Really pleased with our new home chimney inspection and sweep. Gave us helpful tips on how to use our stove. Would definitely recommend.

Sweepsmart kept us informed as to when they would arrive. Adam was extremely polite and told us exactly what he was doing. He saved us some money as he did not have to carry out a full clean as he expected to. The work was carried out extremely efficiently and the room was spotlessly clean on completion of the work Would use again and thoroughly recommend.

SweepSmart were on time, polite, efficient and clean. I had three chimneys swept and not a speck of soot was seen in the house after the sweeping was completed. The bags of removed soot I kept for my garden.

Adam carried out work (flue swept on multi fuel burner). He was excellent, knowledgeable, very proficient, fully equipped with all the gear including dust sheets etc, even left me the soot for my garden (slug repellent!). Unreservedly recommended.

Although the outcome wasn't what I wanted the service received from SweepSmart was spot on. Professional, polite, punctual and thorough. I'm very glad I opted for the new home owner check from this company rather than just a chimney sweep from anyone else as I wouldn't have discovered that the flu is potentially dangerous to use without carrying out repairs. Adam arrived when arranged, was cheery and friendly and set everything up right away to get going. We chatted and he was very knowledgeable about his trade and was even able to make suggestions and recommendations when plied with questions about our log burner and his suggestions for how we might approach heating our home once we'd extended our bottom floor. The sweep itself was quick, clean, and thorough. Adam showed the deposits removed from the chimney and eased our mind that we'd been burning correctly and efficiently through his analysis of the soot which he'd removed. The invoice was sent while he was still in the house which included the GoMCS certificate as well as a link to pay online. Couldn't have asked for a better service. Outstanding.

From the 1st contact to enquire about the cost through to Adam attending has been great. Responses to e mails are prompt and informative. Then booked the day and given a 2 hr window and a reminder and turned up on time. He prepared the site using floor coverings and went to work. We hadn't had the chimney swept for quite a few years and he had to persevere at times but eventually got to see the brush at the top of the chimney. Left it all very clean afterwards so unable to criticise any part of the service. The documents were e mailed through and paid them online later in the day. Happy to recommend them to anyone and would use them again without hesitation.

We have used SweepSmart for many years now and have never been disappointed. Whoever comes to sweep the chimney and test the stove is always very efficient, on time, extremely polite and gives good sound advice as to how we can get the best use out of our stove. We recently moved into a victorian flat, of which the fireplace was boarded up. We booked an appointment with SweepSmart to investigate how viable it'd be to open up the fireplace for use. Adam came and was very mindful in protecting the surrounding areas along with leaving no mess behind. In that visit we got an idea of all possible options in a fair unbiased explanation. We're now keen to book the next steps and get ready for winter!

From even before arranging my first appointment with SweepSmart I was very impressed at how professional and efficient their system is. Very quick to respond through an online portal as well as following up by text and email. Same high level of communication throughout the entire procedure. Very clear and concise information about what to expect and what would be undertaken. Arrived within the times given, work done quickly and efficiently and everything left neat and clean. Pfrompt arrival following SMS updates on arrival times etc. First class friendly service. Fully informed on procedures and I really appreciated the advice given regarding couple of defects. Clean and tidy work and would use again and recommend to others who have a thatched property.

I'd booked for my regular sweep of the chimney and also to have the empty space behind the fireplace filled with thermal pellets - this was suggested on a previous visit and having received a very reasonable quote for it, I agreed for the work to happen at same time as the sweep. While Tony was doing this, he discovered a hole in the flue that connected to the fireplace in the downstairs flat; this made it a larger job, but I quickly received an amended quote and booked a second appointment for a week later. Tony then returned and filled the hole, fixed the insulation, and also reblacked the grate so the the whole thing looks much smarter than before and well as being safer and wasting less heat.

I have used Sweepsmart for several years now. They were recommended to me by the previous owners. I wouldn't use anyone else now. I have always found them to be very professional, fastidious, clean, friendly, approachable with questions, punctual and reliable. I also appreciate the ease of booking the chimney sweep, communication and invoicing procedure. On this visit we had our yearly sweep. Paul has swept us in the years before, today it was Tony who visited. Both have been great.

SweepSmart Paul and Adam arrived bang on time. Very clear communication as to the ETA. The job was a chimney inspection and fitting of a Cowl. Adam sorted out the Cowl and was on and off the roof in no time. Cowl fitted perfect job. Paul swept the chimney from inside / living room, left it clean / spotless. Paul also explained why the chimney in my property had at the top been narrowed. Discussed lining and was given advice. Top lads.

Made a phone booking with SweepSmart very easily. Tony arrived promptly and made sure all interior surfaces were protected. Chimney cleaning performed very cleanly. Smoke test carried out to ensure chimney working properly & Carbon Monoxide alarm tested. Altogether a very professional & efficient job.

They first visited in July to sweep the chimney but advised that we needed to fit access panels to do the job safely. Returned in mid august to conduct that remediation work and they were so efficient and careful that it wasn’t obvious that they’ve visited! Kept me advised throughout the work what they were found and were able to reduce the cost a little by taking a slightly different approach. Very professional, courteous and time efficient.
