The Heat Is On

Tom and Mason arrived on the 9th Jan ready to start the change of the boiler from a standard tank-fed boiler to a new top-of-range Worcester Bosch combi boiler, Also to fit a new radiator and change over 2 others for us. Cannot fault the workmanship from both Tom and Mason, over the moon how quickly the new boiler was fitted and wasn’t left overnight without heating or Hot water. The whole job was completed in 2.5 days and all rubbish was taken away as they were very tidy workers. Highly recommend them to anyone who requires any heating work.

Just had a new Worcester boiler fitted today by Tom & Mason from The Heat is On. Called Tom on Monday morning, he came round in the afternoon and diagnosed the problem immediately. He emailed that night with options & quotes & fitted the new boiler today. Punctual, reliable, friendly & no mess left at all. Would recommend him 100%. Thank you so much Tom.

Worcester Bosch boiler failed yesterday so no heating or hot water, had the plumber confirm it was the heat converter but he could not repair it until the new year due to bookings and a very cold spell. So I contacted Worcester Bosch on their website for a replacement boiler at 1100, Tom from Heat is On, an approved fitter called me at 1215 to discuss my needs. He called me back 20 minutes later to confirm he could get the model I needed and the price to fit which I was very happy with, received his quote via email last night and he came and fitted a new boiler in 3 hours today so everything is back on and cosy. Such a relief with Christmas so close. He arrived as promised on time and did a sterling job, polite, friendly and very tidy. Would highly recommend him and I have already passed his number onto a friend. 5 stars all day long.

Tom has been the plumber for my parents in Windsor for the last 10 years and had assisted in moving things around as their lifestyle changed with my father's Parkinsons. Tom always attends when expected and also takes the time to explain what he is going. He has gone as far as to suggest that we purchase our own taps so he doesn't need to add a cost and then he fitted them. It has been of great comfort to know that Tom is able to go and fix anything we need and that I don't have to go to my parents as I know he will explain everything. I would recommend him if you don't know older parents, it has just made a difference to me when he has.

Tom took my call yesterday afternoon and was with us within five minutes diagnosing the problem with Mum's boiler. Located parts required picked them up and fitted them all before lunchtime the next day. Amazing Service. I highly recommend Tom!

Tom installed our new boiler supplied by Worcester Bosch. But within a hour the pump failed. No ones fault, just really bad luck. But Tom promptly returned & diagnosed the problem & went the extra mile to phone around to try find a replacement pump. He then communicated with Worcester Bosch to ensure the part was found & supplied the same day for him to fit so we didn’t have to suffer another day without heating or hot water. A true professional! His work is very tidy, cleans up after himself, he’s prompt, very polite & informative. I will be using him for any future work needed. Thanks Tom.

Tom contacted me after I requested quotes from the Bosch approved installers website to replace an old Potterton conventional system with a new combi boiler. We considered several offers both from British Gas and independent installers. In the end, we chose Tom because he seemed friendly, professional and reliable, and also because of his good advice – not trying to sell us unnecessary items and services – because his quotation included 1st quality materials (the boiler was even marginally better than the one offered by British Gas and at a more competitive price - Bosch CDi 36kW vs. 32 kW) and because he was backed by Bosch as an approved installer. From my experience, I can say that Tom is a very friendly and professional person. Both he and Harry arrived on 25/11/2020 at 9 in the morning and completed the work in 2 days as agreed. They are also flexible (in the end, we decided to go for the newer model Greenstar 8000 Style and they provided us with all the necessary help and support to set up the system). In summary, I can only describe The Heat is On as very friendly, reliable, professional and helpful people who offer you a 1st class service with good value for money.

Tom and his team fitted a new Worcester Bosch Combi Boiler, repositioned from the kitchen to upstairs. Everything was done from the first contact to finish in a very professional and friendly manner. Communication was very good, he provided us with an estimate and start date and contacted us just prior to starting work to check the date was still ok. He even helped with a small problem that cropped up (not because of his work). All in all, very pleased with Tom's work and would definitely recommend The Heat is On.

Tom and his team really are a bunch of lovely guys. Tom took the time to come over and take a look at the job, explained all that would be involved in layman terms and provided a decent quote. What swung it for me was his understanding of my parent’s health and ease of communication and his willingness to accommodate. They turned up on time, finished a lot sooner than we thought, explained how everything worked with the new boiler, did the paperwork and followed up with guarantees etc all in a very timely manner. Tom was recommended to us by a friend. He impressed us with his pleasant manner, knowledge and clear explanation of the work needed in replacing our old boiler. He fitted new pipework in a tight space so we did not have to make good any tiling etc. He completed the installation in good time and at a competitive price. We are very happy with his work and would recommend him.

We discovered a leak at 9 o clock at night which caused us to have to turn the water supply off . I text Tom that night and he text back straight away . He arrived the very next morning and had it all fixed with no disruption professionally and tidily taking away a very stressful situation. This company have always given me a fast and reliable service in the times I have used them from having a new boiler installed to fixing a leak and I really highly recommend them . Cannot praise Tom and his team highly enough. My elderly parents wanted gas central heating installed and had been let down by one engineer and harassed by another. Luckily I came across Tom's website and felt instantly reassured after speaking to him on the phone. He came out to quote and my parents also felt reassured by him and decided they would use him regardless of the quote which wasn't an issue as the price was extremely competitive. They felt so comfortable that they went away while the work was being carried out and left the key with Tom. The work was completed and my parents came back to a immaculate house . Even my parents neighbours popped over to say how lovely Tom and his team were. They now have a lovely warm house and, for the first time in over 15 years, they have a hot towel rail. I had an issue with my boiler, Tom was recommended to me - he tried his best to help me with the issue over the phone which temporarily fixed the problem. I asked Tom to come and take a look when the problem recurred, he fixed the problem, gave me some honest advice and was extremely helpful. I will use these guys in future and would recommend them to anyone.

Tom installed a new Worcester-Bosch combi boiler in my flat, and removed the existing boiler, tanks and piping. He was helpful and proactive, with valuable suggestions, when agreeing the spec. He was incredibly easy to deal with - he phoned precisely when promised, he and Jack turned up on the dot to start work, and they left my flat such that you wouldn't have known they had been. The work was completed within schedule and agreed price. They discovered a slight leak that my previous maintenance company should have spotted, but fixed it at no additional cost. Nothing has gone wrong, and if it does I am confident Tom will fix it. A first rate job.

Following the most reasonable of several quotes obtained for the work, Tom and his able and well trained young assistant Jack installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler for us. The job included a new, long 22mm copper pipe across the loft from the gas meter to the boiler. This work was carried out very quickly and efficiently and the system was flushed, filter and inhibitor added, commissioned and working well by 4:00PM the same day. Amazing!! I cannot recommend these friendly, polite and likeable guys too highly!

When I called, Tom suggested ideas that could help without any cost. He gave a quote, committed to calling me. He called, arrived and did a great job - he cared about making sure everything worked, not just fixing the fault. Fantastic service.

Tom provided a solution what worked as promised and delivered exactly what Tom said it would. Since i have had 2 tradesmen in the loft one to check pipe work going into upstairs bathroom, and another checking water pressure after a radiator was removed for a room to be decorated. Both have always commented on the quality of Toms pipe work and installation, i think this is the best compliment to Toms work. If you are considering any kind of heating work, You should 100% consider Tom, because he delivers what he says, sees projects to the end, and 100% knows what hes doing and is a properly good guy.
