The team was nice, professional, on time. My furniture went into a storage for 15 months and nothing has been damaged. The moving which is usually a stressful time has become smooth and easy. I would highly recommend this company

We moved house on 31 October 2025 and selected Smart Carriers after some online research. David (the owner) came to do the survey himself. I thought he was professional, knowledgable and trustworthy. Due to some delays exchanging we were actually only able to book the move in on 26th October but David had kindly held the date for us and I’d been keeping him and Demi updated. The day before the move the Smart Carriers team came and loaded up 60-70% of our house. The team were great, polite, professional and took great care with our belongings and putting down protective matting through our house (both old and new) when loading and unloading. The day of the move we were out of the house by 11:30am in time for completion. I can’t praise the team enough. Great service from start to finish and when some garden furniture cushions got misplaced and later found, David brought them by the house himself! Just excellent from start to finish and very reasonably priced on top!!

I required a removal and storage company to collect and store some furniture while I had work done at home and found David Smart on Checkatrader. After initial contact he quickly arranged a video call to see how much furniture needed to be removed and stored. He then gave me some option and provided quotes. After agreeing a quote I arranged a collection date and time with Demi in the office. The van and the guys turned up on time and quickly collected the items and carefully put them on the van. These were held in storage for 12 weeks. I contacted Demi and arranged for the furniture to be returned and again the van and guys turned at the agreed time. Carefully returned the items, which were returned in the same condition they left. Excellent service throughout, highly recommended

Our two day move was planned by David. On the day, the team, led by Ade, arrived punctually. Immediately, we were made to feel at ease. Protective film was laid everywhere in the house. All large items and the glass and mirrors were then wrapped excellently and securely by Mick and the team. Josh, Milton and Ade were back and forth and the truck was packed expertly under the watchful eye of Ade. The house was mostly emptied in no time. On completion morning, the final bits were loaded and secured and the truck set off. At the destination, the same service received as at collection. I cannot recommend this Company highly enough. Great professional Job, Super efficient friendly team and worth six stars if I could give them Thanks again Smart Carriers, much appreciated.

Smart carriers handled my housemove in a very efficient and effective manner. Contact with the office was straightforward and friendly. Everything was executed as we agreed. Packing, loading and unloading was not only very quickly, but my furniture was even better after than before as all nuts and bolts were tightened again :). I hope not to have to move in the near future, but if I do I would ask Smart Carriers again.

David and his team managed my move from a three bed house to a one bed flat brilliantly. From the initial enquiry to the day of the move and after, communication was prompt and all members of the team polite, careful and helpful.

After being at the house for 45years it seemed very daunting to move. But Smart Removals quoted a great price for a full packing service. They were efficient and friendly and made the whole process very smooth and less stressful.

They showed their professionalism when there was problems with my completing which resulted in us waiting until very late afternoon but they were so reassuring, calm and not in any way rushing to get off. David and team provided a full packing and removal service from our home of 20+ years. A lot of stuff! We moved to a cottage with narrow doors and steep stairs. Smart Carriers were recommended by our Estate Agent, Kate Woodward, when we moved house from Chorleywood, Herts to Boston, Lincs in late December last year. My completion date was planned at short notice, but David was reassuring and insisted his team will be able to accommodate my move one way or another. Dave and his team helped us move house and were absolutely amazing! From booking them in, everyone was friendly, professional and very helpful. Due to a slight delay of our exchange date, we had to change the day that the team were booked in and this was done seamlessly and without query. Our items were going in to storage rather than a house but they took the time to advise us of what storage locker would be the correct size and packed everything away neatly and efficiently. Smart Removals were recommended to me and I am so pleased they were. I asked them to quote alongside two other companies. Their quote was competitive and Dave and Julia responded to all my queries. A team of three came to pack up one day and move me the next. At all times they were extremely professional, polite and I couldn't have asked for more. Everything was very well packed. They covered exterior doors with protective covers, protective covers on all mattresses and I couldn't have wished for more care than they took. They loaded very efficiently in Hertfordshire and unloaded in Hampshire and were on their way home by 2.30. I highly recommend them, they are competitive, extremely efficient and just a great team who worked well together and very hard.

We used a comparison site for our removal company, and was immediately struck by the polite and non-invasive mail sent from Smart Carriers introducing themselves. David visited and immediately put us at ease regarding the packing and removal process. His crew loaded calmly and quickly prior to the actual day, and arrived promptly on the removal day. They were cheery and nothing was too much trouble, even having to wait a while to gain entry to the new house. Everything was put in the right place, assembled correctly and, more amazingly, there was nothing damaged! I would definitely recommend the company from the good experience I had.

I contacted Smart Carriers via BAR. Dave and Julia responded promptly to my queries. We had a two day move. First day to pack and load and Martin and his team were just amazing. The second day was supposed to be just unload but, completion was delayed by a day, so the second day the team had to wait for us to get keys, 5pm!! The team had to sit around from 10am but were great, they worked hard and effectively when the time came to unload. Highly recommend Smart Carriers. Thank you all who were involved.
