After finding a water leak from a mixer tap we contacted Simon Barker who serviced our gas boiler. As this was not an emergency we expected to wait serveral days but were pleasantly surprised to receive the same day service. All the staff were polite and friendly and the lady taking our phone call was very professional and a good impression for the company. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

A young man (Bradley) carried out his work so professionally and so quickly I hardly knew he was there! He left the bathroom spotless after repairing a sheared off bolt to the toilet cistern, not an easy job as access was difficult but he accomplished the job regardless. A task well done!

We asked Simon Barker to install a new boiler. Initially we received useful advice regarding the boiler and thermostat to choose, and the work itself was carried out very professionally and within the schedule outlined. We have used Simon Barker for other work in the past, and will do so in the future. I recommend them without hesitation.

Having recently moved into my new property, the upstairs toilet decided to stop flushing. I contacted Simon and an appointment was made for someone to visit in approximately a couple of weeks. Harry the young plumber arrived exactly on time (actually he was half an hour early). He changed the flush unit in the cistern which wasn’t easy as the bathroom is dated and connections had corroded with time. He was friendly, approachable and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, overnight a very slight leak developed from one of the connections but as soon as I contacted the company Harry immediately contacted me (within a couple of minutes) to arrange a time to come and resolve the problem. Again on arrival he was friendly, punctual and approachable. He had the issue resolved within 5-10 minutes and the toilet has been perfect since. I was so impressed with the company and Harry that I have them booked in to complete a boiler/heating check for me later this month.

Simon Barker Services is an approved servicer for Viessmann boilers. We have used them now for about five years. Their engineers are always polite, competent and efficient. Their charge for a boiler service is very reasonable. I would have no problem recommending the company to a prospective user.

My stop tap was not cutting off the supply so had to get someone in. Appointment made for a few days ahead for early afternoon. Plumber rang me in the morning asking if he could come early as he was free due to missed appointment. Agreed time and he arrived as expected. Got straight on with the job and after realising it wasn't going to be a straight forward swap he had the pipework cut out and replaced, to me, in no time. Very good service from the company and the plumber. Left the work area clean and tidy. I will use this company again. Cost not bad either. Not out of line with what I expected.

I contacted Barkers as one of my tenanted properties had an issue with the boiler. They attended the following day to view the issue and completed the repair two days later. Both myself and the tenant were happy with the timescale and were kept informed throughout the process. Excellent service provided and I will definitely use again.

Removed old boiler and left premises tidy. Plumbers worked well. Work completed in accordance with quote. Will use again when service required.

From start to finish they were prompt, courteous and extremely efficient. Quote was received within 24 hours of initial visit and new boiler installed at our convenience under two weeks later. The installation team were very respectful of both us and our property, always protects the carpets and left everything very clean and tidy. They worked diligently and completed the job in the advised time frame. Would highly recommend.

I consider myself a regular customer of SBP&H and have never had any complaint with their service. I would like to thank Bradley and his team for the faultless completion of my lovely new kitchen The workmanship was first class especially the tiling on the walls and the beautifully crafted worktops. I had a leak where mains water comes in, under the sink. They re-tightened and re-sealed and cleaned up the water under the cupboard. Then triple checked all was well with the seals before leaving. Very polite and professional and reassuring as I'm 75rs old and on my own.
