Our chimney was cleaned very well (the quality of the fire has improved dramatically) in a short time with no mess left at all. Paul was an efficient and professional chimney sweep completely on top of the job. We are very satisfied as he was the best chimney sweep we had across in thirty years.

SweepSmart did a first-rate job of sweeping out our chimney, carrying out a camera inspection and a smoke leakage test. They texted us to let us know when they would arrive, were on time and were efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was left clean without any trace of soot. They gave us helpful advice on how to deal with the smoke leakage, including an illustrated report and a link to a specialist company dealing with this problem. Their administration was well organised and helpful. In summary they did an excellent job for a reasonable price and I have no hesitation in recommending them highly.

SweepSmart came today and swept our chimney, carrying out a camera inspection and a smoke leakage test. They were on time and patiently answered all our questions about a possible fireplace installation. They used covers for the rug and floor and were careful to leave the room clean without any trace of soot. They sent through the certificate later the same day. Everything was well organised and I am happy to recommend them.

Adam arrived when arranged, was cheery and friendly and set everything up right away to get going. We chatted and he was very knowledgeable about his trade and was even able to make suggestions and recommendations when plied with questions about our log burner and his suggestions for how we might approach heating our home once we'd extended our bottom floor. The sweep itself was quick, clean, and thorough. Adam showed the deposits removed from the chimney and eased our mind that we'd been burning correctly and efficiently through his analysis of the soot which he'd removed. The invoice was sent while he was still in the house which included the GoMCS certificate as well as a link to pay online. Couldn't have asked for a better service. Outstanding.

Adam carried out work (flue swept on multi fuel burner). He was excellent, knowledgeable, very proficient, fully equipped with all the gear including dust sheets etc, even left me the soot for my garden (slug repellent!). Unreservedly recommended.

Tony the chimneysweep was excellent from letting me know he was on his way, keeping everything clean & protected, explaining the results after he’d finished through to advice on fuel and carbon monoxide monitors. I would definitely recommend them.

From the 1st contact to enquire about the cost through to Adam attending has been great. Responses to e mails are prompt and informative. Then booked the day and given a 2 hr window and a reminder and turned up on time. He prepared the site using floor coverings and went to work. We hadn't had the chimney swept for quite a few years and he had to persevere at times but eventually got to see the brush at the top of the chimney. Left it all very clean afterwards so unable to criticise any part of the service. The documents were e mailed through and paid them online later in the day. Happy to recommend them to anyone and would use them again without hesitation.

Faith could not have been more helpful when I booked a chimney sweep for my Mum's address. The first appointment sadly had to be cancelled due the snowfall and dangerous road conditions but when I explained this situation of my elderly Mother Faith managed to book in an urgent appointment. This is the first time I have used SweepSmart but it certainly won't be the last time. I received a text stating what time my sweep was due. Tony turned up on time and was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I asked him if he knew how much it would cost to install a multi fuel burner. He gave me a rough idea and also explained what may be needed. When Tony left there was no mess whatsoever. I you need a sweep or have a stove please please please use SweepSmart they are exceptional.

Swept flue for wood burning stove. Efficient booking service, text reminders and alert when operative on the way. Paul and his assistant were polite, efficient, and careful with the carpets, etc. Everything was very clean when they finished. The certificate includes photos of e.g. chimney stack, smoke test, etc. In addition, Paul checked the carbon monoxide alarm and gave advice on where it should be situated (which I didn't know) and also left a thermostat which helps you to monitor the optimum rate at which to keep the fire burning. Very reasonable price. Excellent service.

Fast clean and efficient. Careful in ensuring no soot enters the room and swept a very tall chimney. A lot of soot but cleaned efficiently and left spotless. Smoke tested and working well. Good advice on Carbon monoxide alarm, where to place and how it responds.

Very impressed with Sweep Smart from start to finish. Customer Service (from booking process to appointment reminders, accurate tracking and arrival time, and post appointment follow-up) was exemplary. Tony and his assistant were friendly and super efficient, and tidied up thoroughly after sweeping flue of my wood burning stove, which they left much cleaner than they found it (glass front was sparkling). Only a one week wait for an appointment. Given a 2 hour arrival slot with updates plus tracking information on the day. Adam arrived promptly, was cheerful and kept everything spotlessly clean. Explained clearly what he was doing and provided useful general information about use of wood burners. Very efficiently done. Whoever comes to sweep the chimney and test the stove is always very efficient, on time, extremely polite and gives good sound advice as to how we can get the best use out of our stove. We recently moved into a victorian flat, of which the fireplace was boarded up. We booked an appointment with SweepSmart to investigate how viable it'd be to open up the fireplace for use. Adam came and was very mindful in protecting the surrounding areas along with leaving no mess behind. In that visit we got an idea of all possible options in a fair unbiased explanation.
