Jamie came to see us after me finding him on this site. From the first conversation we had about an issue with the house that no one else would touch or was going to charge us a fortune we knew we had found someone we could trust. Since then Jamie and his team have come in and done a fantastic job doing up our bedroom ( and also happily fixed the odd jobs that needed doing which have given me such peace of mind and I could feel my mental health getting better- like a sigh of relief ) which had not been done for 20 years. It looks amazing now and Jamie did what was needed to make it physically structurally sound and look fantastic - he did not take easy option of replastering / using plasterboard which would have been easy for him at a cost to us. We have given Jamie a whole list of big jobs to do knowing we can totally trust him and his team to do a wonderful job. He is extremely meticulous. We feel very comfortable with them being in our home and that included times when I was not well. I can really not recommend them highly enough with words. Truly one of a kind and fab when there are so many cowboys out there to find someone like Jamie.

My parents in law are old and immobile, urgently needing their failed lighting to work overnight with only a few hours notice. Despite several other electricians considering they could/would not help (even when they'd previously completed paid work at the address), Jamie and his colleague didn't hesitate to help after their full days work in West London on a very hot day, and missing their Dinner! They were very friendly and communicative before and during the investigation/resolution and were keen to hear back from me the next day to confirm everything remained in good shape. Nice one! (or two in this case :o) )

Returning from holiday at Christmas we found a pool of water in the hall with no sign of a leak. I contacted Jamie and he came round at the first opportunity. The leak was difficult to find but was discovered and fixed. After a period to allow the area to dry Jamie came back and mould proofed and made good the damaged area. The work and making good required four visits to the property all of which were on time. The work was completed well and at a reasonable cost. Jamie had a good rapport with us and kept us fully informed about what he was doing and how the job was progressing.

We asked Standing Building Services for a quote on soak always and because they did such a great job (made the garden and patio look like new and even took care of the plants) we asked them to renovate our downstairs and 2 bathrooms. They took amazing care of the house, did a great quality job with all aspects from laying floors, installing a new kitchen, rebuilding walls as well as a lot of groundwork’s to safeguard against any water problems. The quality of the tiling and installation work is amazing Added to this, they are very clear about what needs to be done and give options which really helped us plan the work needed. They also left the place clean and I really do mean clean. We had a couple of very tricky things to do including some floor hatches which were perfectly executed and a number of difficult custom items which they made. Would not hesitate to use them again and fully recommend them.

Jamie and his team renovated our entire house. We selected him after having received quotes from 3 other building services and chose him because he was the only one to follow through with all aspects of the quote we agreed upon. From that moment on we relied upon him for more than simply renovating the house. He became a trusted adviser to us in the process of selecting the aesthetic, layout, design of virtually every aspect of our home. His approach was not that of a salesman trying to sell us the most he could and he would often come up with cost effective suggestions where we were originally requesting expensive work that would ultimately add little value. The few times we acted against his advice we have regretted. He told me you can't have enough power outlets. I disagreed and now am trying to figure out where to plug all my devices! The work was done in a timely manner, the only reason I would say the work wasn't completed by the original quoted date is that we were so impressed with the level of craftsmanship and service that he and his team provided we wanted more work done. By the time all the work was finished we ended up having ordered roughly 40% more work that was originally outside of the scope of what we wanted to achieve. I have recommended him to both friends and family and look forward to the opportunity to working with them again in the future if we decide to move house or make additional changes to our home.

Jamie and his team did a fantastic job of working with us to transform our rundown kitchen in Camberley into a real feature. We met about 5 candidates before we selected SBS. It was clear that Jamie was our man from those conversations - his experience and candour stood out from the rest. Also our works included removing a load bearing wall and changing the floor plan around a bit. The other builders / fitters we met all insisted that we first get an engineer in to do the calculations. Jamie was alone in offering to manage that part on our behalf. As we were in the process of moving out of country, this level of project management was extremely welcome throughout the project. Jamie and team also scored some brownie points for their flexible approach. We changed a few things around during the build, including extending the new flooring which was originally only meant to cover the kitchen, but during fitting we decided to extend this to cover the laundry and dining rooms. Bottom line: when we move back to the area we will certainly be reaching out to Jamie for any home improvement needs.
