I first contacted SW3 in 2024 after buying our new home and, having met several solar companies, I was determined not to be pressured into an expensive system I did not fully understand. Over the following two years, the SW3 team travelled to East Sussex for three in-person meetings, patiently answering my many questions and helping me understand the panels, battery, whole-home backup and integration with my heat pump and Home Assistant setup. Most importantly, I never felt rushed or treated like another sale. Chris, Paul and the wider team revised several proposals, helped with my council roof-layout documents and DNO application, and looked for supplier deals that would give me the best system for my budget. They installed 18x Aiko panels with Enphase microinverters, providing 9.54 kWp of solar, alongside 18.08 kWh of SigEnergy SigenStor battery storage. In fact, when newer 530W Aiko panels became available, they proactively upgraded all 18x from the quoted 475W panels at no extra cost, which is the kind of honesty and support you want from your solar provider. Their aftercare was equally impressive, and throughout the entire process they were responsive, knowledgeable and genuinely patient. Chris and Paul run the kind of family business that restores your faith in the relationship between a customer and a company. I would recommend SW3 without hesitation to my closest friends and family.

I used SW3 to replace an existing solar system. Paul & Chris were very friendly & knowledgeable about their products. They did a detailed analysis of the old system and what how to maximise my roof space for the new system. Their teams were very professional in taking the old system down, installing and connecting the news system. Special shout to the electrician who did a fantastic job connecting it. Very quick and very clean. Budget was within what I expected and did not change throughout the project, they even upgraded my panels last minute. System works very well. They were very flexible in accommodating my somewhat anticipated timeline. Great work! Would use them again in the future without hesitating. These guys still know what customer service is. I came to know about SW3 Green Energy Services because they installed a solar PV and battery system at our local scout hall. We tried to get a few quotes for that project but SW3 were the only company who showed up, advised us and provided a proper quote. I couldn't believe how hard it was to get quotes from installers. So when I decided to install a similar setup at home there is only one company I considered. SW3 were reliable and helpful. Chris and Paul were easy to talk to and provided the information we needed. They kept in touch and booked us in for the first possible installation date. Paul and Chris both attended on the day to ensure everything started off well. The scaffolders, electrician and the workmen installing the panels on the roof were all prompt, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. Paul followed up via phone to make sure we were happy with everything, which we were and still are. SW3 provided all the info we needed to sign up for the smart export guarantee, and gave us tips on the best options for electricity suppliers to sign up with now we are generating solar power. All in all it has been a great experience and I can heartily recommend SW3 Green Energy Services.

Really pleased with SW3. Chris was great to deal with – understands what customers need and is easy to reach on WhatsApp. Yes, they’re busy, but whenever I had questions or minor teething issues he responded quickly and got things sorted. Installation was punctual, tidy and professional. One cracked panel on arrival was spotted immediately and replaced without fuss. Nick the electrician was excellent – neat, efficient and knows his stuff. Six months on the system is performing as expected. Overall, a very positive experience and I’d happily recommend SW3.

SW3 were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The installation of the solar panels was explained to us very clearly, and we were given options regarding the placement of the battery and a full explanation of what to expect on the day of installation. On the installation day, two teams attended—roofers and an electrician. They worked efficiently, cleaned up thoroughly, and removed all rubbish. The electrician also gave us valuable advice on how to use the solar panels and battery, as well as how to operate the app to manage the system. Paul, the owner of the company, was always available and ready to assist whenever needed. Overall, a great job.

Our solar power story: Three years ago we had Sunpower solar panels installed on our house. The panels have Enphase micro inverters which have been fantastic. Yes, they cost more upfront than a string inverter but they have already paid for themselves by generating more electricity. Since then, I have been waiting patiently for Enphase's IQ System Controller to be released in the UK. That adds battery storage with a backup capability. If the grid goes down, the batteries keep us running. Yes, we could have gone with a Tesla Powerwall but the Enphase products - micro inverters + batteries + backup work better together. The installer who put in our panels couldn't help - they didn't have any experience with the IQ System. So I called Enphase for advice. Enphase put me in touch with SW3 Green Energy Services - apparently one of their star installers. I'm so glad they did. Chris listened to what I wanted, made some good suggestions, and gave me a quotation. There was a 3 week wait for an installation slot which wasn't too bad given I had already been waiting 3 years for the product to become available. The kit and the team arrived right on time. By the end of the day I was the proud owner of what Enphase tells me is first IQ System Controller to be installed in the UK. What really impressed me was the quality of the workmanship - the attention to detail. The wiring is a work of art. Beautifully laid out and tidy. I will definitely be using SW3 again to add extra batteries.

Paul and Chris looked after me from the very start and proved knowledgable, dependable and reasonable on costs. Communication was excellent throughout and after sales a particular highlight. Installation was flawless and the team polite, friendly and tidy. My system is working great and the team keep an eye on it to keep it working as well as it was on Day One. Would highly recommend.
