Paul and Bruno arrived on time and got on with the job of sweeping the chimney. They took care to leave the room clean and tidy and gave me helpful advice about maintaining the chimney safely.

I can add absolutely nothing to all the wonderful reviews already put forward for Paul and his colleague whose name I did not catch. They swept the chimney, reported clearly and concisely on its condition by sharing and commenting on the camera images taken. Faultless in every respect.

Paul (and his assistant) were a little delayed by a bird's nest elsewhere but advised us and arrived at the revised time. They were quite quick but did not rush the job. Everything seemed very thorough and there was absolutely no mess. Apart from the basic job, Paul was very thorough in checking the chimney and fireplace afterwards. And, he did a smoke test, issued a certificate and gave advice re ventilation. He also suggested that fitting a CO alarm is a useful precaution. Finally, Paul got lucky and a neighbour asked him to do their chimney also (which will have helped defray his travelling cost).

On arrival Paul looked and acted very professionally. Swept our flue for our wood burner quickly but efficiently. No mess whatsoever. Very good job and a really nice chap. Definitely will book again.

From initial booking to completion we were impressed with the communication. Great work done on our wood burning stove and flue. Plenty of mate down to protect carpets etc.

Paul did a wonderful job when sweeping my chimney. He arrived on time and was very quick and efficient in finding out that the chimney was missing a pot and full of twigs and debris courtesy of local birds! He was very helpful in explaining the problems and how to rectify them. Would thoroughly recommend.

Paul sent me a courtesy message before he arrived and kept to that time. He and his colleague covered my floors with protective cloths from the hallway through to the living room. I have just had my chimney swept by Paul and his colleague and what a first class customer care service they provided me with. First of all they were on time which is very rare when it comes to workmen nowadays. They laid dust sheets on the floor and my furniture as sweeping chimneys can be dirty work!!!! I used Paul for the first time having been not very happy with our last chimney sweep. Paul and his colleague did a very professional job, giving the chimney and log burner a really good clean and inspecting everything, plus clearing up after themselves. He also pointed out a couple of minor issues (e.g. the CO2 detector coming to its expiry date) and suggested what to do about them. I am very happy with the service and professionalism and can thoroughly recommend Sweep Smart.

The job was carried out efficiently with floor covers provided to protect the carpet. The hearth was left in a much cleaner state than found! Polite service and value for money.

Great service again from Paul and his team. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always clear things away before and after the job. This is the second year since we installed the wood burner. They rock as a group and don't mess around when it comes to service. Always there when you need them. This company offers a service that cannot be beaten. Paul turned up on time covered all my carpet to make sure there was no dirt or mess, he made a brilliant job of sweeping my log burning stove chimney. I cannot recommend him highly enough, I used him last year for the first time and I most certainly will be using him next. He turned up on time and he has a great little app that lets you follow him on a map to see you when he will be with you. Also easy to pay through the link on his app.

I had seen Paul's van round the local area and remembered I'd taken a photo of it a few weeks previously after a neighbour had knocked at the weekend to say she'd seen birds flying in my chimney. I sent an enquiry via SweepSmart's website and got a response a couple of hours later which was impressive as it was a Sunday on a Bank Holiday Weekend. Paul gave me his availability, cost and details of what would they would do if birds were nesting in the stack. I received an email the night before to remind me of my appointment and a text the next morning with a more precise arrival time. The guys arrived exactly when they said they would and got straight to work. Dust sheets (clean!) were laid around the floor and over any furniture that couldn't be moved. All their equipment was clean and they worked in a tidy manner. Paul talked me through what they were doing and answered any questions I had on what I needed to do in the future if I wanted to use the fire places. I had three chimney's swept and by the time they'd left you wouldn't have even known they'd been there. I would highly recommend and use Paul and his team again; they were professional, informative and experts in their trade. Thank you!

Was a delightful experience from beginning to end. I was informed all the way from a first phone call (with a very pleasant young lady) to the actual appointment. I had my cowl refitted (the last one blew off in the wind) Paul and his assistant were very pleasant and very covid aware(good practice). Floors were covered and work done with great competence. Paul even replaced rope inside the door of Woodburner, leaving stove much better! I am delighted with this service and the cost! I would thoroughly recommend this company

Excellent service from first booking, to follow up, booking confirmation, arrival time, and work undertaken. Paul arrived exactly when scheduled, he is polite, friendly and couldn't have done a better job for us. He worked quickly, and couldn't have done more to ensure 100% satisfaction. The price for cleaning our woodburner is very competitive, certification and invoice received on the day the work was undertaken. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his company.

When I rang Sweepsmart in December the lady who answered the phone was extremely polite and courteous and very helpful. Paul and his colleague arrived when they said they would, had emailed me in advance just to make sure all was well and when they arrived they got on with the job without any fuss. They inspected, tested and cleaned the chimney all within two hours and they had sent me their report by the end of the day. Excellent service and I would definitely recommend them and will be asking them to come back next year.

We hired Sweep Smart to sweep and check our chimney after moving home. They were very professional and knowledgable, talking us through their findings. The soot was totally managed so everything was left clean.

From the beginning dealing with Smart Sweep was incredibly easy and very professional. They helped me understand the type of service I needed and were able to make a booking for the following week. Paul came to our apartment today to clean and inspect our chimney. He arrived on time, was friendly and very efficient. I was particularly impressed with the care and attention he showed in preparing the room and keeping the noise down to an absolute minimum (which given two of us were working from home that day was much appreciated). After cleaning and inspecting the chimney, Paul gave us a verbal report and a plan for installing our new fireplace. The written report will be sent later today. Paul left with room spotlessly clean and I will be engaging smart Sweep to install our fireplace this summer. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had my 2 chimneys inspected and swept for the first time in over 16 years and I found Sweepsmart via Which. I asked for a means to review the job as I was very pleased with the communication before and after and the job itself. Paul is very knowledgeable and shares his knowledge to help customers. He even talked himself out of sweeping the 2nd (unused) chimney! He was very careful to keep the place clean, explained what he would do, shared his photos and findings with me and gave me advice on other related matters.
