Terry and his son James were just the easiest people to have in the house from the visit to quote, to the completion of the work. We had tried several times to have our old water softener installed in our new home, but everyone who came to quote talked about major work running into hundreds of pounds. Then I saw Terry's van and called on spec. Terry was really professional, identified a much simpler solution to any that had been suggested before (though it was still not very simple), and provided a clear explanation of what the work would involve. The quote was clear and transparent, meaning there were no hidden costs or fees. The work wasn't straightforward and required a lot of modification of joists and cupboards. The work they did was extraordinarily efficient and clean. There was minimal mess, and they left the house spotless once the installation was complete. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aqua Sensation for anyone who is considering installing a water softener.

They were very professional, efficient and provided services in a timely manner. Installation itself was very quick and they protected the surrounding area and cleaned everything up afterwards. I am writing this review almost after 5 months, as I wanted to test and confirm the changes I experienced in the water quality. We got a visit from Terry, where he explained to us the different options and sent us his quotes. He is an expert in this field. We got an appointment within the next 2 weeks for the installation. Terry and his son installed Kinetico water softener in our home, and they did an excellent job. It was fully fitted and incorporated in our plumbing, and they did a very clean job. No rubbish left behind. Also, quite efficient as both me and my partner were working from home and we were undisturbed. Also, the water quality has definitely improved with almost no limescales and the softener works quite efficiently without electricity. I would highly recommend Aqua Sensations. Worth every penny.

I really can’t say enough about the outstanding service we received from Terry at AquaSensation. From the initial email exchanges, the first in-person site assessment and consult, and then speedy scheduling and really professional installation. We are incredibly happy with our new water softener. It really makes a massive difference to the quality of our life not having to deal with the hard water of the Hertfordshire area. If you want a company that will answer your initial enquiry, visit on the day and time they arrange to and provide a quote within hours - Terry will absolutely do that. He’ll then arrange a time and date for the work to be carried out and again, arrive on the dot. The work completed here is brilliant, no drama with the pipe work, all brilliantly checked and neatened up and we have a fantastic water softener, which after two days was having an impact. Invoicing and payment also a piece of cake to do. The guys really are a rare bread of installer/business. Terry supplied and fitted a new water softener - he even kindly came round at very short notice the week before to attend to the old one which had suddenly developed significant issues and needed disconnecting immediately. Terry was very polite, arrived on time with his colleague and they both focused on getting the job done. Our water softener of 23 years stopped working and I contacted the company asking about repairs. Dan recommended we consider a new softener and we agreed. Just over a week later our new softener was installed. Having been without one for about 2 months we were starting to notice a big difference in the house. I struggled to find a company that could supply and fit a Kinetico water softener and Quooker tap without subcontracting out the fitting element. The two products I wanted were expensive, and I wanted to avoid having to mess around finding fitters and possibly ending up with no one organisation accepting overall responsibility for my job. Terry and his son came to fit a water softener in our kitchen. Being our first softener, Terry came to do a survey first and gave us lots of information to make a decision. On the day of installation they were prompt, tidy and considerate. The space we were using for the installation was exceptionally tight, and required them to move around some plumbing and cut into units. Terry and his son James not only finished the installation in just over 2 hours, they did so in a professional manner and to an exceptional standard. They even fitted my own tap and fixed my wonky cupboard at no additional cost. We called Aqua Sensation to install a Quooker boiling water tap and even though we didn't think we could have a water softener due to our existing plumbing, Terry was able to think outside the box to come up with a solution. Terry certainly knows his products and was able to provide detailed advice of the pro's and con's of each and there was definitely no hard sell involved. All of the work was carried out exactly as planned and everything works perfectly. Highly recommended

I contacted Terry at Aqua Sensations to arrange a survey and price quote to have a water softener system installed in our home. One of the reasons I chose this company was from reviews I had read and also as I live in Stotfold, I wanted to use a locally based company. Terry attended to carry out a survey and told me what the options were and explained the work that would have to be done and explained to us the benefits of having the system installed. There was no hard sell at all. He said it would involve some pipework under the sink and some drilling and would not disrupt us. I later got an email with the quote and I contacted Terry to go ahead with the work. He gave me dates and times that I could choose for the work to be done which was carried out on 02/08/22. On the day Terry attended with his son to install the system. Terry explained again what they would be doing and after completion showed me how to download the app on my Iphone to make the system work. He then showed me what they had done and what all the pipework etc was for. There was not a lot of pipework involved and what there was neat and tidy. Minimal mess and a very clean job. More than happy to recommend Aqua Sensation. Best decision I have made in using his company.

Aqua Sensation installed an EcoWater system to our home. From the site survey to completion of the installation Terry was the consummate. He took us through the softeners that were available without any hard sell. He then sent as a quote within a couple of hours and then we arranged install for a couple of weeks later. The install was carried out tidily and neatly. Once installed and set up Terry took the time to go through the system and how the valves worked, downloaded the app and took us through the information available. I was impressed from the site survey and quotation stage. No pressure just friendly advice, made sure all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. On the day of the installation, Terry and his son James arrived on time and explained their plan. They put down clean dust sheets in the whole area they worked in and were very respectful of the property. We discussed a few basic options during the installation which went extremely well. No mess or cleaning up required after completion, in fact, you wouldn’t know they had been. Also, following install completion I received a good training session on how to interact with the softener and set up the App (easy even for me) It is now a couple of days since installation and we are now enjoying the soft water. No leaks, or any other issues. We were left with an information pack with a water hardness test kit and a couple of months supply of salt tablets to be going on with. Terry and Daniel fitted a water softener and hot water tap. They were efficient, tidy and very helpful, the work was completed to a very satisfactory finish and we are extremely happy with both items. They explained how they function and how to solve any problems, of which there have been none to date. (they even installed my soap dispenser at no extra charge and helped my husband drill a hole in our cabinets, above and beyond their remit). The above company installed our Water Softener today. A very efficient company from the representative coming and explaining how the system works to the installation. The engineers Terry & James arrived double checked everything with us before commencing work. We had a problem with the position of pipes this was not visible at the first visit all changed no problem. The chaps were professional, friendly and informative in their approach. The install was clean, tidy and quality. A great effort was made to discreetly install the hard water bypass pipe from the mains through to the kitchen tap. Brilliant and highly recommended!

Great family business. Installation was as agreed and was professionally completed. Clean and tidy and explained fully. Drained tanks, adjusted the dishwasher to run on softened water and tested the system to ensure that the system was delivering soft water before leaving. Fumigated the working area before departing.

On first calling to give a quotation, at my request, all relevant information was given including where the machine could be installed. On day of fitting the owner (Terry) and his son of this family business arrived on time, took their shoes off and put dust sheets down to protect carpets etc. The water softener was duly installed and the copper pipe work was very neat and tidy. Having started my working life as a toolmaker I take some impressing on the practical side of things. Every thing was explained in detail after installation including instruction and help in downloading the Harvey app which tells me when I need to replace the salt. The owner of the business (Terry) has a particularly pleasant personality and excellent at explains things. The cost of the softener and fitting was very acceptable.

They came out the next day to assess our requirements and provide a quotation. Their approach was thoroughly professional throughout the process. On installation day they arrived on time and completed the job in 2.5 hours. They did a very neat job and left our utility room spotless. Full instructions were provided, including advice to change the detergent settings on our washing machine and dishwasher. Came out at weekend to resolve a problem with an existing old softener and did not charge for this service. Gave excellent advice on a replacement which was installed within two weeks of quoting. Installed very efficiently despite unexpected problems arising along the way, for which they refused to make any extra charge. Efficient handover and left the site clean and tidy.

Terry came and gave us a free survey & emailed our quotation. His COVID-19 practices were excellent and the information he gave during the survey enabled us to make an informed decision on whether or not to install a water softener system. Being in a different area I looked around online and got 3 companies to quote, one of which was Aqua Sensation. From the moment Terry came round to quote he was efficient, asking us what our needs were and tailoring his advice to that rather than trying to sell us something we didn’t need. After researching the options he had given us and accepting the quote he provided, it really was plain sailing. A date was agreed for the installation and having estimated 4-5 hours for the fitting it was all done in just over 3 hours, with a minimum of noise and disruption. We had a water softener for twenty-six years, never serviced but still worked every day. However a clip on one of the flexible hose connection to the main water valve had corroded and on examining it broke off forcing the hose off, which resulted in mains water bursting out into the kitchen. Once securing it with a hose clip we decided we required the services of a competent water softener and plumbing company. Aqua Sensations were quick to respond, and during our discussions decided to replace the water softener with an up to date model and importantly they re-routed and replaced the mains feed and valves as well as fitting a new mains stop valve. Excellent company to deal with professional standards employed at every stage of the work carried out, including thorough Covid practices.

We selected the system & an appointment was made for a 9am start. Terry & James arrived punctually on the day & got on with their work immediately. When it was completed I was taken through the process of how the system works. Due to poor wifi signal in my new property they could not connect the system to "talk" to my phone. Terry suggested I call him as soon as the wifi was fixed. With regard to COVID Terry and James had regular Lateral Flow tests leading up to installation and they provided evidence of their results. They wore masks, clean shoes and workwear, opened windows and on completion sanitised the room by using a bug bomb. We have no hesitation in recommending this outstanding trader.

Terry and Son arrived on time to install our Ecowater 200, which was achieved quickly and quietly, we are working from home so this was appreciated. Terry suggested a Harvey minimax would do the job as it was narrow and didn't need electricity. He quoted very promptly and we arranged a fitting date. Contact with Terry was easy by email with prompt responses including a quotation for the work. He and James arrived on time. They took off their shoes before coming in and spread dust sheets wherever they worked. They refused the offer of tea or coffee and got straight on with removing my old, inefficient water softener and installing a new one. Terry explained how the machine worked and showed me how to install the salt and care for the machine. They were quiet, efficient and left everything clean and tidy which included removing the old machine. I have no hesitation in giving Terry and James the highest recommendation.

We recently had the evolution 200 Water Softener fitted by Terry and James and the service we received from initial contact to the job being complete was 5*plus. There was no hard selling involved, the mechanics of the equipment and fitting was explained clearly along with options, literature and written quotes. On the date of fitting they arrived at the time agreed, all flooring was covered with protective sheets and on completion the only evidence of them having being there was if we opened the cupboard where the unit had been installed. Had a new water softener installed by Aqua Sensation. Right from quotation to installation absolutely no fault what so ever. They genuinely took pride in their work and ensured perfection to the "t". Living in a flat on the third floor, there was a lot of heavy lifting and carrying involved. Yet there was not a single moan or groan. Terry was excellent throughout the selection process of which water softener to go for to cover our needs. He installed the unit when he said he would and did a very neat job of the installation. So far we're very pleased with it, and it seems to be working well, and we're experiencing the benefits of the soft water. Making ice previously could be embarrassing when we had guests, as it left a lot of scale residue in the bottom of the glass, once the ice had melted. Since the softener has been installed, the ice is a lot purer leaving no scale once they have melted. Very pleased I went for Terry's advice of softening all the water in the house, and not having a hard water tap at all. The ecowater machines aren't cheap, but so far pleased with it.
