As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

Paul is far and away the best chimney sweep we've ever used. Apart from being very polite, super friendly and doing a perfect job of cleaning our chimney with no mess whatsoever, he also happens to wear the coolest-looking chimney sweeping outfit we've ever seen! See you next year Paul!

Paul attended and I was impressed by the attention to detail - after cleaning the chimney, he also hoovered out the contents of the recessed grate (even removing the ash box and hoovering that). Would use again.

Paul is friendly and reliable. I had also asked him for some tips on how we should use our stove. Paul was very helpful. He took the time to go through all the steps, from lighting the stove, to burning the logs in the most efficient way, and what kind of wood best to use. He explained that there is virtually no - or very little - air pollution when you burn the fuel correctly. I will be looking forward to use our stove again this winter, in the happy knowledge that we can do this in an environmentally friendly way.

Paul and is colleague arrived when he said they would. Phoned beforehand with an ETA. Laid dust sheets protecting carpet/furniture etc. Worked very efficiently with no mess. Gave good advice on the chimney and fireplace. I happily recommend him.

A very efficient and thorough service from booking through to completion of the work and at a very reasonable cost. We were particularly impressed by the safety precautions requested of us in advance bearing in mind COVID and the distancing kept by Paul when carrying out the work. Would definitely ask him to do our chimney sweep again (he has done this previously) and be happy to recommend him to our friends and others.

I purchased a house with a log burner in it a year ago. The previous owners recommended Paul on the paperwork they left so it made sense to give him a call. I found Paul very tidy, thorough, with good advice. Very easy to book and communicate with and he was very punctual. Left the fire very tidy and laid down carpet protection. Will definitely be using again.

I have used Paul’s services to sweep my chimney over the last few years and have been really pleased with the service. He’s really friendly and knowledgeable and provides great advice - I was considering capping some disused stacks and he talked through all the issues. You would not know he’s been as he’s really careful at cleaning up and how he moves through the house. Great value for money and superb service. Would not consider using anyone else.

Tony and his colleague were really friendly and easy to get on with right from the start. They wasted no time in ensuring they protected my home in advance of carrying out a full sweep of the large Georgian Fireplace. They ensured that they could confirm as many safety checks as possible and provided advice and recommendations on improving both safety and insulation of the fireplace. These guys are the best and are a really reasonably priced company too. Will definitely be booking them again for the next sweep.

We were very impressed with the service before Paul arrived. We received reminders leading up to the allocated day, and also not only on the day but a text to say he was on the way, 45 minutes before the appointment. Paul arrived on time, carried out the cleaning/sweep of our wood burning stove flue with no mess whatsoever. Follow up service equally professional, received all paperwork following the completion of the job.
