so I took my time in researching in order to ensure a good job, which would be as hassle free as possible. I came across Richard & Richard’s and contacted them due to the reviews and because they were a ‘Which’ approved company. Daniel designed and project managed the work. The difference from other quotes was different from the onset… Daniel didn't just design what I asked for but offered suggestion, showing me options I had not thought of. The 3D design was better that I imagined and the end results were exactly as designed. The work included knocking down two walls; installing a kitchen and bathroom and turning a very small cloakroom into a shower room. I am delighted with the work, the process and the customer service. I would like to thank Daniel for his brilliant project management skills and to Rick and his team for their high standard of work.

Richards and Richard's provided a fantastic service for our bathroom. Ricky was brilliant helping us plan everything and provided clear and timely communication throughout. The installation included knocking down a wall between the bathroom and toilet but everything went exactly to schedule. Brett and everyone else involved were very helpful and did an excellent job, they turned up exactly on time everyday and we were impressed with how tidy they left everything. When a couple of unexpected minor issues cropped up, they were great with dealing with the problems quickly and to a high standard. We were really pleased with the final result and would highly recommend.

I previously had R&R fit my kitchen a couple of years ago and was so pleased with the whole experience, I chose them again to design and fit my bath/shower room. Dan gave excellent advice on the design and layout and always promptly replied to any questions I had. They started work on the agreed date and were here working each day until it was completed. I had minimal disruption, they tidied up each day and they always made sure I had water available. Rick and Brett are an absolute pleasure to deal with and nothing seemed to much trouble for them, in fact Rick sorted the hinges on a cabinet of mine I wanted to reuse in the bathroom! It's a real pleasure finding a company who delivers what they promise, 5 star service from start to end.

Just under 2 years ago we employed the services of Richard and Richard's to design and install our kitchen. We received outstanding service from Daniel who designed our kitchen - the 3D design created was exactly as we'd imagined our new kitchen to look. One of the reasons we employed R&R was their ability to project manage all aspects of the job with their expert fitters and skilled tradesmen. So when we decided to go ahead with a new bathroom we went directly to R&R. Designed by Daniel and expertly fitted by Brett, we are thrilled with the result. Everything about the service was impressive. Daniel was able to produce designs quickly, using quality products within our budget. As the project commenced just prior to lockdown, the majority of contact was completed via email. This did not impact the project at all. Daniel was quick to respond to any questions and nothing was too much trouble. The project started and ended on schedule. A truly professional service by all at R&R and team and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I don't normally leave reviews but I wanted to as Richards and Richards deserve it. Ever since we stepped into the showroom, we've been treated professionally, with a personal touch. The kitchen has turned out better than we had hoped as throughout the build Rick, Daniel and his tradesmen offered help and advice and good solutions were offered to any problems encountered. There was no penny pinching, and in certain situations, money was actually saved and we had complete in Richard and Richards and anybody they used or recommended. My experience of working with R&R was exemplary from enquiry to completion. There was never any hint of pressure in the showroom, simply a willingness from Daniel and his colleagues to provide the appropriate advice on design, components and a sense of prioritisation. Daniel spent a great deal of time helping answer queries and always made himself available to help, adapting to various lockdowns conditions using a variety of tech. Unlike many National suppliers, the costs were extremely transparent which really helped bring things in on budget, and R&R helped ensure there were no surprises. The fit was completing to a very high standard. The communication between R&R and the contractor team with me was exceptional. The attention to detail on site was excellent, and tiny details and issues which could easily have been neglected were addressed creatively and with a perfect finish. I have no hesitation in recommending their service and would use them again in a heartbeat should the need arise.

I wanted to update my ‘tired’ kitchen whilst retaining the basic design and some of the existing appliances. Richards and Richards were the third company I approached. I was impressed by Daniel and his team from the outset. No hard sell - just excellent advice resulting in a stylish, contemporary and practical kitchen design at a competitive price. The quotation was both detailed and straight forward. The 3D presentation of the design was impressive giving a clear virtual impression of the finished product. Daniel was patient and constructive when I changed my mind on several occasions during the design process. The kitchen fitting team led by Rick were excellent. High quality workmanship undertaken within the agreed time schedule and cost estimate. Last month I needed to replace my dishwasher. Unfortunately I miscalculated the measurements for the replacement washer as a result of which it would not fit into the allocated slot. Rick has been twice to resolve the issue treating it as an after service issue. Outstanding service and professionalism. I have no hesitation in recommending Richards and Richards.

We had our kitchen and utility room fitted by Richard and Richards in 2017. The kitchen and fitting was of a very high standard and we were extremely pleased with the work You may wonder why I am writing a review now. I can’t praise Ricky Williamson highly enough. I have had two occasions when I have needed a trader for work on our house and asked Ricky if he knew anyone who could help. If he doesn’t answer the phone when you ring he returns your call within minutes. He is always pleasant and helpful and has found us two traders to do our work. I had my kitchen installed in October 2016.I contacted R&R regarding an issue with the door panel on the front of the dishwasher as I was concerned that this could damage the dishwasher hinge. After talking to R&R they said they would come and have a look at the problem. Rick removed the panel and said he would take it back to his workshop and return it the following day.We now have a working dishwasher with no issues with the door. Excellent service from R&R which is good to know that after four years they still value their customers. The kitchen still looks as if it was installed this year a credit to their kitchen quality and good installation. I can fully recommend R&R for their kitchens and after sales service.

We had R&R to fit our Kitchen last year and were thrilled with the everything in relation to design and installation. We had minor issue with a squeaking cupboard door this week and they came to sort, while here, they also helped Us with a completely unrelated water leak that was nothing to do with them which their plumber fixed. They go above and beyond! A great team and we’d highly recommend them.

We first spoke with Ricky at Richards & Richards in March of 2019, and were immediately impressed by the way that he and all the other staff treated us. He came out, measured up, taking into account what we were looking for at that time. He came up with ideas that we had not considered, and invited us back to the showroom after a week or so to see the 3D designs, which helped us to visualise the look of our new kitchen. Both my wife & I were absolutely amazed by how he had managed to make our kitchen look so different and so much bigger. There was absolutely no hard sell whatsoever! We threw Ricky a number of ‘Curve Balls’ resulting in him having to amend his design…….yet again. To say that he has the patience of a saint is an understatement! I cannot say how pleased we were with the way that the installation was organised and project managed. We knew exactly what was being done, by who and on what days. Everyone who worked on our project was courteous and respectful of our property, it was a messy job but they kept it to a minimum and always cleaned up every day. The quality of workmanship carried out and quality of materials is fantastic. Rick who did the installation was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble for him. No job goes without hitches and problems, it is how a company deals with them that shows how good it’s service is, and R&R get 10 out of 10 in respect of this. The sink from our In-Toto kitchen became detached from the worktop and as it was otherwise unsupported, was effectively unusable. We could not get any help from In-Toto or their former Stockport franchisees, so we emailed several Which Trusted Traders for help. Richard and Richard's response was the most helpful and they turned up the next day. Within half an hour, the problem was resolved. They were most careful to observe social distancing and the work was completed most efficiently. Their operative also carefully cleaned up afterwards. Exemplary service!

We started planning with Daniel at R&R in August 2019 for work in our new home. He had great ideas and the 3D designs helped us to visualise the look of our new home. We found the designs completed for other customers on the website really useful to get ideas . It didn’t feel like a hard sell! Advice about appliances was really helpful! Very patient and willing to adjust as the design phase progressed. The company was recommended by the building team working with us. It was good to have the 2 companies working well together. Fitting commenced in January 20 of 3 bathrooms, kitchen and utility room. They also supplied and installed the central heating. We’re very happy with all the work, the quality of the goods and the after care. All requests regarding snagging were addressed very promptly . When we moved into our new home we had all rooms in a useable finished condition! Like other reviewers, we highly recommend Daniel, Brett and Rick. I think all the rooms are beautiful and functional! It is some time since my kitchen and bathroom was fitted. I developed a fault on the bathroom tap. When I approached Richard and Richard's they went out of their way to assist me especially Brett who went the extra mile to fix it. This is a company that really believes in customer service, very rare these days. I applaud them.

Daniel smith was so very helpful from the first time we met him. He gave us great advice & ideas, he was so patient and understanding, we kept changing our minds on the colours& work tops.
