Paul swept my chimney today. He turned up on time and did a very thorough job - very happy to recommend Sweepsmart

My chimney needed a clean and safety check as it hadn't been used for many years. It also needed a bird guard to stop nesting and birds coming down it and getting trapped. I contacted Sweep smart and could not be happier with their service. Very polite, pleasant and professional people. They arrived on time, did a thorough job, left absolutely no mess whatsoever and answered all my questions. They even reduced their fee without me having to ask when it became apparent that some of the work they had quoted for was not needed. I would definitely use them again and would certainly recommend them.

Paul turned up on time, after clear communication before the job. He had all his equipment ready and looked at our chimney and diagnosed the source of the issue very quickly. He left no mess whatsoever and explained everything in language I could understand. The follow up report with photos is very useful. Would recommend their services without hesitation.

Adam visited us this morning to sweep our chimney for our multi-fuel stove. Adams's work and his knowledge and help was vast and way superior to any previous sweeps we have had, so we will certainly NOT be using anyone but Smartsweep in the future. Wish I had known that this company also fits stoves, as I would have used them to fit my stove initially as their attention to detail is superb. Booking process was no problem, you get a 2 hr slot notification a couple days before & then they let you know when they are on their way. First time we’d had a chimney swept & Adam was really helpful & informative, explaining how it all works. Work was all done without any mess or problems. Would definitely use again & recommend Adam.

Arrived on time, floor protection laid, dust cloths arranged around fire. Quick job with no mess. Seals checked to ensure all was airtight. Very professional service.

I’d had a referral to SweepSmart from another sweep who wasnt able to do a camera survey for me. No higher value for me than that. After making the appointment I was notified of an approximate window for the job on the day and then a more detailed arrival time on the actual day. I found this level of customer focus a big positive as I was able to manage my time around this. Every attention was made to keeping my floors and carpets clean whilst working on the job. The actual sweep proved difficult because the flew was not standard but the guys were extremely thorough in trying to understand this and to give me the best possible view of the issue I had. Tony who conducted the job was very professional and even gave me a follow up call the next day to explain that he had completed some further research on my issue and to explain options available to me. Above and beyond. An excellent service I would not hesitate to use again or refer on.

Adam arrived on time and did the job efficiently and quickly with no mess left at all. He was pleasant and friendly and we will definitely be using this company in the future. The office kept us informed about the visit and arrival time etc.

I am very impressed by Adam and his service. From start to finish SweepSmart were excellent. Great communication, punctual, they gave a great time estimate for arrival that was not too wide. We have been very impressed by SweepSmart. Communication has been great from the moment we booked. Tony called ahead to tell us he was on his way. He was courteous and tidy and kindly gave us a quick lesson on how best to light and use our woodburner. Would highly recommend.

The appropriate coverings were laid to protect the floors and carpets. A good job completed with photos to explain what he had done. I received a receipt and certificate promptly. We found SweepSmart to be courteous and thoroughly professional. Chimney was swept with a minimum of fuss and very efficiently.

Tony and his colleague worked very hard to clear 2 chimney flues that were the possible cause of a damp problem. They explained the procedure throughout the process and kept me informed. It was good to see the images from the camera investigation which was very helpful. The work was carried out in a calm and efficient manner and the rooms were left very clean and tidy. Outstanding service and consideration from Tony. absolutely nothing was too much trouble and explained what he was doing at every stage. It made sense for him to carry out the additional work (at our request) to fit a chimney guard. Again this work was also completed on the day.

Paul came to clean our chimney today, and assess what work needed doing to install a log burner. Paul was extremely quick and proficient and very willing to give advice on not only the fireplace that was being cleaned but also another fireplace in the house, which was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend! The price is also very reasonable

The booking system worked well, although i had a to wait a while for an appt i think this often means they are a business in demand, always a good sign. They gave me lots if alerts about when they would arrive arrived when they said they would, did a very tidy job. No nonsense. Really what you should be able to expect but it is still a surprise when a business is like this. Will definitely ise for my regular chimney sweeping

Second time I’ve used this firm and if anything I’m more impressed! Firstly getting an appt is very easy and efficient… you are informed all the way they turn up exactly when they say and are polite ( answered my questions very well) stove was swept efficiently and area kept very clean I recommend this company highly

Paul was superb. The whole experience from booking, reminders to chimney sweep, was completely professional and customer focused. Delighted with the job, cleanliness, price, advice given, insurance certification and friendly interaction. I will definitely be using Paul next year
