We had a site visit book but our boiler finally packed in so Southgate & Culham (Nikki) helped out by giving us a quote over the phone confirmed that our choice of boiler (Worcester Bosch ) were market leaders. Kevin then arrived 0n time to confirm all the details ,the quote came out cheaper than we though which in the light of our position (no hot water etc) was very refreshing. 3 days later Wayne the fitter arrived again on time and proceeded to fit our new boiler with no hassle or stress at any time just great re-assurance. The whole experience from start to finish has been 100% positive, and we feel very pleased to have been dealt with in such a totally professional way by a totally professional company.

This company installed my central heating system and a new boiler in 2012 and have serviced it ever since. They have always been efficient, reliable and a pleasure to welcome into my house. Kevin and Nicky were recommended by friends to install a new boiler. We are delighted with their service and the system. We are due to start some major renovation work and ideally would have installed a new boiler later. However, we needed heating and Kevin was very understanding of our situation as was very flexible in the way he approached the job. The job was completed within agreed timescales and budget. A minor issue after installation was resolved quickly and willingly. We would have no hesitation in recommending Southgate and Cullum.

The engineer cleaned our boiler very well considering how sooty it was she did an excellent job and didn’t charge me the extra it should have been.

Kevin removed a radiator prior to replastering work. It was on time and budget. Kevin is always friendly; he remembers year to year what he has done previously. On the time that something went wrong he fixed it promptly and free of charge.

We recently had our old oil boiler serviced and several expensive spare parts replaced. Shortly afterward, unfortunately, decided to gurgle for a few days and then completely gave up the ghost. Understandably due to the current health situation, it seemed to be impossible to get anyone to come out to see what the problem was until we contacted Southgate and Culham. On hearing that we had no heating or hot water, and the emersion heater did not work either, despite it being a very busy period Nikki arranged for an engineer to call within a few days. As repairing the boiler was no longer an option we decided to have it totally replaced. All the team pulled out all the stops to get us a quote and fit the new boiler within a week from initially diagnosing the problem. The engineers arrived four days after the call out, Kevin and Wayne, who were both very friendly and professional and adhered to the current recommendations regarding COVID 19. The boiler was fitted and the degree of efficiency and competency was second to none. We would not hesitate to recommend this firm and their phone number is definitely now on our speed dial.

I received very prompt attention when first contacting Southgate & Culham, including a visit to ascertain the problem with my boiler. Once a new boiler was decided it was installed within the week.
