Professional firm with staff who want to do the right thing. My chimney needed to be cleaned, and I reached out to SweepSmart. They came around promptly to clean the chimney, but identified a bird's nest inside. The environmentally friendly nature of their service meant they would not disturb the nest, as the eggs would still be there. I was amazed that the company follows such great practices, and we rebooked for August as the little eggs would have hatched and the birds would have fled the nest. Tony came along with James, and they cleaned the chimney, left the area very clean, and ensured the birds don’t come back by protecting the chimney with a bird grate. I am very pleased with the service and will only be using them going forward. And prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommended!!

Richard came today to sweep our chimney, he helpful and friendly. We asked many questions which he was happy to answer and help us with any worry's about our log burner. The sweeping of the chimney was so quick i was shocked, he made zero mess and was just all round really good! Will definitely recommend and will be calling again for next year’s sweep!

Contacted SweepSmart having never used chimney sweeps before. They were able to organise a time slot within 2 weeks during a busy time of year. SweepSmart are a very professional company sending a reminder 2 days before the scheduled appointment with a text message 15 minutes' before arrival. Keil was very efficient and polite and their use of modern equipment meant Keil had completed the job in next to no time and with absolutely no mess. Would have no problem recommending SweepSmart!

Paul is a friendly, helpful guy who took the time to answer our questions. We came away feeling a lot more knowledgable about how to look after our fireplaces and chimneys! Would definitely recommend and will be calling on his services again.

Paul (and his assistant, Dad) did a fantastic job on two chimneys in my house. Having just had one room decorated I was a bit anxious about possible mess but I needn't have worried - dust sheets on the floor, everything moved and put back in its place, and not a bit of dust or mess. They were polite, courteous, punctual (very!) and a pleasure to have in my house for the hour it took them to do the work. Paul also gave me some useful and very practical advice about upkeep and draught excluders for the chimneys too. I would definitely use them again, trusted them and can unconditionally recommend Paul and SweepSmart. Thank you very much.

They arrived on time and were very efficient, asking questions about whether the chimneys were in use and if we had any problems. They were extremely careful about keeping the carpets clean as we had a light cream carpet. After finishing they explained what they had done as one of the chimneys had quite a big buildup at the top but they had managed to dislodge it. Very helpful, courteous and friendly. I would definitely book them again.

I was asked to write a review but only got around to it now.. Excellent guys.. came to sweep the chimney of our wood burner. They arrived when they said they would, did a great job, reasonable price and emailed our certificate promptly afterwards. They do get very busy so I will ring them earlier this year to get them in to do the job. Will use them again.

Came when he said he would. Laid dust sheets all over. Very quick and efficient. Gave us good advice on our fireplace. Happily fitted a new door seal. Would happily recommend him. Will book him again for this year.

i have never had our chimney swept before and was unsure what to expect, I have been blown away by the efficiency of this firm , I was kept informed by text and email as to timings and the guidance given re keeping all safe during this crisis was top notch. Paul turned up when he said he would and got to work straightaway, I though there would be some noise and mess but when he left , it was as if he had never been there, really fantastic. gave advice on carbon monoxide detectors and when i would need another visit. would not hesitate to recommend.

Initial contact was dealt with efficiently and quickly. A week prior to visit email confirming date and time of visit. Arrived at agreed time. The chimney was swept efficiently and cleanly. Any issues were pointed out and quickly sorted. He was pleasant and made sure we were satisfied with everything. The job was completed with absolutely no mess. We would totally recommend Sweepsmart.

I contacted Paul having seen the numerous outstanding reviews he had received with a bit of trepidation because it seemed a bit too good to be true. However, I am delighted to say that my experience was equally extremely positive, with every aspect of the interaction and the work done being excellent. He clearly knows his stuff thoroughly, and we discussed the options at each stage of the work - all explained and costed in a clear and transparent way and with no high pressure sales technique. He was very professional, and inspired full confidence in the work he carried out. The main part of the job was to install a flue and stove in a Victorian house. He carefully retained the mantelpiece, and dealt with a couple of unexpected problems (including a crumbling wall behind the hearth!), retaining the character of the fire-surround but enhancing it with the new stove. The work was done with minimum inconvenience and dust. He attended to all the necessary paper work. I would not hesitate to employ him again.
