Silkflow Water Softeners was established in 1987.
We are Independent Water Treatment Specialists and carry out all installations and maintenance of water softeners and drinking water filteration systems.
We can supply a wide range of water softeners including non electric block salt softeners and electric timed and metered water softeners so we can advise you on the right softener for your specific requirements.
We supply and deliver block salt, tablet salt, and granular salt.
We can supply and fit a wide range of filter cartridges and taps for drinking water systems.
When you contact Silkflow Water Softeners you will speak to either Sharon or Richard.
Richard carries out all the installations,repairs and servicing and he will also deliver your salt.
We cover all areas of Bucks,Berks,Herts and Oxon.

Richard was amazing. He found a problem with the water meter and rang the water company for us. They were going to leave us without any water but Richard was having none of that. After 3 hours he personally resolved the problem for which I will be forever grateful. We are O.A.Ps and couldn't have resolved this by ourselves. I would recommend them any day of the week and would just like to say thank you once again.

I had a water softener fitted because I knew the benefits from my previous home. We have just moved here and the water is hard. The work was carried out efficiently, everything was explained and I was consulted when something different had to be done. We also had a drinking water tap with filter fitted. Everything is working perfectly. Richard had previously fitted a softener at my sons house, so I know the work was good. I would definitely recommend Silkflow. Good work, very tidy, very polite arrived on time! 10/10

Our new water softener was fitted efficiently despite a very awkward small space to work with. Richard completed the job quickly leaving no mess whatsoever. We have now tested the water for its hardness (to the garden tap) and its softness indoors with excellent results. We had an issue the following day and Richard came straight back and in a short space of time sorted out the problem (which turned out to be our old pipework!). No hesitation in recommending Silkflow.

Just had a water softener installed by Richard and Silkflow and would highly recommend !! From start to finish Richard went through various options, recommendations and listened to our needs as our little one has eczema and we live in a very hard water area. Once we gave the go ahead they communicated on installation dates and times and gave us a reminder the day before. On installation day Richard worked in a tidy and polite way that would not inconvenience us with the little one. I would like to thank Richard/Silkflow and would definitely recommend to any one thinking of having a water softener installed.

Richard has just fitted a water softener for us and we had confidence from start to finish. It was very easy to arrange an appointment for the survey and quotation. Our plumbing is a bit complex and meant we needed someone who really understood what they were going to need to do. Richard explained his plan very carefully and it was clear to us that he would be the right person to do the job. The quote was competitive and timescales were honoured. On the day of fitting, he arrived on time and was a pleasure to deal with. Explained everything to us carefully. I am at risk from covid and he was also very considerate around that, taking a lat flow test before attending. Thoroughly recommended.

The work involved the replacement of a dated supply pipe to the property, re-plumbing within a dated property and installation of the softener. All work was carried out to a very high standard by experienced contractors. I appreciated the care they took to explain their work, their consideration for the age of the property and their willingness to discuss decisions with me. I am delighted with the final product. The company was outstanding because they gave excellent advice in line with the challenges of the property, adjusted their work in sympathy with our needs and the work area. Richard surveyed my job promptly and quoted me same day. I went ahead and the communication was good and arrived promptly on time to do the work. I had a T4 water softener installed as a new installation. Richard took care around the existing kitchen units and completed the job on time and left no mess.
