I knew nothing about Air Source Heat Pumps when I first contacted Sunlight Futures. From my first phone contact with them until the work was done they have been brilliant. They were efficient, tidy, funny, friendly and professional. Clearly a group of people who work well together. Not only were they helpful with the installation, but with advice about the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive application process. So far so very good. I'm enjoying the results of their efforts as I type on this cold day.

I chose Sunlight Future as they had previously installed my voltaic panels and were very efficient and professional. Mine is a small older house in a conservation area. Part of the system had to be away from the house so groundwork was needed and a whole range of ‘out of the box thinking to fit the indoor system. They excelled themselves. I was kept informed at all stages with my needs taking precedence. They always arrived on time with the materials and personnel they needed that day. Hence no time was wasted. Although obviously there needed to be major adjustments in the house, the disruption was kept to a minimum and always left clean and tidy by evening. After service has been excellent with advice, either by phone or a personal visit. Sunlight Future strives to be customer centered and it shows!

I chose Sunlight Future due to the reviews posted here and I wasn't disappointed. I first spoke to them about what I wanted and over the space of a month I had them change the spec 3 times before I committed. Everything was discussed in detail and they declined to sell me something I thought I needed but didn't. Once I committed everything happened with a couple of weeks. The scaffolding was put up the day before and I didn't really need to be in for this, just to give access to the garden. The pallet of panels and cables etc was also delivered the same day, all wrapped up and relatively safe on my driveway overnight. The installation of 11 panels took only a day, 2 chaps on the roof and the electrician Laurence inside with his apprentice (who I pleased to say was a woman). In hindsight, I would have taken leave that day and not worked in the office right next to the loft hatch and consumer unit! The electricity supply to the house was only disrupted for half an hour at most. The team were very respectful and considerate of my home and my neighbours and they seemed very efficient, rarely stopping for a rest. Laurence was patient with me teaching me how to use the app for the inverter. The Zappi was fitted by an electrician called Ben and his friend within 4 hours. It worked straight away although returned only a few days later to rectify a small problem I didn't know existed. Sunlight Future's communication was excellent all the way through. I highly recommend them.

I am 73 and retired from the trade. I have worked in the trade for most of my life. I have worked for companies and later have employed my own staff. I didn't suffer fools. I know a good team of workers when I see them. Sunlight Futures team worked very professionally. My installation was not one of their easier ones. The supplies were furthermost from where they could conveniently have been. But this did not daunt them in any way. (take it from someone who has worked with fitters for most of his life-THIS COMPANY IS GOOD)

Having sourced a number of quotes for solar PV install at my home I settled on Sunlight Future for a number of reasons: - best customer service - good communication - genuiinely helpful rather than just trying to make a sale - best size of PV array - best price Install went smoothly and the engineers were polite, professional and human (as in real/nice people rather than a corporate facade). Aftercare has been very helpful and all in all exceptionally happy with the service offered. Would highly recommend.

Very efficient company. When you phone you can generally speak to just the right person without having to run the gauntlet of phone menus. The installation team arrived on time and the whole job was finished in well under a day. Worked well from day 1. The package of panels I ordered was very competitively priced. Received follow up phone calls to check If I was satisfied. Can't fault them.

Sunlight Future installed a SolarEdge 4kW solar PV system on my garage roof in 2015. Installation was performed very professionally. Since then a few of the SolarEdge components have failed and needed replacing. I've been impressed with the perseverance shown by Sunlight in getting the parts swapped out, even though SolarEdge have been sluggish with their response.

He was right, from my initial enquiry to the fitting everything was perfect. The surveyor gave good advice, the price was better than I expected, the installation was fast and efficient. The results have been great. I only wish I had done it years ago.

You never really know how good a company is until something goes wrong! Just over four years ago I purchased a 4 kW solar system from Sunlight Future. The whole buying experience I have to say was excellent, they were professional in their presentation, professional with regard to installation, fair pricing and very courteous. I had no complaints. I discovered recently that I had a problem with one of my solar panels, which was well below its normal efficiency. Looking at my paperwork from Sunlight Future I can see that I have a guarantee for the panel. I phoned up and spoke to a gentleman called Ollie who explained to me that the manufacture of that solar panel has gone bust. He said he would have a look around to see if anybody had a panel the same and if not come back to me with a solution for the issue I had. A week and half goes by, nothing! No call from Ollie, so I phone up and asked to speak to Ollie and left a message with another gentleman. Another week goes by, nothing! No call from Ollie. So I send a lengthy email reiterating my concerns. A week and a half goes by, nothing! No call from anybody. So I pick up the phone and ring again, and get to speak to another gentleman who knew about my problems and did see the email, but could only apologise for not getting back to me because they have been busy. I had a lengthy chat with this gentleman who explained my options of which there were three but couldn’t really advise which was the best to take.

We are truly sorry that your support case has been handled so badly. We acknowledge and wholeheartedly apologise that we have not provided a clear path to rectifying the issue. You originally contacted us on 28th June and clearly this matter should have been resolved much sooner. It has been you who has had to chase us over the last 6 weeks and that is not ok. This is our first ever negative review in over 8 years trading making this episode even more regrettable. We really pride ourselves on being a good company to deal with, but recent pressures have had us falter here. We are currently taking on and training more staff to deal with the volume of new enquiries whilst working to manage support requests from our own installations. We further are experiencing an influx of support requests to repair 3rd party installations where the original installer is no longer trading. It has been an extremely challenging period of work and I am afraid that it is within this context that we have failed to deliver you the service that we wish we could have. I hope to reach you by phone tomorrow to arrange a visit next week if convenient for you. Your system is only running at 97% of its potential and it is our intention to resolve this as quickly and attentively as we can for you. I will call you tomorrow to schedule this visit.
