Tethys installed a Solar Battery system in our home and at all stages from enquiry through to installation and handover, they were excellent. In particular they provided a detailed onsite survey, competitive quotation which they kept to in the final invoice, they responded to queries very promptly and their installation team were friendly, highly competent and thorough. We chose Tethys as they had very positive reviews on the Which trusted traders website and we experienced the same pleasing experience reported in other customer reviews.

Jason and the team delivered more than was promised. Due to a cancellation, the installation was completed ahead of schedule with a high-quality installation. You hear so many stories of scaffolding being up for weeks, delays and shoddy workmanship, so we were apprehensive, but we need not have worried. The whole process was quick, and discreet as they could be, to the point where I hadn't noticed they had installed a large cable running power into the garage until they pointed it out. They even replaced a couple of broken tiles and cleaned out a gutter blockage for me, bless their hearts. I highly recommend and commend them on their quality and work ethic.

I am happy to fully endorse Tethys Energy Ltd. I already have a Growatt system with a Tesla PowerWall v2 on my house roof. This was installed by another organisation. There was nothing wrong per se with that organisation (UK National), but I always felt I was paying above market rate and all the contacts there kept turning over. There was no memory of my install and therefore, no support based upon this memory around how to augment my existing setup with more panels and a DC side stackable/scalable battery system. Enter Jason of Tethys. We had an excellent series of conversations. He understood my desire not to replace the existing equipment and understood that I didn't want to approach the DNO to get a green light on a 10KW connector to the grid. Instead, I wanted a DC side battery with the new system feeding out via the existing system to the grid for exports. The system was/is very bespoke, but his team should great endeavour and got the job done. This is a unique setup. It is not perfect (as a result of the integration between different manufacturers, and not due to with Tethys team). There were some issues and Growatt were contacted and sent in an engineer but all was handled by Tethys and I am as a result very pleased with my setup, its peak generation throughout the day and how the overall system now meets my families energy needs and gives us almost total power independence (not quite in the dark of winter).

Very professional team. Straightforward from proposal through to commissioning. The installation of solar panels, batteries, and energy diversion to heat water has worked perfectly since installation two months ago. Pretty much off-grid through the summer months. Installation team were brilliant and did a neat and tidy job. Good level of consultation around details of cabling, etc. Would not hesitate to recommend this company

Tethys Energy - Jason and the team - did everything right from initial contact through to final delivery. They always delivered what they said, when they said, and often went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with every detail of the work. The team were friendly and competent, without exception. Every bit of the work was carried out to a high standard, with a focus on customer satisfaction at every stage. Even where work was already completed, the team would make adjustments to better suit my requirements. The equipment they selected for my home was of the highest quality, and from day one delivered way more power from the system than I was originally anticipating. All this - and at the same or a better price than the 'big boys', (whose reviews are certainly not to the same 5* standard you see here for Tethys Energy). So, in summary, I would strongly recommend you to discuss your requirements for solar power with Jason and the Tethys team..... and don't waste your time on those 'big advertisers'.

Can highly recommend Tethys Energy. They are professional, quick to respond, accommodating and courteous, and provided a first-rate service. The quotes/options they provided were clear and detailed, and also appropriate to my circumstances and limited roof space (unlike another quote from a different provider). All paperwork was completed and sent promptly, and I was given a clear and helpful explanation of the system and app upon completion. I felt I received a personal service, which gave me confidence in the project. They were efficient and kept to their commitments. The work was done as part of a much bigger building project, and they were flexible in fitting in with that work. If I had it to do over, I would use them again without any hesitation.

I had solar and a Tesla Powerwall 3 installed. I had a few quotes from other companies and I wasn't impressed with their cabling routes and quotes. Jason from Tethys came and assured me of a better way of doing it as I did not want trunking for the cables all at the front of the house/hallway, as other companies had suggested. I got a much better specification system for the same price as one of my quotes. We had a power cut within a month of the system being installed and the powerwall kicked in as it was designed to do. So far the system has saved me more than I expected it to. I will use them again for when I need a car charger installed and I would recommend them.

Tethys provided an excellent service from start to finish. Recommended by a neighbour and WHICH we phoned Jason for a quote. Quickly organising a home visit and very happy to talk through all our options providing multiple quotes for various ideas. We had quotes from many competitors - some cheaper, some more expensive. But we like to support local business as it gives peace of mind that support is close. I am glad we did. Jason quoted a start date which was kept, the works carried out on time, the agreed price never changed and all the workers were willing to work with all our requirements for a neat and tidy install - I felt the installation was done with pride. Slight teething issue with wiring at the start on our first car charge via solar, but very quickly resolved which was zero hassle and good support. We have been recommending to all our friends who might be thinking about solar in the future. I can't comment on aftercare since the initial install as nothing has gone wrong! - and with the unusual sunny spring - we are enjoying the quilt free power generation for our home and car. Also note, all paperwork and communication was completed to the National Grid on our behalf with no hassle so we are now exporting power to other users across the network. Super job all round

Really pleased with our solar and battery installation. From Jason's initial visit, resulting in detailed plans and costings, to the installation led by Chris we found that Tethys were professional and knowledgeable. Our roof is complex, but they were happy to work with us to maximise the number of panels we could install - ending up with 20 where other suppliers said they couldn't even install 2! The installers were careful, neat and tidy and were happy to work with us to minimise the amount of visible cabling. Pricing was transparent, and the cost of modifications agreed up front. They have remained responsive after the installation was completed. We have already recommended them to a couple of neighbours who have expressed an interest.

Having had my solar panel system for 13 years and believe them to be the best investment I have ever made I decided to use Tethys Energy Ltd to carryout an audit and clean of the system. The team of two led by Chris arrived on time and carried out the work in a most efficient and friendly manner. Further to verbal feedback on the day I duly received the audit report online within the same week. The report identified that the RCD unit on my system although operational was not correctly rated therefore if an earth fault were to occur within the PV inverter it may not trip. Further to contacting Jason Fuller for clarification, I used his team to return and replace the said RCD unit which they did on a day and time that suited me. The service provided by Tethys Energy Ltd was top class and I would certainly recommend them.

I contacted Tethys Energy when I discovered a problem with my solar pv eps. They responded promptly and arrived on time. Even though they hadn't installed the system, they demonstrated excellent knowledge and confidence in all aspects of solar pv. After thorough fault finding, Jason fixed the problem and tested everything was working. Everything was left clean and tidy. From start to finish the service they provide is professional, friendly and reliable. I can certainly recommend Jason and his team.

In 2023 we had a solar pv system with battery storage fitted, but not by Tethys. The system works well and subsequently we were recommended to have an iboost+ fitted to heat hot water using excess energy. I thought the fitter (3rd party not part of the install team) was competent, but turned out to be a plumber with no solar experience....the iboost+ didn't work. I called numerous electricians for help, but as soon as solar was mentioned they weren't interested. Having looked a bit more carefully for an electrician I emailed Tethys, simply stating the above and not hoping for much. Jason responded within about 30mins and said they would have a look and it shouldn't be a problem. I was so pleased to get such a prompt and positive reply. Chris duly attended a few days later, tested, found a couple of faults, purchased a replacement part, fitted, tested and working! This was just a small job, but I was really impressed with the can-do attitude and professional way it was handled. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Tethys should we require any maintenance on the array going forward.

From my initial contact with Tethys Energy the administrator was most efficient in keeping me updated with Jason; MD involvement to survey, quote and install 9.5kw battery and associated equipment to my existing PV array of 12 panels. Especially since February 2024 more economic now that 20% VAT no longer applies to just battery installations. The workmanship is first class and working in the cupboard under the stairs without any complaints is to be applauded. I hope copious supplies of coffee helped! Thank you Jason and your team.

This was a tricky job with multiple trades involved. Jason and his team worked to make it super easy for me to get all the work done. The work they did on my solar panels was perfect and remedied many faults the original installers had left. An excellent team doing first class work.

I wanted to add additional batteries of the same type I already had installed and contacted Tethys. I received a prompt response and exchanged information about my current installation and requirements. Jason offered a competitive quote and we scheduled the works. Jason and his team kept in touch between booking and installation date and the works were completed efficiently on the day.

I chose Jason and his team at Tethys Energy following a recommendation from a close friend who has been very pleased with his solar panel installation and service, completed several years ago. Every aspect of their service, from initial survey, recommended system specification, installation and commissioning was first class. As a non technical person, I found Jason's advice and explanations very helpful in reaching my decision on how to proceed. The installation team were polite, hard working and cleared up each day. Our energy supplier surveyed our property using Google maps and told us our roof was not large enough for solar panels so we went to Jason for a second opinion. He visited us and surveyed the property and talked to us about what we wanted to achieve and then sent through a proposal. We liked his ideas and his technical competence and the fact that he had suggestions for us that we had not even considered. We agreed to proceed with the installation. Jason and his team arrived when they said they would, built the installation in the time they said they would and charged us exactly what they had quoted. They were incredibly professional and courteous and a pleasure to have around the house and their communication with us was outstanding from start to finish. We now have 16 full size panels on our roof, a GivEnergy inverter and battery, an Eddi diverter and full and complete certification and documentation. I would recommend Jason and his team to anyone considering a solar installation.

Jason and Chris came to upgrade our GivEnergy setup to provide backup to the entire house in case of a grid power cut, this was not installed originally when Octopus installed my solar system, but I wanted to have it as we are now 100% electric house. Jason and Chris had never done the Island mode before, but they understood my requirements and got the documentation from GivEnergy to do this install and provide me with a solution that worked for my needs, and it was absolutely great. All worked completed as expected, with a very small delay due to some additional things and cable runs, but all done quickly and neatly as expected. Chris was always communicating clearly how things were going and when power would be down for tests, etc, so all in all a great service.

An almost perfect project from start to finish - just a couple of teething problems post commissioning which were quickly sorted. Can't thank the guys enough. Installed solar panels and an inverter and battery in four days.

I had installation of solar panels, battery with power cut backup and hot water diverter. Jason did a full survey first and explained the options before sending a detailed proposal with estimates of power generation, potential cost saving and price for the installation. The deposit was covered by a protection scheme and the contract documentation very thorough. It was several months between the quote and work starting, but I was happy to have a long lead time in view of holidays and opportunity to consider alternative cable routes in my 1950s house. Work started to plan on a Monday and continued diligently through the week with the team of two joined by Jason on Friday to commission the system. All very well organised, precise, neat and tidy. My requests / ideas were listened to and after the first day I felt happy to go out to my usual activities while the job continued. Very happy with the work and performance of the installation.

A thoroughly professional and polite group of people led by Jason. They all seem to be experts in this field. Nothing was too much trouble and the install never felt intrusive which it could easily be with the roof , loft, and most of the house in play at some stage. The system is now humming along with perfect weather during and after the work. Eddi’s heating water, Zappi charging car and Solaredge invertor and batteries ensuring that both electricity and gas meters have been stationary since commissioning. Jason was very busy when we enquired last year and we had to wait our turn but we were so lucky not to have ventured elsewhere after curiosity got a couple of salesmen in during the interim. I would be surprised if anyone Jason works for could have expectations that go beyond what he will provide.
