Not only were Squab the best value, they were also professional, flexible and responsive and they did a great job. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout. I don't usually do reviews, but it was such an excellent service that I am making an exception. Highly recommended!

From start to finish the Squab team did their best to fit in with our needs and the crew, led by Matt and Simon, all worked extremely hard. They also worked fast but accurately - we had no breakages or missed items at all. It was a pleasure working with them - I’d have no hesitation in using them for any future moves.

Whole process generally went very well Process was as scheduled over 3 days , day 2 was in wet weather 3 Operatives for packing & loading , 2 for transport to new address & unloading Operatives were friendly & appeared to want to do an efficient job Both packing & unloading/ partial unpacking generally went very smoothly with only fairly minor damage occuring. Throughout the Operatives were very friendly & tried to be as helpful as possible. The work all went ahead to the agreed timescale From the initial visit to assess & cost the work through to the final move Squab appeared to be a very well run & efficient operation. Their quote for the work was not the cheapest but we had heard good reports of their operation from friends & neighbours so we followed their advice & used Squab If we undergo another house move we will cetainly get a quote from Squab

The main removal man was amazing, he was so kind to our kids when packing up, he took care over our belongings and was very calm despite a miscommunication from us about dates for moving. Squab was highly recommended to me for our packing, moving and storage needs. From the very first phone call, survey, quote to moving day itself, the Squab team have been superb. Sam and Toby arrived promptly to be greeted by a fraught, freaking out husband, (mine) and a dazed and bewildered wife. (Me!). I cannot emphasise enough just how calm, focused and kind these chaps are. Sam quickly assessed how stressed and overwhelmed my husband was and gently guided him through the day. We were moving into temporary accommodation for a few weeks, taking just what we needed, whilst Sam and Toby packed and moved everything else ready to be stored at Squab HQ. We need access to a few items before our move, (we’re moving onto a big boat!) So the guys planned the order in which our storage crate was packed to allow easy access to them once required. Sam had me review each area after they’d finished packing and moving it, to double check they’d taken exactly what we needed to be stored. No amount of panic or chaos phases these guys. The tremendous care, planning and logistical skills involved was mind blowing. We opted for the packing service and we are SO GLAD that we made this choice. Weather was miserable, raining and wet all morning, did improve in the afternoon. Got on with doing what was required. Good professionally, polite and well organised. Excellent service provided in the conditions on the day.

Squab provided a very professional removal service. They were extremely helpful, very tidy and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend them for their removals and also for there storage facility.

We used squab removals for our recent house move, I made some late changes and these were done with no issues. The two guys ( Matty and Toby) arrived Thursday morning on time and started putting down carpet protectors and door covers and then got on packing and loading the van, they didn’t stop all day other that a lunch break. The arrived again on Friday morning with Kalvin and loaded up the ready of the house. The new owner and his removal company arrived and were unpleasant and put the pressure on to get out so my husband jumped in to help out. Once we arrived at the new house, another guy (Simon) arrived to help unpack, they worked super hard to unload, build up beds and sofas. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company, the guys were friendly, polite and really hard working.

Squab moved me from Stratford Upon Avon to the south coast as well as cleared old funiture. The team were incredibly friendly & helpful. We could not recommend Squab highly enough for removals. The initial consultation with James made the thought of moving a lot less daunting than it initially had seemed and the quote and details arrived quickly. Correspondence with Vicky in the office was quick and friendly whether by email or on the phone. On the actual packing and moving days we had James, Sam, Paul, Ross & Chris looking after us and we couldn't have asked for better help. Everything they packed was done carefully and labelled clearly. Throughout the 2 days they were friendly and fun, keeping us calm and smiling when it all started to get a bit too much especially as we had the kids underfoot due to half term. They worked quickly and efficiently, asking questions as needed to make sure everything got packed as we needed it and put in the right place at the destination. A huge thanks to the whole team, we could not have done it without them.

The removal team packed and loaded a full 4 bedroom house of furniture and effects in a very efficient and professional manner. This included carefully laying protective sheeting on all floors before commencing. Items included garden furniture, flower pots and contents of the garage. Having seen the storage facility and process for temporary storage I have every confidence of the goods being secure and dry. The team were very helpful throughout and carried out the work expeditiously. I would have no hesitation in recommending Squab for their removal and storage business.

The two Squab removal men (Sam and Simon) could not have been more helpful or considerate during our two day move - taking our belongings from a rented flat to our house on one day and delivering the rest out of Squab storage on the following day. Nothing was damaged and great care was taken when manoeuvring furniture up our narrow staircase to avoid marking the walls or banisters. Everything was done with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. This is the second time we have used Squab for removals and we have had furniture in storage with them for over a year too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for either service. Thank you for all your hard work!

Squabs customer service is second to none. This is why this is the second time we’ve used them. It was truly outstanding they came out to move us 48hrs after I rang up as they were able to quote using videos. It was such a relief to be phoned on the day, and told they were on their way. They were exceptionally profession in the way they packed everything and protected all the large furniture with bags and foam. Nothing was damaged. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Couldn’t have asked for harder working removals chaps in Sam and Callum. They were both so dedicated and worked their socks off to get me out, and into the new place in the day. Incredible. They were also so sweet - really friendly guys - who put me at ease and were so kind and considerate which is exactly what you want when people are moving all you worldly goods! The guys from Squab (Chris, Toby, Serg, Simon, Liam and Sam) did a fantastic job. Their services were invaluable and I don’t know how we would have done it without them. They were friendly, polite, kind to my kids and put in two days of Herculean effort to get us moved. Before the move it was a difficult thought to pay for a full pack and move service. After it, I’m in no doubt I’d use them again in a heartbeat and actually it was good value.

Chris, Sam & Simon were very courteous and worked extremely hard on a hot day. We didn’t need the contents of a waste paper bin that got wrapped up! We were two hours later than expected leaving our previous home so it was nearly 7 in the evening by the time everything had been off loaded. By then additional help had been sought. A internal door was damaged. Removers took a photograph and I have reported it and waiting for contractor to submit a quote for repair. All in all we are very satisfied with the service and feel the price we paid was very good value.

Sam, Liam and John? were superb, great teamwork, very customer oriented and made our removal day go as well as anyone could hope for. Great expertise and very helpful. Arrived on time and nothing too much trouble. Brilliant in fact.

We used Squab for removals and have no hesitation in recommending them. They turned up on time, made a point of introducing themselves and were polite, courteous, thoughtful and extremely hardworking. They took great care at both ends of the move, putting protective covers on carpets and putting furniture into position at the new property. It was a very hot day but Sam, Liam and Matt worked tirelessly and were absolute superstars. Liam and Sam also took some goods into storage for us and stacked that fantastically well. The service at the storage facility was welcoming and thorough. We have been really impressed with the whole team. They weren’t the cheapest but the service has been excellent.

Chris, Liam and Sam were brilliant! They made moving so much less stressful, were kind to my baby boy (who was fascinated by them) and went above and beyond the ensure we had all we needed before they left. They were very respectful of both houses and ensured all floors were covered and left the rooms tidy and easy for us to move around over the couple of days they packed everything up. This was our 4th house move but first using Squab and first as a family of 4 with 2 young children, a busy life and plenty of stuff. In our reasonable experience Squab have been by far the best company to use for removals and previously we have used other household names. They are a very approachable company, they operated with flexibility to fit our schedules and all the staff we encountered were polite and understanding of our needs. We opted for a two day move with packing service, day 1 covered the majority of the work meaning day 2 felt quite relaxed. Unfortunately our keys were late, but we purchased the late key waiver (recommended, if last in chain, which we were) - this meant that the team were with us until quite late and showed patience given the circumstances - we even had the founder of the company pop by to help - showing a real team-effort. Highly recommend.

These guys were great. Simon and James on the pre-pack and they and Sam on the day. Communication all day was clear with constant checks about what needed to go where and how I wanted things positioned. They weren’t fazed by the late access to the property and the even later access to the garage (another story!) and remained calm, cheerful and very polite throughout. This is the second time I’ve used Squab for a house move and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We booked Squab at very short notice and they fitted us in to their schedule without any issue even working to our specific dates when asked. Squab crew James, Simon and Sam moved us out of our home on 2 May 2023 and James, Chris and Sam moved us into our new home on 20 June 2023. All the crew were excellent, worked calmly and efficiently and were friendly and very polite at all times. It was pouring with rain on our move in but they carried on without complaint. Our new home is a penthouse apartment with steep stairs and some heavy furniture so not an easy move in. We had a heavy dining table which they had previously dismantled and wrapped as if for export. The crew spent time resembling it correctly, difficult to realign but did not leave until they had made sure we were happy with everything. The next week the office arranged for the empty boxes to be picked up on the same day I telephoned them. Excellent service. Vicky in the office and James Bolitho Branch Manager deserve a mention too for their efficient work. Our furniture was in their storage facility for 6 weeks which again worked well with no problems. We would not hesitate to recommend Squab to friends and family.

Having been let down by another removal company the week before our move date, Squab really did save the day. Paul was extremely helpful arranging our move and very attentive from beginning to end. Simon and Liam were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were both so friendly and good humoured throughout. They packed everything very carefully and, hence, no breakages at the other end. Sam and James moved all of our furniture out of their storage and into our new house. They worked hard and with good humour. They always checked if items weren’t clearly marked, so everything went into the right place. I have used Squab before. They are great.

I have used Squab Leamington for packing and removal. The initial survey by James provided the reassurance I needed and stopped me from feeling overwhelmed. The whole process was explained clearly and a flexible solution was provided to my staged process of removal. Vicky was on hand to answer any queries and to take an order for bubble wrap for me to do some of my own packing. Chris took charge of most of the packing the day before the removal, and then the team including Chris as well as Sam and James spent a day packing and removing. The work was done with great care, all the while checking in with me and explaining how everything was to be carefully crated. The whole process was very smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend.

James from Squab provided the removal and storage quote confidently and offered solutions to manage some more difficult items. The 3 man crew on removal day James, Chris and Sam were efficient respectful and friendly making the move less stressful. The office dealt with the paperwork quickly. All our house contents are in storage with them for the next few weeks and feel confident the move to our new property will be the same good experience.

The team, led by Chris, did what they said they would when they said they would with a cheery “no problem“ approach. Definitely did not add to the stress of moving and helped the move go smoothly.

Jamie came and did our quote a few weeks before the move date, payment was a simple bank transfer This great team of Chris, James and Sam arrived on time on move day and all introduced themselves and then explained the process they would go through. They had the vans loaded up in less than 4 hours which is good going as our house is over 4 floors so lots of trips up and down! They arrived shortly after at our new house which had a little bit of a walk from the road and again all done with a smile…..despite it raining pretty much most of the day. I can 100% recommend this company and especially these 3 lads.

From the first telephone contact to the final drop off the Squab team were excellent. James made the quote process simple, especially bearing in mind it was a pick up and then drop off at 4 destinations. The online contract confirmation was straight forward and the care and consideration shown to the family which had suffered a bereavement the day of pick up very touching. Chris and Sam came today to move our belongings into storage. They were brilliant! They were very pleasant and couldn’t have been more helpful - even when finding 10 bags of stuff in the loft that we didn’t remember were there. They handled everything carefully and made sure it was properly wrapped when in the containers. Nothing was too much trouble. They left us with documents listing what was on each container in case we need access while it is in storage. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

James , Sam , Liam arrived about 9am loaded up the van , finished by 11 even in the pouring rain made it seem effortless, they were very courteous and nothing was a problem. James and Vicky were efficient at creating quotes and invoicing, with very easy payment options Paul and his box store, kept us in boxes to pack us up, even when we were running low, I was able to drop by and collect more boxes. Squab packed up 50 boxes of books from a first floor flat and moved them into storage while the room is redecorated. Having used them many times before I knew to expect a seamless and professional experience from initial enquiry to completion. They aced it yet again. Our movers, Chris and Simon, greeted me with introductions, a handshake and a smile which may seem a small gesture but instills great confidence. The two of them worked tirelessly to get this rather gruesome job done; many of the books were huge atlases. The work was completely much faster than I thought it would be. The men checked and double checked at the end that everything was done to satisfaction (it was). Really just a joy to have around and Squab just make life easier and more pleasant on days you aren’t looking forward to (have used for several house moves). I would not hesitate to recommend them. They are absolutely the best at what they do.

Liam and Simon of Squab removals arrived on time and proceeded to pack our belongings efficiently, carefully and very helpfully. After a day driving, they arrived the following morning on time to initially unpack into storage, then on to our rental home to unpack the remainder of our items. Everything was treated with care, no damage and placed exactly where we wanted. The boys were really kind and helpful. Everyone who came to pack and move me were kind, helpful and efficient. They took great care to put the furniture where I wanted it and everything was very well packed and looked after.

I used Squab to remove my furniture end of April 2022 and then store it until August 2022 and deliver to my new home. Great communication, competitive quote, excellent removal staff. Great care was taken in packing my China and large mirrors & mirror furniture. My floors, carpets, bannisters were protected. The staff were very considerate in removing & later placing my furniture etc & very patient with my requests whilst doing so! Can’t recommend this company enough. My new neighbour told me he’d used Squab and felt the same.

From very first contact with this company, there were impressive. They arranged a very quick meeting with Paul, who organised the move from start to finish . Mathew arrived on 21st to begin packing, despite being in considerable discomfort he carried out his work, with consideration and politeness. The whole team provided a very good service. All of the admin prior to the move was handled efficiently. The actual move went very well overall & the removal team worked extremely hard to get everything moved. They were polite & easy to work with. There were a couple of breakages which the crew did not deal with as openly as I would have liked - but in the overall scheme, I felt the service was very good.

Squab were altogether obliging and respectful of our house and possessions. When the team arrived they set to laying protective carpeting ready for the delivery. They were extremely polite and asked where things should be placed or stored. Would we use them again. Yes, we certainly would.

After nine months of many false starts, and with our belongings in storage, we finally moved in to our new home in March. Throughout this very stressful time, James Bolitho was an absolute star. He remained unflustered throughout, returned our calls promptly, amended paperwork repeatedly, and reassured us that everything would be fine. On the day of moving, the solicitors let us down by failing to make the payment on time due to 'IT problems' (eye roll) and the estate agents wouldn't release the keys. The guys from Squab (Paul and co) had arrived ahead of time and waited for hours until completion. At no time did they complain, and when they were able to move us in they did so with good humour and care, making sure that our things were placed where we wanted them. They had a long drive back to base, but didn't rush anything despite being delayed. On opening all of the boxes (in excess of forty), which had been in storage for so long, the contents were in perfect condition and nothing had been damaged. We genuinely cannot thank Squab enough for being the only part of the moving process that was stress-free, reliable and straightforward. To all of the staff at Squab (and I think I spoke to everyone at one time or another), a massive thank you!

I decided to use Squab Removals for my own move following a very satisfactory experience of their work when they moved my ninety five year old mother from her house to a ground floor apartment. The work was carried out according to plan and the operatives were very sympathetic to my mother's natural anxiety in moving home at such a great age. My own move was completed on schedule at a reasonable price and I found all Squab's representatives to be thoroughly professional and a credit to their company. As a necessary part of procurement for this work I examined for contract numerous removal companies, monitored their work, and always was present during the removals phase and at the conclusion of the contract. The removal companies had to satisfy a large number of highly demanding people and circumstances. Squab Limited is well up with the very best. Their frontline is supported by good back office and good customer communications. This Company's whole operation reflects a positive organisation with a healthy culture. Squab provided, for two pensioners leaving a home they had occupied for some 35 years to take up residence in a new location 50 miles away, a calm and stressless experience from start to finish. A very professional team indeed for which nothing was too much trouble, having to move out a week before the new house was ready was easily resolved by them arranging temporary storage without any drama at all. The packing team arrived and set about their task with minimal interaction from ourselves and the delivery and placement of our goods into our new home was just as efficient. No change being a problem either from up to down or room to room. The crew were very polite, cheerful and professional which completed our move on time and without damage or breakages. Although not a cheap experience the quality makes the expenditure worthwhile, Squab were brilliant. What a good decision we made.

This was the second occasion of using Squab Removals, the first was in 2007. I was happy to use them again because I considered Squab to be professional, pleasant and cost effective; and I wasn't disappointed. They went the extra mile prior to the moving date; enabling me to have the date I needed but with shorter notice than I would have liked to have given them. I'm happy to say the Team at Squab made moving house a breeze. A friendly, professional team of removal men packed our belongings and loaded up our furniture over two days. The guys did everything - leaving us just to make the tea as and when needed! Moving in went equally easily. Even after 4 weeks in storage, all our belongings were immaculate. We had nothing missing and no breakages. Paul and Dan were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend Squab to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy removal firm.

The two men who came to move us were tireless, efficient, experienced and friendly. Our move went without a hitch, with not a single item broken or damaged. If anyone deserves a five-star review, they do. However Squab increased the price of our move by £1000, at the last minute, blaming an error in their original quotation. This made them very expensive, but at this late stage we had little option but to pay up. They were also unable to collect their packing boxes, as they had promised to, saying we should take them to landfill! Quite apart from the waste, they were far to big for our car or bin, and so we were left with the problem of disposing of them on eBay.

We had a troublesome timetable dictated by others in which to work. Squab came up with an excellent solution which they executed to perfection. Would readily recommend Squab to anyone who is moving house.

Here we were. After a perfect packing the day before by squab and a perfect load on the move day by squab. Me, my wife and my life sat in our new squab vans outside our new house keys in my hand with the solictors green lights that we owned the new house 2hours ago. We had to sit and watch a slow, unprofessional bunch of cowboys load into a dilapidated blue 30yo lorry. The poor home owner in tears as they couldnt get all her belongings on board and "sorry but can they also come back tomorrow? for the rest"! I got other quotes and they were very similar to squabs.
