Welcome to SweepSmart, an independent chimney sweeping company covering London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

Very pleased with the service provided by Paul. We recently moved into a new property, and needed to assess the state of the flues. He worked methodically, swiftly and tidily to test the flue with a camera, and swept the chimney for us. Highly recommended.

Best ever - I use him every year. He’s friendly, efficient, very reasonably priced, always on time. I can’t praise him enough. No mess at all - he leaves my fireplace cleaner than he found it. Don’t forget to look at the brush coming out of your chimney for a year’s good luck!

I would definitely recommend this company. Paul was on time ( text to let us know on the way 15 minutes before) . He completed the job efficiently and the house was left immaculate. He also gave some helpful advice regarding the condition of one of our chimneys. We would definitely use this company again.

Professional service - and advice on 'clean' way of burning logs

Paul is friendly and reliable. I had also asked him for some tips on how we should use our stove. Paul was very helpful. He took the time to go through all the steps, from lighting the stove, to burning the logs in the most efficient way, and what kind of wood best to use. He explained that there is virtually no - or very little - air pollution when you burn the fuel correctly. I will be looking forward to use our stove again this winter, in the happy knowledge that we can do this in an environmentally friendly way.

Excellent service. Punctual, professional, friendly , knowledgeable, informative and adhered to covid-19 guidelines, Thank you. Put dust sheets down, left the room as he got it, so no cleaning up👍. Received invoice and certificate by email very promptly. This in the second year I have used this company, they sent me an email to remind me the chimney was due to be swept, very grateful for this.
