Had a replacement window fitted in bedroom,salesman very pleasant,competitive price. The fitters were very quick and did a good job and didn't leave any mess.Went to Square Deals after a recommendation from a neighbour and they didn't disappoint,I would certainly recommend.

From start to finish great service from all parties. From initially speaking to the office (Michelle)arranging for someone to come and quote to John coming out to see me for 1st Measuring. John explained things very well to me...he certainly knows his stuff. Lads came 8am 6th June as I was told they would. Very tidy workers ...dust mats down ...even brought a Henry Hoover with them. I would highly recommended Square Deal. They'll be coming back to me soon ...New door next job. Excellent service. Thank you 😊

Having looked at numerous companies to fit and supply a new composite front door, we called into Square Deals Ltd in York when we were passing one day. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us what was available in our price range and took the time to talk us through a range of options. At no stage did we feel under any pressure to buy but we liked the products we were shown and were told clearly what was included in the ‘deal’ we opted for: ie type of glass and door accessories. Communication was excellent from our first visit to the showroom to the actual day of installation. The door was fitted on the agreed day by two pleasant young men and everything was completed to a high standard. We would definitely recommend this company.

When we decided to replace our front door and side panel we googled "composite doors near me" and Square Deals came out as the nearest so we called into the showroom after looking at their website and reading all the good reviews. We were impressed with everybody we dealt with from Barry who talked us through our options and suggested a slightly wider door (which we hadn’t considered), Emma who dealt very promptly with a requested change of glass in our quotation and arranged a fitting date, Craig who came out to measure up and check our order to James and the team who turned up bang on 8.30 am and fitted the new front door and side panel with very little mess and tidied up as they went along. The door and glass side panel look great. It remains to be seen if they last as long as the previous ones (28 years) but, if they do, I will be even happier!

In less than a month, from ordering 2 replacement windows we have experienced excellent communication with everyone involved with replacing these windows. Windows replaced 20/11/25 by James, Mike and Liam fantastic team polite courteous respectful of our property, worked quickly and efficiently and left the finished job tidy and clean. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Square Deals replaced 7 windows and 2 doors in my property. The service I received from start to finish was excellent. They always did what they said they would do on the day they specified. Everyone I met was helpful, conscientious and polite. They took pride in the work that they did. I am delighted with the results and the help I had making the initial decisions on what would work best for me. I would not hesitate to recommend the company in terms of the staff and the work undertaken.

This company replaced some 16 windows and patio door in our Georgian Villa. The design matched the originals, which were in various states of depreciation. Having obtained 4 quotes all from Which recommended traders, visiting their showroom and doing extensive research, we came to the conclusion that this company offered the best deal. The quote was considerably less than the others (they were offering 20% discount) and they were the only company who didn’t require a deposit, but payment on satisfactory completion. On such a big job this was extremely helpful due to the time from placing the order to completion. This was several weeks but in part due to our summer holiday . The workers turned up as arranged, 2 on the first day and 4 on the following 3. The whole job was completed in 5 days. The chaps were polite and hard working and cleared up really well at the end of each day. The completed job looks wonderful, and original to the house, so we are looking forward to a warmer winter!

I had 8 windows and a composite door fitted by Square Deals. The door was a bespoke colour, but they were still able to start work earlier than the quoted date which was great. The fitters were very professional, always laying dust sheets and vacuuming up every time they left for the day. The windows and doors are even better than I had hoped for. Highly recommended.

Superb product at a good price! From first stepping into the show room we felt very welcome and at no time was there any pushy sales talk, discussed our requirements, Visited a few days later to measure up for a quote, which was sent a few days later. Once we decided to proceed (possible 2 weeks +) we went to place the order, arrangements were made for the surveyor to visit who talked though our requirements, and confirmed our needs. Six to seven weeks later (as arranged the fitters arrived) who we found very friendly and very professional, the work was carried out to a high standard, taking great care no too damage decorations etc, the finish to our 2 bays and two other windows look excellent, we are really please with all the team at Square Deal Windows at York and would have no problems with fully recommending them to others.

Front door and sliding patio door both needed replacing. We were impressed from the time the surveyor came round to discuss what we wanted and measure up, to the time the fitting team did the job (and cleaned up afterwards). Brilliant. Would not hesitate to recommend this firm.

Just had two doors fitted excellent quality, fit and finish outstanding. Fitters did a great job (including the social distancing of these times).

We have just had both a front and rear door fitted by this company. From our first contact with them in their showroom in York we were impressed by their helpful, informal and friendly (but not over-familiar) attitude and that continued through the home assessment and measuring visits and the final installation. The lead time was much shorter than they had warned it might be and we are delighted with the final result. The doors look tremendous, fit perfectly, and open and close smoothly. Well done to all concerned. We shall return!

Just had 12 new windows fitted by Square Deals and the whole process went so smoothly. The fitting team of James, Steve and Pete were brilliant. We were asked every step of the way if we were happy with their work, which we were. We were amazed at how little mess the fitters made considering we had new windows in every room. Just had an external bi-fold door fitted. The door was delivered within quoted timeframe and we were given 4 days notice of fitting. Work was completed quickly, well and importantly, cleanly, Price was exactly as quoted. We have no hesitation in recommending Square Deals and in fact have ordered several more new windows hopefully to be fitted Sept/Oct. Great service all round.

Very satisfied with the installation of two new doors to my house, would definitely recommend this company. The whole process was smooth, especially at this difficult time, I was offered advice on what would work but never felt I was being pushed to have extra features that I didn't need. The quality of workmanship is very good, and the areas were left tidy afterwards. Great local service, cheers everyone!
