I have used Steve as our plumber/heating engineer for a few years now. I find him very polite, friendly, and very helpful and conscientious in his work; nothing is too much trouble to help us sort out any problems we have. He has just installed a new boiler and radiator for us, which has gone very smoothly in the installation of both items. Nothing is too much trouble, very clean and tidy, always on time, and works a full day without stopping. Definitely recommend you won’t be disappointed.

Steve fitted our new gas boiler a year ago and now it's had it's first service. He is a very efficient worker and knows exactly what he is doing. In this day and age, it's nice to find a reliable person who comes when he says he will. He is also tidy, clearing up and removing any mess. I can thoroughly recommend and trust him.

I had originally met Stephen after having a Viessmann gas boiler installed (by another contractor) ten years ago and needed help. Stephen is Viessmann trained and knew what he was doing. I have employed him ever since for servicing and he has just installed a new Viessmann boiler for me. He is courteous, helpful and punctual. I also feel confident leaving him on his own when I've had to go out. He has cleaned up thoroughly after finishing and made sure the whole system is working well. He has also been very helpful setting up the App so I can now control my heating via my smartphone, which will be a new experience. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Contacted Steve on Monday and gave him details of the problem, he contacted me later to confirm he had sourced the relevant part that needed replacing and arranged to come next day. He has completed the work and explained what the cause was. I have used Steve to service my gas boiler for the last few years and he is always prompt, he’s polite and friendly and always explains what he is doing.

Everything that you expect from a top supplier: professional, punctual, responsive, transparent and fair pricing, and delivers what he promises. In addition, you also get everything that you would ideally like to see from a top supplier: superb attitude, high standard of finishing, very tidy and extremely trustworthy. Despite it being Christmas, Stephen sourced and fitted a new boiler with the minimum of hassle and the maximum of speed. Very highly recommended.

Steven came over at short notice to look at my mum's boiler which was leaking, and which turn out to have completely corroded inside as was very old. He immediately ordered a new one and came 3 days later to fit it. He was in the house for two days, fitting and testing the boiler, which involved crawling around in a small loft space to get to the tank. He was relaxed and unfazed by a few problems that came up - he sorted everything out, including going out and getting some additional parts - without any grumbles or complaints. He put sheets down and was very quiet and clean whilst working, and was also very kind and courteous to my elderly mum. Very happy with his work, a lovely guy and highly recommend.

I asked Steve to have a look at an issue with my washing machine and to service my boiler. He arrived promptly, sussed out the problem with the former and carried out the service in good time - but thoroughly. He was polite and sociable while here and an absolute delight. I've only recently moved into the property and my DIY skills are legendarily woeful anyway, and now I have confidence the boiler is all fixed up before the nights turn cold this autumn. I can highly recommend Steve based on my experience. Lovely guy.

When I first called Stephen he came in 10 minutes and was so helpful! He then returned yesterday to install a new boiler for me and I couldn’t have had a better guy! So nice and worked so hard in my attic which was a very difficult place but he never complained just did the job! I would most certainly recommend him!

This was the first time we have used Steve Gill's services and we weren't disappointed. He came to service our boiler and also fix a few other minor plumbing jobs. He arrived on time, did an excellent job and his bill was also fairly priced. We plan on using Steve again for our annual boiler service and any other unforeseen plumbing/heating problems that occur in the future. Definitely recommend Steve.

Stephen performed an annual central heating boiler service on a system that he installed 5 years ago. This was arranged by phone yesterday for 9am today. Stephen arrived dead on time and completed the work in his usual efficient manner. The work done was documented with an email copy. Advice was given about the positioning of the wireless controller/thermostat to achieve a better temperature balance across the property. Future work to upgrade some radiator TRV’s was also discussed. Always happy to recommend Stephen to friends and neighbours for central heating work.

The work Steve undertook involved removing an existing conventional hot water and central heating boiler system, and replacing it with a new combi boiler system. As requested, Steve quoted for two Worcester models and warranty periods, so I could choose the option that best suited my requirement. His work was fast, neat, completed on time, to specification and to the price quoted. His work was thoroughly professional and in my opinion, very good value for money. I will certainly use Steve again for any future central heating or plumbing jobs that I require.

I'd been experiencing some problems with a Viessman gas boiler and, after a visit from the manufacturers engineer, some recommendations were made relating to the system. I looked on line for a Viessman trained engineer and found Stephen. He arrived when he said he would. I was happy to accept a reasonable verbal quote from him and he carried out the work within a week or two. Sadly, one of the modifications didn't quite work as it should but it was a month or two before I noticed it. Stephen came, made recommendations which, sadly, didn't solve the problem. My solution would have been to replace the malfunctioning part but this quiet man is a thinker; he dug deeper, and came up with the solution. I feel my boiler will be in safe hands from now on.

My boiler broke down this December and I struggled to get someone out, but luckily Steve was available. From the very start he was really responsive, professional and friendly. When he arrived he took a thorough look over the boiler and started a logical process of elimination which he talked me through. I found this reassuring as I could tell he really did have a lot of experience and was completely transparent with me at all times about potential costs etc. After replacing the two necessary parts the boiler started to work properly again. He was really fair and honest as well as being enjoyable to chat to as well, which makes a big difference to me. If I am going to have a tradesman in my house it's always appreciated when it's someone that you can have a sensible conversation with. I will not only use Steve again for any similar boiler or plumbing problems, I will also be recommending him to others very highly. Thanks Steve.

Absolutely delighted with the job. I cannot recommend Mr Gill highly enough. ******. Steve commissioned and fitted a new boiler for me in an awkward location fitting a new flue with no mess or fuss all priced as quoted. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly Steve kept me updated on progress from quote to completion. He ensured that I was happy and confident with how the timer / programmer functions work, which is simple now I know how. My new A efficiency boiler with 10 year warranty was fitted, tested, registered and working ahead of schedule and Steve left the place cleaner than it was before. One of my neighbours passed by and mentioned during the job that Mr Gill is well respected and known for the high standard of his work. I'm more than confident to recommend Steve Gill to friends and family myself. 6* Very hardworking honest and tidy plumber and heating engineer. Already asked him to do the annual maintenance next year.

What a lovely, helpful cheerful man. We have used Steve now 3 times working at 2 properties. Nothing seemed to much trouble or challenging for him. Plus a clean worker who just gets on with his job. Mug of tea helps! Also Steve always gets back to you if you phone him.

Stephen quoted promptly to replace our old CH boiler and quickly gave a date for the start of work. He arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently with very little disruption until the job was completed. He was polite and knowledgeable. He tidied up well both during and after the installation. A really good job and done to budget. I would thoroughly recommend him. I will use him to service my installation in the future.
