Here at Aqua Sensation we are a family run, local, independent supplier and installer of Water Softeners, Filter/Purified Water, Water Softener Salt and Quooker Boiling Water Taps.
We have over 35 years experience in plumbing and heating trade. After experiencing the damage of hard water and seeing the benefits of soft water, I started to install water softeners in 2001. I now only fit water softeners, filters and boiling water taps.
We are the only genuine dealers for Kinetico water softeners in our area, and authorised dealers for EcoWater and Harvey Water Softeners and work in a 30 mile radius of Letchworth. We only supply and install the major water softener brands that are reliable and have long warranty’s.
Based in Letchworth, we cover most of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridge. We supply and deliver water softener salt and all the prices are on our website along with various payments options.

Came out at weekend to resolve a problem with an existing old softener and did not charge for this service. Gave excellent advice on a replacement which was installed within two weeks of quoting. Installed very efficiently despite unexpected problems arising along the way, for which they refused to make any extra charge. Efficient handover and left the site clean and tidy.

Terry came and gave us a free survey & emailed our quotation. His COVID-19 practices were excellent and the information he gave during the survey enabled us to make an informed decision on whether or not to install a water softener system. Again on the day of installation, Terry & his son James practiced safe working and the work was carried out quickly, cleanly and to a very high standard. James’ neat plumbing was admired by husband so a shout out to him for his great work. We couldn’t recommend Aqua Sensations enough!

Terry was recommended to me by a friend who had a softener installed and was very impressed. I contacted Terry a few months later and throughout the process of visiting, specifying a softener, answering questions, install, etc. it was all handled brilliantly. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, all neat and tidy. Terry was very informative and happy to answer questions along the way. Handover of the unit after install was also excellent, leaving us very confident in how it works and general maintenance needs. We recently moved into a new build house and wanted to fit a water softener as we’d had one in our last house. Being in a different area I looked around online and got 3 companies to quote, one of which was Aqua Sensation. From the moment Terry came round to quote he was efficient, asking us what our needs were and tailoring his advice to that rather than trying to sell us something we didn’t need. After researching the options he had given us and accepting the quote he provided, it really was plain sailing. A date was agreed for the installation and having estimated 4-5 hours for the fitting it was all done in just over 3 hours, with a minimum of noise and disruption. Excellent service, clean and tidy working, and him and and his son are nice people to have working in your property too. Highly recommended.

We contacted Aqua Sensation to install a new water softener as our old one was beyond economical repair. The work was carried out at an agreed time and budget. We were impressed by the professionalism of this company. Everything was kept clean and all rubbish removed at the end of the job. We had a water softener for twenty-six years, never serviced but still worked every day. However a clip on one of the flexible hose connection to the main water valve had corroded and on examining it broke off forcing the hose off, which resulted in mains water bursting out into the kitchen. Once securing it with a hose clip we decided we required the services of a competent water softener and plumbing company. Aqua Sensations were quick to respond, and during our discussions decided to replace the water softener with an up to date model and importantly they re-routed and replaced the mains feed and valves as well as fitting a new mains stop valve. Excellent company to deal with professional standards employed at every stage of the work carried out, including thorough Covid practices.

Terry came round to talk us through the various systems we could have. A very polite and informed distributor who obviously takes pride in his work. He sent over 3 quotes as promised. We selected the system & an appointment was made for a 9am start. Terry & James arrived punctually on the day & got on with their work immediately. When it was completed I was taken through the process of how the system works. Due to poor wifi signal in my new property they could not connect the system to "talk" to my phone. Terry suggested I call him as soon as the wifi was fixed. They came back within 24 hours of my phone call to connect & talked me through the various options on the app. This is without doubt the most professional company I have ever come across & I would not hesitate to recommend this family business.

Terry and his son James supplied and installed our Ecowater system this week. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism and efficiency throughout the whole experience. They took great care in identifying our needs and ensuring we received the right product. The quality of their work when installing the system was exemplary. With regard to COVID Terry and James had regular Lateral Flow tests leading up to installation and they provided evidence of their results. They wore masks, clean shoes and workwear, opened windows and on completion sanitised the room by using a bug bomb. We have no hesitation in recommending this outstanding trader.

Terry and his son worked their magic today, installing a Water Softener & Refiner, which now lives in its own little house outside! Every effort was made on their part to conform with all the Government advice with regards to social distancing, while still being able to carry out their duties in a timely and very tidy manner. Once installed, Terry ran through the instructions and answered my inevitable questions, then finally discharged a 'bug bomb' to ensure everything was left in as safe a condition as could be hoped for. It's only day one, but already we're enjoying the benefits of the installation, as the glass of water at my side has never tasted this good before! Terry was very pleasant and professional for our first interaction via email/phone. Terry came and surveyed where we wanted the water softener. Our mains came into the bathroom so there was only a very narrow cupboard to fit it in. Terry suggested a Harvey minimax would do the job as it was narrow and didn't need electricity. He quoted very promptly and we arranged a fitting date. Terry and his son turned up exactly on time and were very good with their PPE and social distancing. They did a very neat and professional job and left everything spotless. I would highly recommend them.
