Square Deals have over the years have replaced all our windows The last two done on 14 Sep 2018 I keep going back because of the first class service they give from shop to fitters I would recommend them to anyone looking for a firm you can trust and will look after your needs

I have just had a small garden room built, I have used square deals for various work for over 20 years. I have always been very happy from start to finish, some of the fitters have worked for them for many years, they are very efficient, clean and tidy workmen. would highly recommend, I always feel like I get good value for money

This is the second job that square deals have done for me and it has been a pleasure to work with them again. All the staff with whom I have come in contact during the replacement of 5 windows and a door and frame have been very helpful and the work was done exactly according to the quotation and in the time scale given. Their fast efficient service is to be highly recommended and I have no hesitation in doing so. Both office staff and the fitters were pleasant at all times.

Two bay windows replaced and a pair of french doors! Excellent process flow from initial contact to installation of what are very good products. Loyalty discount as returning customer. Contract paperwork straightforward, covering pertinent points and thoroughly setting out the business and quotation in plain English. Efficient work at premises carried out in a neat and timely manner with hardly any cleaning up after the polite fitters left. All debris removed from site for disposal. True, further visits were required just to finish off the work to the required standards. However, to this end there was no quibble to points I raised as requiring attention in order to fully accept installation and pay in full. High focus on customer service, quality of product and good working relationship with the customer. A local company that deserves to serve the city long term.

Square Deals did excellent work for me at my previous home. Today they fitted a new front door in my new home. It turned out to be hard work getting the old door frame off but they did a fabulous job. The door itself is brilliant and I'm more than pleased with it. The fitting was done with great care and attention and the finishing off, both internally and externally, is faultless. They very kindly removed the existing wall-mounted external mail box (I couldn't shift one of the screws) and they also pointed up the holes where it had attached to the wall - it's an invisible pointing job so I'm very pleased. I visited their premises in York twice and always found the staff very helpful - and patient - as I considered the options. Exceedingly delighted with the result and, again, impressed with all aspects of the process. 5* recommendation.

This is the third time that we've used Square Deals. On this occasion we have had two additional windows fitted plus replacement fascia and soffits. As previously the work has been done to a very high standard, on time and with no mess. All the staff including the fitting team are polite and helpful. We highly recommend this business.

Our main shop door broke during the run up to Christmas. We could not lock our premises properly. This was a major problem for us as we are butchers and Christmas is our busiest time of year. We had a lot of stock on our premises which we couldn't secure. Also we were into Christmas week and about to have the heaviest footfall through our door of the year and the door could not be used. Square deals came out within 2 hours of us calling them, temporarily secured our door and within 2 days we had a new door fitted. We feel we had excellent service from the whole of the Square Deal team.

Square Deals' quote for 3 new doors was much lower than the one from a well-known national company. They were friendly and helpful throughout the ordering and finding a suitable date for the work. One the day, the workers arrived early and worked hard even though the temperature outside was sub-zero. They tidied up thoroughly and completed the installations to our satisfaction more quickly than expected.

Window companies get a bad reputation, mostly justified and there are so many of them. Square Deals are different, they deserve a fantastic reputation. A couple of neighbours in our street had work done and had problems, so we invited Square Deals to quote and we are so glad we chose them. From the initial visit to the installers leaving site, everyone we met was friendly and polite. No hard sell, no chasing, nothing bad at all. Just professional information and a competitive price. The installation team were top drawer. 2 experienced hands and a young lad, it was a pleasure to have them in the house. They treated our property with the upmost respect and even though it was a messy process, they cleaned up and ensured the house was left tidy everyday. The end result is superb, the quality of workmanship was excellent and the product of a very high quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Square Deals, we are extremely happy we chose them.

Just had a new composite door fitted at the front of the house and a UPVC at the back. The workmen arrived when they said they would, had the doors fitted in no time and both doors look great. Really happy with the quality of service and the product provided. Would never look anywhere else. Thank you to all the team.

Excellent service and a competitive price. Friendly staff that were not pushy and left us to review the estimate in our own time. Gave helpful suggestions that assisted us in making a choice. Both the builders for the foundation/ base and the conservatory erectors were friendly and approachable and kept us informed at each stage and at the close of each day. Price was as quoted and where the base could use existing materials the builders identified this and reduced the original estimate. No issues and they tidied up leaving a clean site. Would not hesitate in recommending them.
