We selected this company based on great customer reviews and have not been disappointed. The feedback received to date is well deserved. The service has been just excellent as is the standard of work on the finished product - a new front door and porch frontage. Communication was excellent throughout in all our dealings with sales, all appointments, measure up and then fitting. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Square Deals responded quickly to our request for a quote, and happy to quote for both a double and triple glazed argon window. Our request to replace the windowsill with one that would be wide enough to allow for 100mm insulation added to the inside of the wall was no problem. They also took on board our rather complicated contact details - different numbers for different days of the week. The work was done quickly, efficiently and with minimal mess. My only quibble is that I would have liked the quote to have included the VAT.

I had 11 windows replaced and I was very pleased with the service from start to finish. Barry came out to give me a quote which was very competitive and he was very knowledgeable about the product and was the only person to mention the dummy sashes which I would recommend. I called into the showroom to look at the patterned glass for the bathrooms and again he was very helpful. I had a surveyor to measure up accurately then the work took place earlier than quoted. The fitters, James and Steve, did an excellent job and were very conscientious about putting dust sheets down etc. and a supervisor came to the house a couple of times while the work was underway to check that everything was going well. We had a number of conversations about the surrounds and sills so they ensured that I got the result that I wanted. The work was completed to a very high standard and I could not be happier. I paid the full amount on completion and would not hesitate to recommend Square Deals. I will use again when I can afford new doors.

We had a dormer window and an ageing conservatory roof replaced. We were very impressed by the meticulous way in which both measuring and fitting were carried out.

We live in a period property and therefore it was not possible to have double glazing fitted. We were nervous about how good the period windows would look when covered by secondary glazing. We were assured that the units would not compromise the look of our windows and they were absolutely right. We are delighted with the final result, including secondary glazing for a very large bay window. They block out the road noise (we live on a very busy main road) and keep the house warm. In addition, the team at Square Deals are fantastic from David and Emma who dealt with admin issues to Barry, the salesman, Craig who came to measure up, James and Mike who fitted the units and Donald who came to problem-solve as our house because of its age was not a straightforward job. We are delighted with our experience and the product.

I have used Square Deals Ltd for several years to replace sash windows. I am delighted with the windows and service received on each occasion. The most recent was installing a window where an old wooden cellar door was. The fitters arrived promptly, are always polite and fitted the new tilt turn window efficiently, leaving everything tidy. It looks amazing! Having used Square Deals over a length of time I really like that the staff rarely change - they are professional, know their trade and do a really good job every time. Square Deals are also extremely competitive price wise. I would be very reluctant to use another company as the service from start to finish is always so good.

We had all our windows and outside doors replaced. From the very outset this company was great to deal with and inspired complete confidence. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and friendly but not at all pushy. The quote came in very swiftly and included all the information we needed. The office staff were pleasant and accommodating. The fitting team did a great job and worked in our home with care, consideration and professionalism. I really couldn't fault this company and it's staff, from start to finish.

We would like to thoroughly recommend Square Deals Ltd. We ordered a new composite front door from them. The service was friendly, fast and efficient from the initial order through the survey to the fitting. The two fitters James and Pete did a fabulous job. Despite the door frame being tricky to install, around some existing gas and electrical pipes, they completed the job safely and tidily. We are incredibly happy and would not hesitate to use them again for any windows or doors.

We've had Square Deals twice before - they were recommended on our local FB forum - and once again they've come up trumps. Previously we've had a patio door replaced, then bathroom window & a front door with stained glass. Everything looks lovely! This time the fitters replaced our back door, garage door & a window. The standard is excellent, they work so efficiently, and are courteous and communicative. It's easy to contact the office and to ask questions, and their surveyor is skilled & proficient - we've asked & followed his good advice about design. It's all excellent value. This was the last set of windows to be done for our bungalow and Square Deal have done them all. They were recommended to us by our son-in-law and we have not been disappointed. All work has been done to the highest level and on this occasion a request was carried out for us regarding a fascia board over the garage door. Not only was the job accepted but it was carried out on the same day, thus reducing a team of three to two for the main job and with no lack of efficiency and care. We can thoroughly recommend this Company and all their workers.

I was very happy with the work and the gentlemen did a great job. They were tidy and friendly. I am very happy with the replacement of the window and the removal of the old window and frame. I would recommend Square Deals to people who live in York.
