They've just swept the chimney, having arrived on time following a text to say on their way (always helpful) All very professional, both the actual sweeping and the checks they carried out, and no mess! They were also pleasant and happy to explain the details of what they were doing. I now have a certificate to prove the job's been done, together with details of some minor work that might need doing, though nothing urgent! All in all, I'm very pleased with Sweep Smart Ltd and would recommend them.

From even before arranging my first appointment with SweepSmart I was very impressed at how professional and efficient their system is. Very quick to respond through an online portal as well as following up by text and email. Same high level of communication throughout the entire procedure. Very clear and concise information about what to expect and what would be undertaken. Arrived within the times given, work done quickly and efficiently and everything left neat and clean. Super impressed - would highly recommend!

I'd booked for my regular sweep of the chimney and also to have the empty space behind the fireplace filled with thermal pellets - this was suggested on a previous visit and having received a very reasonable quote for it, I agreed for the work to happen at same time as the sweep. While Tony was doing this, he discovered a hole in the flue that connected to the fireplace in the downstairs flat; this made it a larger job, but I quickly received an amended quote and booked a second appointment for a week later. Tony then returned and filled the hole, fixed the insulation, and also reblacked the grate so the the whole thing looks much smarter than before and well as being safer and wasting less heat.

I have used Sweepsmart for several years now. They were recommended to me by the previous owners. I wouldn't use anyone else now. SweepSmart Paul and Adam arrived bang on time. Very clear communication as to the ETA. The job was a chimney inspection and fitting of a Cowl. Adam sorted out the Cowl and was on and off the roof in no time. Cowl fitted perfect job. Paul swept the chimney from inside / living room, left it clean / spotless. Paul also explained why the chimney in my property had at the top been narrowed. Discussed lining and was given advice. Top lads.

Keil came to clean my chimney as well as do a full inspection as it hadnt been used in a long time. Job done with no mess and a full report provided afterwards with photos included as well as advice on what to burn etc in my fireplace as well as making it safe to use (previous owner of my house had got rid of the hearth). Paul and colleague were great and I would definitely recommend them! They had to fit a woodburning stove into an existing fireplace, and despite a few hiccups, they carried out the job in a timely and professional manner. Paul also had great advice about how to run the stove and is still on hand if I have any questions. Thanks again Paul!

Called Paul when a bird got stuck up my chimney and he was very helpful with advice on the phone. Paul and his dad were prompt on arrival and quickly found where the bird was lodged. Although a difficult job, he was able to remove it and give the chimney a thorough clean and smoke test. It is always great to meet people who know their trade and Paul was quick to answer all my questions and give advice. I was very impressed with the service and knowledge, will use them again and would definitely recommend them.

We've had Paul from Sweepsmart sweep a couple of chimneys in our house and decided to get him back to install a log burner and flue. With it being a fire in your home you really need to consider the safety aspect of an open fire. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything we required. He also organised the certificates very quickly. He advised us on log burner types and the best ones for our space. On the day they covered everything in dust sheets and ran through the work. They installed a top quality flue liner and left the place as they found it. He even ran though the best way to use the burner to get the most out of it. The log burner hasn't been off - it's been great and we're glad to have found someone with such a professional manner and considerate work ethic.
