Our Central Heating was not working so we called Dave at SWS Plumbing & Heating who came out the next morning, explained what the issue was and quoted a price to repair the central heating, and fit a new programme control unit. As agreed Dave came out the next day and completed the work as agreed. His work was professional he explained each stage nothing was too much trouble. We were very satisfied with the work completed and the price.

My boiler stopped working on a Thursday night. The following day I rang David and asked whether he could, if possible, repair it for me. I found his contact details in the Look Local magazine. Initially he said that he could come on Saturday morning, but rang me back to say he hadn’t realised how close he was. As soon as he had finished the job he was doing he came straight away. I quickly realised that I had made an excellent choice. From the moment he came in I felt confident that I had chosen well! He found the problem quickly, the condenser was blocked. It was soon unblocked and the boiler has worked perfectly ever since. He diagnosed the problem by the noise it made when he tried to switch it on which certainly impressed me. There is no doubt, I will be using this company in the future for anything to do with plumbing or heating. The cost was very reasonable.

I had a leak on my boiler and was unable to contact my regular plumber. Dave came promptly and diagnosed the initial problem and a subsequent problem. Both were dealt with efficiently in a straightforward manner. I would recommend Dave as a friendly, efficient and helpful workman.

Brilliant, called on Wednesday about my wife's 95 year old Aunt's central heating not working. Dave said he would be there the next day between 12 and 2. He was on time, quickly pinpointed the problem (a 3 way electronic valve) and had a replacement in his vehicle. Very reasonable for such a quick response and diagnosis. Would thoroughly recommend.

I experienced a leak in my kitchen ceiling and a pressure drop on my boiler. I found Dave by searching for a plumber near me on Which trusted traders. Dave was able to come out the following morning - he was friendly, helpful and logical as we traced the source of the leak (a poorly sealed shower tray) and diagnosed the boiler problem (a minor issue with the expansion vessel). His entire approach was straightforward, honest and a genuine attempt to be as helpful as possible. His bill was also perfectly reasonable (a fraction of one rate I was quoted). I will be using him for all of my future plumbing and heating needs. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a plumber to replace the taps in the cloakroom. Found Dave's details in the local free Magazine. Called him and he came within a day or so. He did an excellent job, reasonably priced, so when we needed a heated towel rail in the bathroom replaced we called Dave. He supplied and fitted the rail, which looked great. We'd had a problem in the past with some of the radiators in the house being quite cool, but put it down to the fact they were quite old. Dave didn't think this was right, so he asked if he could call back again the next day to investigate. He meticulously checked all the radiators, bled them, and then checked all the pipework. He eventually found the problem in the airing cupboard, replaced a couple of parts and, hey presto, everything works, even the old radiators! The house is now lovely and warm and ready for winter. Can't wait!! I would highly recommend SWS Plumbing & Heating to anyone and everyone.

Dave responded immediately to phone call for an estimate. Once work and costs agreed Dave arrived on time and did an excellent job within the quoted price. He has a pleasant disposition and is a competent tradesman. Would use him again
