Steve has done a lot of work on three of our properties. He has completed many successful repairs and replaced things like lead flashings around veluxes

Steve took on some fiddly repairs to our roof after things had been left in a bit of a mess by the builders that installed it (and then became uncontactable). He thoroughly assessed the situation when he first visited and was the only trader we had visit that actually got up on the roof to see the situation up close (everyone else just looked and pointed from ground level and spoke about a vague 'discovery' stage to the work, with no fixed price, that would happen once they got started). Steve provided a detailed written quote in a timely manner. Dates for the work were agreed and then everything proceeded on schedule. Steve explained everything that he was doing and provided photos of the completed work that was not visible from ground level. He was punctual, efficient, courteous and tidy.

I've used Steve several times to do jobs on my roof and have always found him to be good to deal with. He's helpful, very knowledgeable and personable. He does what he says he's going to, when he says he's going to do it and his prices are reasonable. He explains what he is doing and why he's doing it, and doesn't try to talk you into doing more expensive work. He takes pictures of the work, before and after so you can see what is happening. Most recently he installed some ventilation tiles, and repaired some flashing after I reported smelling damp in my loft. After he got up on the roof to do that job he discovered one of the chimneys was not capped off properly so returned to do that as well with the minimum of fuss. I am happy to recommend Steve.
