Tony sent a text when on his way and arrived promptly. He placed dustsheets from the front door to the fireplace, and got straight on with the work. Minimal noise and no mess - you almost wouldn’t know he had been here. He showed me before and after photos of the inside of the chimney. Very happy with the work. Tony is courteous and professional - highly recommended.

Brilliant service provided by Sweepsmart. The technicians were on time, polite and professional. We had our chimney swept and the addition of 1 cap and 1 cowl on the top of our chimney pots. We had our two woodburners checked and cleaned. Paul turned up on time, with a text advising exact time of arrival on the morning, as promised. Really easy to book, with great availability of timings. Communication was clear throughout and guidance on how to prepare / what to expect was really useful. Service was quick and painless and was a great end result. Certificate is great, including photos of the relevant bits. All in all, exactly what we needed and hoped for.

The process for booking was easy and straightforward. I was kept updated on the day of the sweep of his arrival time so I didn’t have to wait around unnecessarily. Adam was knowledgeable and very professional and did a great job. I will be using them for any future work and happy to recommend.

Adam and Paul arrived within the appointment window, explained the process as they went along, quickly swept the chimney, vacuumed the soot from the stove with a HEPA filtered vacuum and left the room clean. Explained the baffle had been incorrectly fitted by a previous sweep. Cleaned the glass of the stove and left it superbly clean. Adam demonstrated the draw of the chimney with a smoke bomb with and without door closed and advised how to light the fire for wood. I have no hesitation in recommending them, or using them again next time.

Have used Sweepsmart for our annual chimney sweep for the last white a few years. Always very efficient from start to finish. Booking is easy with responsive office staff, 2-3hour time slots are excellent for helping plan your day. Even better is the text on the day to say when they are on the way. On arrival Paul and co always work hard to ensure minimal mess or disruption. Apart from a sparkly clean stove you wouldn’t even know they’ve been in your home! Sound and friendly advice on the efficiency of the stove, no attempt to upsell to earn extra money (I asked about the broken firebrick and was reassured it was fine rather than pushed to replace it). Competitive rates and, if you wish, you’re able to pay there and then to get it off your to-do list. Oh, and invoicing and certification is provided promptly by email so you have the paperwork needed for insurance etc. Top notch as always and thoroughly recommend.

We booked online - very easy - and they turned up in the window they said, with reminders and more detail nearer the date, and then when they were on their way. Job was done very quickly and neatly.
