Richard arrived on time, installed our water softener and was at all times neat and tidy. A skilled plumber, he added the necessary pipework with consummate ease, and with his calm and pleasant manner explained all we needed to know to operate the device.

Richard was incredibly helpful and professional when taking out my old water softener and replacing it with a new one. He was also swift and skilled at fixing a blockage and replacing valves and pipework. He has also replaced the filters in my water filter. He was very clear with explaining what he had done and how to maintain the products. Silkflow are a reliable, friendly and trustworthy business, would definitely recommend.

We made an enquiry about fitting a water softener and what our options might be. The response offering to come out and see our property and explain options came very quickly, and we were able to set up an appointment promptly. At the appointment, the whole process was explained very clearly, including how it would be fitted, where and what it would do, as well as ongoing salt costs and a full quote for installation. We were able to arrange fitting very swiftly, got a text the night before reminding us and stating the time of arrival (which was spot on- no hanging around waiting). And the fitting was straightforward and completed in less than 3 hours. Everything was left neat and tidy, no mess. And we had a clear explanation about salt replenishment and how to order, how to deal with any problems, etc. They also offer a salt delivery service, which was also explained. Very professional, prompt, and hassle-free service. Highly recommend.

Silkflow was recommended to me by another highly rated provider / installer who didn't cover my area. A consultation visit was arranged promptly and Richard talked me through the pros and cons of all options clearly - which were previously a mystery to me. The quote was lower than expected, and install was arranged promptly. On the day of install Richard was prompt, and he's a super friendly lovely guy to have in your home. There was some tricky pipework to manage but he handled it effortlessly and the install / cleanup was immaculate. Really thrilled with how the whole process was handled, and my new lovely soft water.

Richard fitted my water softener there was some pipe work which took time but this was not made out to be any problem.I was not able to be there all the time and unfortunately Richard had gone when I returned so was not able to thank him.Everything was left very neat and tidy no mess and am very pleased with neat softener.The whole process from initial contact to sight visit and installation was painless. Trader was recommended to us by neighbours, so called them in for an estimate. They visited, explained everything they would do and gave me a price. This was agreed and on a fixed date they attended and installed the softener. They were on time, tidy and clean and once installed provided the necessary information re how to use the product, etc. Very happy with the service and product.

A welcome, straightforward transaction to replace a 20 year old water softener that was no longer working. An initial call identified the issue and a couple of suitable replacement softeners were recommended. We made our choice and a couple of weeks later the new one was fitted. A week on from that, we are now noticing much better water in both of our bathrooms. We appreciated the 'no drama' and straightforward approach to the problem we had in an area of very hard water.

I contacted Silkflow a couple of weeks ago when our existing water softener failed. They were able to send someone around within a few days to access the problem and make recommendations. it was agreed that a replacement was required and the various options were presented and discussed in a very understandable way. A replacement was ordered and a date set for the work to be done. On the day the old softener was removed and the new fitted without any problem and in a clean and tidy way. Overall, an excellent job of work.

We were forced to retrofit a water softener into our newly fitted kitchen after falling for the sales hype of Halcyan Water Conditioners. Huge mistake on our part because unlike a water softener, the water conditioner did not prevent the build-up of limescale on difficult to access areas such the underside of popup sink plugs. We also found the Halcyan water conditioner shortened the service interval of our Quooker boiling water tap significantly (from circa 2 years to just 6 months!) because the build up of limescale that accumulated at the bottom of the tank blocked the filter and delivery pipe! Also, it appeared to do nothing in terms of reducing water hardness. Richard was able to schedule the installation within a week or so of visiting us. The unit is easy to is easy to access, making the replacement of the salt blocks an easy task. The pipework is neatly laid out, minimising the loss of cupboard space. Good choice - unlike the Halcyan which has been removed!

I was impressed by Richard Boyce of Silkflow from his first visit to give us a quote. He was punctual, polite, clean and smartly dressed - all very efficient and professional. Having assessed our existing plumbing and clearly answered our questions he was able to provide a detailed written quote before he left and no deposit was required. Richard arrived again on the date and time booked, despite significant snowfall. Again, he was polite, friendly and communicated well over any remaining queries with the installation. He quickly got on with the work to fit the water softener, filter and tap in a quiet and efficient manner and was particularly careful to keep everywhere clean and tidy. Invoice was provided by e-mail the same day and came in exactly as detailed in the original quote. No problem paying by bank transfer to details given. It's early days yet as to how well the water-softener works on our very hard water, but so far it's been a very satisfying, hasle-free experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend Richard and Silkflow.

Richard came today and replaced my water softener. He worked very efficiently and made sure the system was working properly. He also resolved another problem. He explained how the softener worked, I am very pleased with the service provided.

I was very impressed with the service Richard/Silkflow gave when having a new water softener installed. I initially called to ask some questions about the softeners they sell/install, and Richard answered all my questions and was quick to give me a price. I received a text message the day before the installation date, with a time window that Richard would come which I appreciated and he arrived on time. The install looks clean, is working fully and Richard also explained how to fill the unit, when and how the machine may behave differently to my previous softener (first time using a non-electric softener that takes blocks rather than tablet). I was looking for a Company who could supply and install a Hague water softener for me. I came across Silkflow online and I contacted them. I'm so glad I did. Richard was able to do the install a few days later and has done a really professional job. Some of the pipework used for my previous water softener needed to be replaced to accommodate the Hague. This was in rather a confined space but Richard managed with no trouble at all and it is a very neat and tidy job. Highly Recommended

Richard is very knowledgable with heaps of experience. The Infinity T4 water softener, water filter, new tap and associated pipework were all fitted neatly and professionally for a reasonable price. I wasn't surprised with the workmanship as Richard fills you with confidence. I had a question a few days after installation and Richard was happy to take my call and give helpful advice. I rang Swiftflow with my problem I was given a date and time. Richard arrived on time after checking the fault he explained what the problem was and gave me a firm quote. Before he started he covered the floor to keep it clean. He fitted the new part swiftly and cleanly and tested the system, when finished he made sure everywhere was clean and tidy and took the old parts away.
