A very professional, informative and helpful response was given by everyone I dealt with at Silkflow, especially Richard who removed an old water softener and replaced with a new one, taking time to answer any questions I had. The job was done very efficiently and the water softener is working perfectly. I am very pleased that I chose Silkflow.

I was looking for a Company who could supply and install a Hague water softener for me. I came across Silkflow online and I contacted them. I'm so glad I did. Richard was able to do the install a few days later and has done a really professional job. Some of the pipework used for my previous water softener needed to be replaced to accommodate the Hague. This was in rather a confined space but Richard managed with no trouble at all and it is a very neat and tidy job. Highly Recommended

The engineer Richard called out to see what was what and explained clearly the situation with my old water softener and what my options were. At no time did I feel I was being pressured into a new water softener but I felt very reassured I was making the right choice. The removal of the old softener and the installation of the new was seamless and Richard is an amazingly tidy worker. Nobody likes spending money if they don’t have to but I feel very reassured I have a great new product, professionally installed and the backup of a company I feel very happy dealing with. Richard is very knowledgable with heaps of experience. The Infinity T4 water softener, water filter, new tap and associated pipework were all fitted neatly and professionally for a reasonable price. I wasn't surprised with the workmanship as Richard fills you with confidence. I had a question a few days after installation and Richard was happy to take my call and give helpful advice. The water softener itself works brilliantly and really makes a noticeable difference to the hard water feeding the house, very pleased I got it fitted. I rang Swiftflow with my problem I was given a date and time. Richard arrived on time after checking the fault he explained what the problem was and gave me a firm quote. Before he started he covered the floor to keep it clean. He fitted the new part swiftly and cleanly and tested the system, when finished he made sure everywhere was clean and tidy and took the old parts away. Richard was a pleasure to deal with as was the lady who I spoke to when I phoned. When the job was finished everything was working and everywhere was clean, you won't have known anyone had been. Richard surveyed my job promptly and quoted me same day. I went ahead and the communication was good and arrived promptly on time to do the work. The work involved the replacement of a dated supply pipe to the property, re-plumbing within a dated property and installation of the softener. All work was carried out to a very high standard by experienced contractors. I appreciated the care they took to explain their work, their consideration for the age of the property and their willingness to discuss decisions with me. I am delighted with the final product. The company was outstanding because they gave excellent advice in line with the challenges of the property, adjusted their work in sympathy with our needs and the work area. Just had a water softener installed by Richard and Silkflow and would highly recommend !! From start to finish Richard went through various options, recommendations and listened to our needs as our little one has eczema and we live in a very hard water area. Once we gave the go ahead they communicated on installation dates and times and gave us a reminder the day before. Our new water softener was fitted efficiently despite a very awkward small space to work with. Richard completed the job quickly leaving no mess whatsoever. Richard was amazing. He found a problem with the water meter and rang the water company for us. They were going to leave us without any water but Richard was having none of that. After 3 hours he personally resolved the problem for which I will be forever grateful. We are O.A.Ps and couldn't have resolved this by ourselves. Richard was very efficient in giving the original estimate which he did whilst here. The installation was done 2 weeks later. Drinking water in the kitchen required a change of tap and a filter unit under the kitchen sink. The work was carried out with the least disruption. We contacted Richard on recommendation, to install a water softener whilst also providing hard water for the kitchen. He carried out a site visit promptly and gave an estimate that evening, which was accepted and a date fixed. The work was carried out entirely satisfactorily and when Richard identified a problem to provide outdoor hard water, he resolved that issue all within original estimate. Richard provided full information on the installation, was prompt, efficient, pleasant and worked tidily and cleanly and gave full details of aftercare and provision of consumables. Richard quoted to install water softener and quoted and gave installation date on this visit. He arrived promptly, used protective sheets and followed Covid guidelines. He encountered an unforeseen problem with the water feed to the fridge but overcame this and there was no additional cost for the extra work. Once finished, he tidied up and explained the operation of the softener well. All in all, a great job.

Fully explained, options are given - new or repair -and acceptable quote on price for a new appliance provided. Work done quickly, the area around the "site" protected and all left clean and tidy. We had received a sales pitch from one of the large UK water softener installers and received a large quote in the process. We wanted to get a quote from a local installer and found Silkflow. They were very responsive to our request and we found Richard really helpful with information and advice on the installation. His quote was 15% cheaper than the original quote we had received. What we liked the most was that he was very accommodating with our request to put the softener unit into a corner cupboard to save space. He was on time, very tidy and we are very happy with the end result.

Silkflow (Richard) recently came to install another new water softener for us and again did a great job. There has never been any hassle during any of my installations I have had a few softeners from Silkflow over many many years and find that I always get honest advice in which water softener I should go for and why.. The aftercare service is also very good in that I have my scheduled deliveries delivered on time. When the time comes for another softener I will be returning to Richard at Silkflow

Richard is a professional who knows his product and its application. We obtained other quotes but they were either more expensive, less professional inspiring no confidence, or both! Don't waste your time - use Silkflow and be sure you will be getting great value product. Tony Bratt PS Silkflow is also the best value for block salt supply which extends your warranty (doubt it is ever used).

We asked Richard to look at our old water softener which had stopped working. He diagnosed that that the old softener was beyond repair and managed to install a new softener the very next day. Excellent service and workmanship.

Our 2001-vintage water softener finally gave up the ghost, and our trusted local general plumber told us we should look for someone who specialises in water softeners. I found Silkflow through Which? Trusted Traders, Richard came to look at the defective softener and told us, (no surprise) that we needed a new one, giving us different options of models to choose from. He back came yesterday, removed the old unit, changed and updated the pipework and fitted the new unit in about 3 hours, leaving everything clean and tidy. A Ronseal job - he did what it said on the tin!
