I asked Steve to replace some taps and check for a leak under my bath. He came promptly, was quick and neat, and gave some sensible advice about the potential leak. Would definitely recommend.

New Boiler Installation

I contacted Steve as he is a Viessmann boiler (Which Best Buy September 2017) trained and listed fitter. He came around promptly to view the current arrangement and the new location as I wanted the new boiler fitted in the loft. We agreed the work to be carried and he quoted for it a week later. Steve arrived to carry out the work as arranged and worked hard to complete the installation in good time. The quality of workmanship is very good and was carried out professionally, with minimal mess and disruption. Steve took into account the additional work that I am carrying out on the heating and water system, advising on approach and even fitting extra valves to facilitate the work. The operation of the boiler and controls was fully explained to our satisfaction. We have retained Steve to carry out the annual service and I will have no hesitation recommending his services to anyone in the future.

I initially contacted Steve to fix a problem I had with my W.C. He fixed this really quickly and I asked if he would be able to install a shower over an existing bath. A previous plumber had told this could not be done... Steve assessed the job rapidly and he helped to suggest a range of products including an ideal mixer tap, shower rail and riser. When the original choice of tap didn’t work out, he was amazing and persevered with it all until we got exactly the right thing. The work he carried out is faultless and he is invariably polite, efficient and highly skilled. I would strongly recommend Steve and his services. He could not have done it better and his terms are very reasonable.

I contacted Steve to fit a new boiler at my elderly mother’s house. He gave me a reasonable quote and even though the job wasn’t the most straightforward and there were a few complications along the way, the price remained as quoted. He was easy to contact when I had queries and did his genuine best to deal with a few issues we had with the heating system which were not easy to identify because my mother has short term memory loss and information was a bit unreliable! Steve stayed tolerant and helpful throughout. His personal service is excellent. An honest and reliable tradesman.

Steve installed a replacement new gas boiler and serviced our pressurized heating system. He is reliable, arrived when he said he would, kept us informed at all times and is very thorough, clean and tidy. His work is to a very high standard and we will certainly use him again.

When Steve first visited us, he quickly diagnosed the most likely faults in our old boiler and gave us options for repair or replacement. When we asked for a replacement, he quickly sent us a financial quote and a proposed start date. When we accepted the quote, he turned up on the proposed date and worked in a thoroughly professional and personable way. He fitted a new Which? Best Buy boiler. He kept the work space clean and tidy and he finished the job in the allotted time. He even discovered and isolated a gas leak, which we hadn't known about. My wife and I would recommend Steve to any householder in Exeter or East Devon.
