Silkflow Water Softeners was established in 1987.
We are Independent Water Treatment Specialists and carry out all installations and maintenance of water softeners and drinking water filteration systems.
We can supply a wide range of water softeners including non electric block salt softeners and electric timed and metered water softeners so we can advise you on the right softener for your specific requirements.
We supply and deliver block salt, tablet salt, and granular salt.
We can supply and fit a wide range of filter cartridges and taps for drinking water systems.
When you contact Silkflow Water Softeners you will speak to either Sharon or Richard.
Richard carries out all the installations,repairs and servicing and he will also deliver your salt.
We cover all areas of Bucks,Berks,Herts and Oxon.

Our new water softener was fitted efficiently despite a very awkward small space to work with. Richard completed the job quickly leaving no mess whatsoever. We have now tested the water for its hardness (to the garden tap) and its softness indoors with excellent results. We had an issue the following day and Richard came straight back and in a short space of time sorted out the problem (which turned out to be our old pipework!). No hesitation in recommending Silkflow.

I had a water softener fitted because I knew the benefits from my previous home. We have just moved here and the water is hard. The work was carried out efficiently, everything was explained and I was consulted when something different had to be done. We also had a drinking water tap with filter fitted. Everything is working perfectly. Richard had previously fitted a softener at my sons house, so I know the work was good. I would definitely recommend Silkflow. Good work, very tidy, very polite arrived on time! 10/10

Richard was amazing. He found a problem with the water meter and rang the water company for us. They were going to leave us without any water but Richard was having none of that. After 3 hours he personally resolved the problem for which I will be forever grateful. We are O.A.Ps and couldn't have resolved this by ourselves. I would recommend them any day of the week and would just like to say thank you once again.

Silkflow has fitted water softeners for other members of the family so came highly recommended. I called for a quote, received a verbal quote & made the booking for the following week. Richard was very efficient in giving the original estimate which he did whilst here. The installation was done 2 weeks later. Drinking water in the kitchen required a change of tap and a filter unit under the kitchen sink. The work was carried out with the least disruption. I would not fail to recommend Silkflow, who was recommended to me by a friend.

We contacted Richard on recommendation, to install a water softener whilst also providing hard water for the kitchen. He carried out a site visit promptly and gave an estimate that evening, which was accepted and a date fixed. The work was carried out entirely satisfactorily and when Richard identified a problem to provide outdoor hard water, he resolved that issue all within original estimate. Richard provided full information on the installation, was prompt, efficient, pleasant and worked tidily and cleanly and gave full details of aftercare and provision of consumables. In conclusion, we would have no hesitation in recommending Richard and Silkflow.

We had an old, inadequate water softening system. Richard came and gave us the options on replacing it. He then returned to fit the system. We had received a sales pitch from one of the large UK water softener installers and received a large quote in the process. We wanted to get a quote from a local installer and found Silkflow. They were very responsive to our request and we found Richard really helpful with information and advice on the installation. His quote was 15% cheaper than the original quote we had received. What we liked the most was that he was very accommodating with our request to put the softener unit into a corner cupboard to save space. He was on time, very tidy and we are very happy with the end result.

They also delivered salt what is also important they come when they said and if they needed to cancel they contact you. I also like the fact you can talk to them on the phone easily.

This family-run company was recommended by a friend and was happy to provide an obligation-freee quotation. The plumber turned up on time for both the assessment visit and the subsequent fitting. I was confident throughout that he knew what he was doing and he proved communicative. The job took about two hours, there was minimal mess and full instructions were provided afterwards. The price was competitive and we were perfectly happy with the work done. Very happy with our modern new softener, which should be cheaper to run and much easier to load than our previous tablet salt electricity-powered machine. He also serviced our water filter while he was here and we will in future take advantage of his keenly priced salt blocks.
