This delightful team installed solar panels for us 8 years ago, and we were so pleased with the team then that we came right back to them this time for an air source heat pump, more panels, and an EV charger. Also to consider a battery. Their prices are competitive. The team members are well chosen: skilled, personable, friendly and helpful. All knowing their job well and doing their best to fit in with us during the installation, they have also responded early about post-installation questions. We are very pleased indeed with the results and thoroughly recommend Sunlight Futures.

Sunlight Future were recommended by our son, who had his system installed by them. Sunlight Future installed 12 solar PV panels, inverter and 5Kw battery. We had two quotations for the work, and although the other quote was a few hundred less, we felt Sunlight Future offered much more in the way of information, advice and general customer service. For instance, they suggested panels on both sides the roof (east and west elevations), and gave us lots of detail about potential yields from the panels etc., as well as suggesting the ideal location for inverter and battery. This feeling was confirmed when they contacted us with a date for the installation. The scaffolding went up as promised. The equipment was installed on the date promised and all was done over just 2 days; the system was up and running on 30th January 2024. The staff were very helpful - the office staff and the installers - and the work was done efficiently and carefully. We were shown how to instal and use the App to monitor the system and were reassured about contacting them in the event of any problems. The scaffolding was removed 2 days later. We have experienced no problems so far, but we feel sure we would get a prompt response should we need to contact them. So, we were very satisfied with the service and would certainly recommend Sunlight Future.

I used Sunlight futures for a Powerwall and Solar PV install. During the survey they took stock of my needs and provided a competitive quote. They delighted on the install by ensuring the cabling neat, hidden, and kept the site tidy at all times. Post install I had an issue, this could have been grid or install, their support was great, they helped with contacting the grid and product suppliers. It was resolved quickly and now I am generating more green electricity, often I find how a company deals with issues is a telling sign of how a company is geared up, Sunlight took clear ownership and provided great customer service. Their customer install portal is also a great touch, easy to use and understand. The only negative, and this is a tiny one, is the odd time I had to chase up, but given the complexity of these installs it is 100% understandable, just the amount of paperwork they generate is mind boggling (certs for everything). Literally everyone I have spoken to at Sunlight is geared towards the customer, I would 100% recommend them.

I had PV solar panels installed at my home in 2014 but it was only recently that I decided to augment the system with a high-capacity storage battery as well. There were several alternatives available to me, but it soon became obvious that the TESLA PowerWall2 battery was just what I was looking for. It was at this point that I contacted Sunlight Future who not only visited my home to discuss how best to install such a battery, but their competitive quotation included for TESLA’s Gateway 2 backup energy management system as well. My experience with Sunlight Future has been exemplary throughout and they deserve every success. I have found them to be a very friendly, helpful and conscientious group of people and they are to be congratulated for doing such an excellent job. I knew nothing about Air Source Heat Pumps when I first contacted Sunlight Futures. From my first phone contact with them until the work was done they have been brilliant. They were efficient, tidy, funny, friendly and professional. Clearly a group of people who work well together. Not only were they helpful with the installation, but with advice about the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive application process. So far so very good. I'm enjoying the results of their efforts as I type on this cold day.

I chose Sunlight Future as they had previously installed my voltaic panels and were very efficient and professional. Mine is a small older house in a conservation area. Part of the system had to be away from the house so groundwork was needed and a whole range of ‘out of the box thinking to fit the indoor system. They excelled themselves. I was kept informed at all stages with my needs taking precedence. They always arrived on time with the materials and personnel they needed that day. Hence no time was wasted. Although obviously there needed to be major adjustments in the house, the disruption was kept to a minimum and always left clean and tidy by evening. After service has been excellent with advice, either by phone or a personal visit. Sunlight Future strives to be customer centered and it shows!

I chose Sunlight Future due to the reviews posted here and I wasn't disappointed. I first spoke to them about what I wanted and over the space of a month I had them change the spec 3 times before I committed. Everything was discussed in detail and they declined to sell me something I thought I needed but didn't. Once I committed everything happened with a couple of weeks. The scaffolding was put up the day before and I didn't really need to be in for this, just to give access to the garden. The pallet of panels and cables etc was also delivered the same day, all wrapped up and relatively safe on my driveway overnight. The installation of 11 panels took only a day, 2 chaps on the roof and the electrician Laurence inside with his apprentice (who I pleased to say was a woman). In hindsight, I would have taken leave that day and not worked in the office right next to the loft hatch and consumer unit! The electricity supply to the house was only disrupted for half an hour at most. The team were very respectful and considerate of my home and my neighbours and they seemed very efficient, rarely stopping for a rest. Laurence was patient with me teaching me how to use the app for the inverter. The Zappi was fitted by an electrician called Ben and his friend within 4 hours. It worked straight away although returned only a few days later to rectify a small problem I didn't know existed. Sunlight Future's communication was excellent all the way through. I highly recommend them.

I am 73 and retired from the trade. I have worked in the trade for most of my life. I have worked for companies and later have employed my own staff. I didn't suffer fools. I know a good team of workers when I see them. Sunlight Futures team worked very professionally. My installation was not one of their easier ones. The supplies were furthermost from where they could conveniently have been. But this did not daunt them in any way. (take it from someone who has worked with fitters for most of his life-THIS COMPANY IS GOOD)

Having sourced a number of quotes for solar PV install at my home I settled on Sunlight Future for a number of reasons: - best customer service - good communication - genuiinely helpful rather than just trying to make a sale - best size of PV array - best price Install went smoothly and the engineers were polite, professional and human (as in real/nice people rather than a corporate facade). Aftercare has been very helpful and all in all exceptionally happy with the service offered. Would highly recommend.
