The Sheerwater engineer demonstrated a high level of proficiency when diagnosing the problem with our ill-fitting front door and in making the necessary adjustment to ensure that it be could be closed and locked easily. He was both polite and considerate during his visit.

Two doors and several windows needed servicing and adjusting after ten years of use and wear. During the first visit to carry out an assessment the engineer was respectful demonstrating strong communication skills by outlining details of the work needed and providing an accurate quote. On the day the work was completed to my satisfaction in every respect.

We had a problem with our PVC double doors ( not supplied by Sheerwater ) as they were not closing properly. We called Sheerwater to ask them to remedy the problem which they offer as a service for a fixed adjustment fee. The man who arrived was very diligent and quite obviously very good at his job and diagnosed the problem and got straight on with fixing the issue. We are extremely pleased with the result and would thoroughly recommend this service provided by Sheerwater, incidentally we also used Sheerwater to replace a broken mirror in a tricky frame some months ago which they also did superbly. It is a nice change to be able write a good review for good work! Thank you Sheerwater Glass.

Recently I contacted this helpful, local business to replace four double-glazed units in my house. The quote was very reasonable. All my telephone communications were with Charis, a friendly and very accommodating adviser, even when I had to revise the date for installation. The technician was prompt with his survey visit and I did not have to wait long before the units were ready. The technician was punctual on both his visits and the units were fitted professionally. My house was left very tidy and he even put back the blind! Thank you to all involved- especially Charis who talked me through the whole process. Would highly recommend!

My experience with this company has not been great. We contacted them to have 5 windows installed and initially, they sent us a quote. As per the initial quote, 2 out of 5 windows were sash windows. We asked them for a specific pattern and they said this would not change the quote compared to the plain sash windows included in the initial quote and we agreed these would be installed They installed instead the 2 plain sash windows, and not those with the pattern we agreed on. When raised the issue, they to downplay the mistake and offered no solution or compensation for the inconvenience caused. Due to this poor communication and management of the issues, I would not recommend them.

We contacted Sheerwater Glass because the multipoint locking mechanism on our Fronr Door was starting to stick in the locked position. Their engineer named Ruslan arrived at the appointed time and diagnosed the problem. He measured the existing locking mechanism and showed me how to overcome the problem, on a temporary basis. A few days later the office contacted me with the price for a new locking mechanism which I accepted. The mechanism was ordered and a couple of weeks later the same engineer came back to fit the part. The lock now works perfectly. Sheerwater Glass did an excellent job, highly recommended by myself.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Sheerwater Glass over the past 40 years , The supply and fitting of a logia established them as a trusted supplier , the work done to a very high standard and has never given a moments concern over the years . We have had other work done by SG …the supply and fit of Porch Glass and other glass though out the house .. SG has always been our first call , and we have never had cause to doubt the standard of service backed by helpful professional staff . I have been pleased to recommend them on numerous occasions and have always had good feedback . The splendid new showroom in Guildford needs to be seen, it is an honest projection of the firm and I wish them well

Sheerwater Glass is an excellent local company who we have complete trust and faith in. Our front door, installed by Sheerwater 2 years ago, was starting to become difficult to close and open. The Sheerwater engineer was quickly able to identify the problem and fix it within 25 minutes. It seems that the door had dropped slightly and was affecting the locking system. This work was carried out under warranty.

The men who fitted my door arrived on time and were very professional. They did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the new door. I highly recommend this company.

I required some replacement DGUs for some existing windows which in all other respects are in good condition. Sheerwater Glass provided exactly the service I required from the initial site survey, a detailed quotation and final installation. They were very professional in all aspects, particularly the site work which was carried out in a safe and competent manner. They are to be commended, and I will use their services again if/when the need arises.

I had nine blown double glazing units and three window handles replaced. I am completely satisified with the result. The replacement leaded units are identical to the original. The work was done with minimum distrurbance and the place was left very tidy and clean afterwards. From making initial contact with Sheerwater Glass to completion of the work, the team were polite, helpful and always professional. The initial, pre visit, quote was hiigher than the final price which was a very plesant surprise.

Sheerwater Glass constructed new conservatory, replacing old one. Project completed to time and budget . All staff excellent, as were associated builder and electrician. We were kept informed throughout; everyone arrived on time and left things tidy each day. I would recommend them for glazing related home projects.

I had two sets of double glazing replaced by Sheerwater Glass in the past six months. On both occasions, they responded rapidly to my calls and undertook the work on schedule and efficiently. The windows they provided look good and work well.

Two blown double-glazed windows were replaced. The work was carried out very efficiently, on time as planned. Installers were courteous,tidy and hard working; an absolute credit to their employers.

We have just had three sash windows fitted in the bedrooms upstairs at the front of the house. Two were normal width single sash for one bedroom and the third was double width with a large central sash and smaller sash panes either side for the other bedroom. The product and fittings are excellent quality and having discussed the installation with the fitters, Scott and Ben, and watched them at work, it was clear that the quality of the fitting was commensurate with that of the windows. Scott and Ben were a pleasure to have in our home, cleaned up completely at the end and we are very happy with the outcome. The job was completed on time and on budget and we would recommend Sheerwater Glass to others.

It is no wonder that Sheerwater Glass are one of the oldest and most trusted companies in the Woking area. From the 1st visit by the Estimator who listened to and wholly appreciated what I wanted to achieve, the Surveyor for the more precise measurements etc and the fitters who undertook the works, all were truly superb. On the day of the works I pointed the fitters in the right direction and left them to it. A few hours later it was as though my old rotten door had magically disappeared and a new one had grown in its place. No mess, no bother and their attention to the finishing details was just 1st class. This is not the 1st time that I have used the services of Sheerwater Glass and it will certainly not be the last. Very simply; just good old fashioned service at its very best.

The men who replaced my door were very efficient, polite and professional. The door was replaced without any damage to walls or surrounding brickwork and surrounding floors cleaned when finished. We had six windows installed by Sheerwater Glass including two bays. Very impressed by their professionalism from start to finish. The installers were very efficient and tidy. One glazed unit was cracked upon installation but this was sorted out and replaced very quickly.

I used Sheerwater Glass twice: several years ago when we did our house renovation and most recently for our garden outbuild. We bought our windows and doors there. I can't compliment this company enough. On both projects, they impressed us. Firstly the people there are amazing - very professional and responsive. I didn't chase them for anything. And they gave us excellent pieces of advice along the way. Mark, Nic, Claire, Chris, Stuart and the rest of the Team, you are incredible! Secondly, the product is of very high quality. Not many companies offer uPVC windows which are almost as sleek as aluminum! And in case you do have any problem (e.g. one of our window keys stopped turning properly), it is very easy to book the aftercare service and at no cost! Last but not least is the price. Of course, we shopped around on both occasions and both times Sheerwater Glass were the best value. And with our most recent project, the company has shown incredible flexibility and customer service. I would definitely recommend Sheerwater Glass and we would use them again and again.
