Silkflow Water Softeners was established in 1987.
We are Independent Water Treatment Specialists and carry out all installations and maintenance of water softeners and drinking water filteration systems.
We can supply a wide range of water softeners including non electric block salt softeners and electric timed and metered water softeners so we can advise you on the right softener for your specific requirements.
We supply and deliver block salt, tablet salt, and granular salt.
We can supply and fit a wide range of filter cartridges and taps for drinking water systems.
When you contact Silkflow Water Softeners you will speak to either Sharon or Richard.
Richard carries out all the installations,repairs and servicing and he will also deliver your salt.
We cover all areas of Bucks,Berks,Herts and Oxon.

Installation of Silkflow Water Softener and all pipework, completed on date specified and on time, neatly presented/professional manner. Explained each step as he proceeded, very helpful with replacement of cold water stopcock & blocked sink overflow. Friendly manner, explained clearly aftercare services and how machine operated. Kept work tools tidy, cleared up quickly, swept & brushed up drilling debris. Overall very good service, would not hesitate to recommend.

We had received a sales pitch from one of the large UK water softener installers and received a large quote in the process. We wanted to get a quote from a local installer and found Silkflow. They were very responsive to our request and we found Richard really helpful with information and advice on the installation. His quote was 15% cheaper than the original quote we had received. What we liked the most was that he was very accommodating with our request to put the softener unit into a corner cupboard to save space. He was on time, very tidy and we are very happy with the end result.

Richard was very efficient in giving the original estimate which he did whilst here. The installation was done 2 weeks later. Drinking water in the kitchen required a change of tap and a filter unit under the kitchen sink. The work was carried out with the least disruption. I would not fail to recommend Silkflow, who was recommended to me by a friend.

Just had a water softener installed by Richard and Silkflow and would highly recommend !! From start to finish Richard went through various options, recommendations and listened to our needs as our little one has eczema and we live in a very hard water area. Once we gave the go ahead they communicated on installation dates and times and gave us a reminder the day before. On installation day Richard worked in a tidy and polite way that would not inconvenience us with the little one. I would like to thank Richard/Silkflow and would definitely recommend to any one thinking of having a water softener installed.

Richard has just fitted a water softener for us and we had confidence from start to finish. It was very easy to arrange an appointment for the survey and quotation. Our plumbing is a bit complex and meant we needed someone who really understood what they were going to need to do. Richard explained his plan very carefully and it was clear to us that he would be the right person to do the job. The quote was competitive and timescales were honoured. On the day of fitting, he arrived on time and was a pleasure to deal with. Explained everything to us carefully. I am at risk from covid and he was also very considerate around that, taking a lat flow test before attending. Thoroughly recommended.

The work involved the replacement of a dated supply pipe to the property, re-plumbing within a dated property and installation of the softener. All work was carried out to a very high standard by experienced contractors. I appreciated the care they took to explain their work, their consideration for the age of the property and their willingness to discuss decisions with me. I am delighted with the final product. The company was outstanding because they gave excellent advice in line with the challenges of the property, adjusted their work in sympathy with our needs and the work area. They were courteous, gave us an excellent and well explained quotation and carried out work on time and as quoted.

I was looking for a Company who could supply and install a Hague water softener for me. I came across Silkflow online and I contacted them. I'm so glad I did. Richard was able to do the install a few days later and has done a really professional job. Some of the pipework used for my previous water softener needed to be replaced to accommodate the Hague. This was in rather a confined space but Richard managed with no trouble at all and it is a very neat and tidy job. Highly Recommended

I contacted Silkflow a couple of weeks ago when our existing water softener failed. They were able to send someone around within a few days to access the problem and make recommendations. it was agreed that a replacement was required and the various options were presented and discussed in a very understandable way. A replacement was ordered and a date set for the work to be done. On the day the old softener was removed and the new fitted without any problem and in a clean and tidy way. Overall, an excellent job of work.

Spoke to Richard, the owner and fitter at Silkflow, for a quote for a new water softener, filter and tap. He visited that evening to inspect the current installation and to then make suggestions. Having made my choice, Richard was back in less than 2 weeks to carry out the work. I was very pleased with his suggested improvements, the quality of the work, his neatness doing the jobs, and the new softener, filter and tap. The new kit was keenly priced, and the installation costs were very reasonable. The final price paid was as quoted. Richard is also polite and courteous and provides an excellent service. I thoroughly recommend Silkflow.
